The shop and especially the lovely woman behind the counter who I believe is the owner is literally the Hidden Gem of wells. My girlfriend and I have been here twice in the span of 3 years and always leave satisfied with the quality of what we get and her level of service. She puts a smile on every customers face that Ive ever seen go in and out

Bad store. The merchandise sucks, and the main woman working the counter was rude and belligerent. Do not come here, go to the store across the road!

My husband & I went the other day. I didnt go in because I cant wear a mask. As soon as the lady realized that I wanted to buy a sweatshirt because it was chilly out she not only told my husband he could take them out to me so I could see them she came to the doorway too help us with the sizes etc. She was very kind & gave is great customer service. Plus the price was very reasonable as well.

My husband and myself along with are nice and child went into beach comer with our hands completely full. We were in search of an umbrella so we could have a little bit of shade before he went on to the beach, I handed my child to my husband who had his hands full just like it quickly grab an umbrella. Well I had had a Dunkin donuts drink in one of the bags at my husband was holding that ended up just falling out accidentally, We instantly moved everything around it and asked for some paper towel so we can ourselves clean it up. The lady that was behind the counter aggressively said yeah thats why we dont allow drinks into our building very 1st thing she said after we apologized and asked for paper towels multiple times. She then came round the corner the 2nd thing she said was did you guys ruin anything Very snobbishly to which we said no and apologize another 3 times. While I was trying to wipe up the coffee that I had smell she started aggressively telling me to get away and that she would do it that shes gonna need a mop so doesnt stink like coffee in her store. As a local I will definitely be telling family friends to not be patrons in this store for the way that we were rudely Spoken to. Next time just say its OK, say next time please dont bring a drink in. None of this condesending tones like were a 5 year old, accidents happen.

It’s a nice place

I have very fond memories of this place. It was owned by a very good friend of our family, twin sisters who have both since passed on. They graciously invited us to spend two summers in Wells Beach, Maine, when I was a young kid. I know it is under new ownership but I am confident that it will still provide the great service to traverlers and vacationing familes as we enjoyed many years ago.
