I work for a company that uses Home depot a lot. We needed some material they only carried at the Wenatchee store so the gentlemen at the Pro Desk in Everett suggested I call Wenatchee directly and see if they would UPS or Fedex the material to me since we needed it in a timely manner. When I got the Contractor Desk in Wenatchee the guy who answered the phone was unprofessional, and rude. He hardly let me finish before he told me there was nothing he could do to help me. When I finally said well you should call your Everett store and let them know you arent able to ship products since it was their suggestion he said Youll have to talk to customer service. I am at the contractor desk and cant do things like that .... great, get me to someone who can. When he transferred me to customer service I got an equally unfriendly sales associate who also didnt want to hear what I was needing and interrupted me to ask what department I needed. I again explained we were after some roofing material that we needed shipped - so she transferred me to the lumber department. I told my request to yet another associate (who was actually friendly) and he told me he was in Lumber and there was nothing he could do to help, hed have to get me over to the contractor desk. The right hand does not work with the left, and the employees I spoke with lack customer service skills.
