This place is wonderful. The staff is always kind and the treats are always sweet. My husband loves the cherry soda icecream, and I love the strawberry soda icecream. Ive also had a strawberry phosphate and it was beautiful. They use actual fruit for their ingredients, not just flavoring, and that makes all the difference.You can get it to-go. They currently do not have seating inside the shop, but there are Covid spaces tables and chairs just outside the doors.

A taste of an century old ice cream parlor and the sundaes are huge. When we visit friends in Wenatchee, we make a point of stopping for ice cream sundaes or shakes. The huckleberry sundaes are out of this world. This is a must stop when in Wenatchee.

This place is an iconic landmark cant imagine Wenatchee Avenue without it I rode my bike by there while visiting my old Hometown this last week and I dont think there was a seat open in the entire place The Smiling Faces loading ice cream sodas to their mouth was a sight to see reminiscent of a simpler time quite heartwarming

The Staff is Wonderful ! They know how to treat All crowds and the Ice Cream, Shakes and Sweets are DELICIOUS ! Its always nice to stop by here for hearty rich dessert. I highly recommend Owl Soda Fountain !!! Ladies here run a tight ship ! Thanks

We were visiting from Seattle, so we visited OWL twice in two days. I noticed that some reviews said the service was bad, but we had great service both times. The prices were average, but the quality and scoop size was above average. :)OWLs window has a sticker claiming they are a bike friendly business and that definitely seems to be true. There is a ton of bike parking right outside the walk-up window, and its not just your standard setup. There is a bike repair station with a repair stand and a vending machine that contained a variety of essentials, including tubes, bars/gels, energy drinks, CO2, etc. There are also two bike shops in the immediate vicinity. (We stopped in Cycle Central and were thoroughly impressed by their store setup and friendly service.)They serve Umpqua ice cream here, and it was delicious. The flavors on the menu were all pretty normal, but there was a pretty long list so youre sure to find one that you like. Over the two days, my wife and I got a banana split and two brownie sundaes. They were large and hit the spot after a long ride on a hot summer day. The brownie sundae came with a huge brownie, but there was actually too much sauce for my tastes.There was not a lot of seating, but we were able to find a table and a high chair both times. They have a cool, old-fashioned bar (as expected), but it just wont work for small children. Since they have a gift shop too, I think it will be really cramped when they get busy. There is a bathroom in the first floor of the building. Its locked, so ask one of the OWL employees for the key. The bathroom did not have baby changing tables.

Mango sorbet was good but wish there was more dairy free options.

One of our family favorite places to go! The grandkids love it. When family visit from out of state we always take them to Owl Soda Fountain.

Last day of 1000 km bicycle trip. Great bike shop on lower floor ...Arlbergs.Nice quaint soda fountain idea. Lady behind counter was not engaging/personable despite only 2 customers. Owl knickknacks and history are good. This like an old time soda fountain out of the Archie comics or Happy Days.

My family and I were in town for a figure skating competition and decided to stop here on our way out of town headed home. This place did not disappoint. The hot fudge Sundae was the real deal with real thick hot fudge, not that Hersheys syrup stuff. Definitely, worth a visit and tour down memory lane.

I grew up frequenting The Owl Drug. They are as good as they have always been. I recommend the Cherry Soda or a Cherry Lemon Sour, but whatever you get, you wont be disappointed. They even have a walk up window from the outside. Delicious!

Its a charming 50s style soda fountain! How great is that! They have a variety of retro drinks, the Muddy Fizz (a cola and chocolate concoction) and the Lemon Lime Sour (a delightfully sour amped up Sprite) are particularly novel and delicious. They have food for people who want something to eat as a way to enjoy the ambiance a little longer, but they really arent equipped for meal preparation, so its mostly hot dogs, grilled cheese sandwiches and the like. Oh the other hand their desserts are great...banana splits!The rest of the shop is a gift shop filled with various touristy candies, little jewelry baubles, stuffed animals, greeting cards and that sort of thing. They also have a coin-op scale and a jukebox with oldie tunes.I have to warn folks that the people who run the place can be a little terse, even cranky with their customers. The shop has enough pleasures that it hasnt ever dampened my spirits enough not to love the place--but I have learned a degree of caution. Know what I want to order by the time they come by the first time. Order quickly and precisely, dont hem and haw.

We love to come into the owl for their old fountain shop feel. There are also small knick-knacks and gifts here as well as assorted candies. They have a lot of ice cream flavor or options and their malts are amazing!

Very friendly staff. Prices are very fair, and the food is a perfect selection of 50s soda fountain items. My wife and I split a banana split that was made in the old fashioned way.

Disappointing Customer Service. I used to go here as a child and I always loved it! Now my experience as an adult has changed. The milkshakes and the food is always great but the service is less than enjoyable. The two older women who have helped me each time are very unapproachable and have poor customer service. Ive gone on separate occasions with my child and a friend and her child and they are rude, not friendly and very short with us. Either they dont like their job or they dont like a certain type of customer. Not good for business.

Wenatchee residents should take all their guests here if they’re bored. It’s cute! There is a jukebox and the milkshakes are soooo gewd! Need some last minute gift ideas too? Go here, there is cute merch available as well.

A Wenatchee institution, its primary draw for me is the olf-fashioned soda fountain, complete with an equally old-fashioned juke box and scale youll ignore in favor of your favorite ice cream treat. Portions are generous (ld almost swear theyre even bigger than when I was a child) and service is excellent, not merely efficient but also friendly.

This is the last real soda fountain here. It was moved from its original location in the Owl Drugstore so dont expect to find a drugstore.
