When it comes to selection this Safeway has a good variety and the staff are very friendly. The isles are wider and feel well organized. The self checkout area is bigger then other locations in the area. My only complaint is the bread isles as well as the fruit section of store out of tendency have gnats. That being said I find the meat from the deli is better then any other grocery locations in the area when it comes to cleanliness, quality and customer service.

Today I just found out that Safeway now sells venison patties and venison ground meat.... Im so excited to give them a try

Safeway has always been chill. Safeway has never harassed me over this joke of a fake plandemic. COVID doesnt not exist. All viral sickness is a condition of chemicals in our system. The whole virology scam covers up, and displaces blame, away from the chemical and pharmaceutical corporations that are poisoning us. Its been proven that all viral sickness is only your own cells trying to detoxing you from chemicals.If you dont get vaccines, nor ingest chemicals, you never get a viral sickness.I give Safeway 4 stars for the reason of not harassing me for being maskless! And that reason alone. Otherwise we all know Safeway is over priced. But at least they arent despotic liberal tyrants!

Great neighborhood store with awesome deli and Starbucks. Pharmacy does terrific job with vaccines. Friendly atmosphere.

Easy to find products. The only issue I had was the self check out. It only takes debit.

I was having a good day until I got up to the cashier. She never has been friendly, never says hi how are you doing, or did you find everything you needed. I tried to help but criticism came out of her mouth. Next time I will avoid her. The store is always clean but chilly. Nice and bright. The lady at the meat counter was very friendly.

The best part about this store is frank. Such a wonderful character. Always friendly, always has a nice compliment to give. Really. I go to this grocery store instead of others because hes there. Way to go frank. Give this man a raise.

So many things are so incredibly overpriced, with no one shopping there and those overpriced items (meats!) overflowing the shelves that they have to be throwing most of it away.Employees also have some power complex. They sell gift cards. They have gift cards on display. Safeway allows you to buy gift cards. Credit card company allows you to buy gift cards. The checkouts let you buy gift cards. But Ive had two different employees stop me from buying gift cards and tell me they cant be bought. What!?!?!? The machine allowed it, and the employee pushed me out of the way to cancel it. Why have the darn things on the shelves if rogue employees are going to make individual decisions to thwart legitimate purchases by customers? Going out of your way to infer that longstanding customers are in some way criminals by simply buying what you are offering is a good way to destroy your business. Certainly a stock that Ill be shorting to take advantage of the self-implosion of their business.Fred Meyer on the other hand appreciates the customers that spend money in their store, and with MUCH better prices. Its worth the drive across the river to avoid this Safeway.Also, the parking lot is always strangely packed so you have to park near the gas pumps and walk across the lot to the store, yet when you get inside there is hardly anyone in the store.

Really dont appreciate the employees being rude or acting all suspicious and fallowing me around for literally no reason..... I understand a lot of people have be there and done some shady things and or also stole a lot from there however that wasnt me...... And never has or will be. So. Eff safeway... Just saying lol on the plus side I LOOOOOVE THEIR FLOWERS!!!!!!

Clean well stocked. Cashier did not get any of my jokes. Gas station window cleaning station was stocked. Water needs more soap. Squeegee worked well bugs are gone.

I have been shopping at my local Safe Way for over 30 years, they have the brands I want, in every category, produce & meat most important. There pharmacy is very busy and they have new people all the time. Not what it was in days of past, they use to have the same people there that remembered your name. Those days are long gone. The pharmacy only gets 2 Stars and could cause us to change pharmacies, and along with that goes groceries. So I hope someone fixes the problem. I know Im not the only one.

One of the closest stores to my house so we go here quite a bit. Its always well stocked and clean. Employees are usually very friendly. However, lock your doors to your car here, always. Every other time I come here there is someone prowling cars in the parking lot.

This place has the best flowers and gift shop in it it also has a area of cooked food to just stop by and get food on the go. I love the environment inside it is friendly, calm unlike most stores all hectic and pact with rude people.

Its a good Safeway but still a Safeway. I can find most things for less just as good quaity as there

Good clean store with plenty of parking. Prices are competitive and shelves always stocked well. Safeway had responded well to COVID.Still, check out staff is often disengaged, barley making eye contact or saying something friendly like “how are you today.”They seem more interested in getting you processed and on to the next person. That can be a good thing; keeps lines moving.Still, when you are giving a merchant hard earned money, one would expect some indication that your business is appropriated.

Ordered a hot sandwich from the deli and it was delicious. I am visiting from Seattle, but will be coming back to Wenatchee from time to time. Will definitely come back to this deli.

The Safeway here in East Wenatchee its awesome the staff is great stories clean I often use the Starbucks in Safeway in East Wenatchee and its awesome because you can use your EBT card at the Starbucks in Safeway East Wenatchee I also use the pharmacy which the pharmacy is friendly and fast and efficient all the people that work in this Safeway in East Wenatchee are very helpful and always have a smile on their face.

Tim at the Deli took care of me right away did a great job on the sandwiches and really showed attention to detail great customer service.

Its clean and the staff are nice, but youre gonna end up paying 8 bucks for 4 bell peppers. Come here for pharmacy & starbucks, go somewhere else for prices.

Safeway has O organics all over the store to give an organic choice to most items. Their Promise gluten free bread is one of the best Ive had. They have a small vegetarian section and have some frozen Quorn products. They dont have any gluten free vegetarian sandwich slices or vegetarian breakfast sausage. I have to go to Fred Meyer for those.

This is the Safeway I go to all the time. I work nights so I’m usually here right when it opens. Now, I don’t want to be THAT guy but upon entering right when they open at 5AM I noticed none of the shelf stockers were wearing masks. Once they saw myself and another lady enter they turned to put their masks on. I’m young and not super worried about myself getting deathly sick but they have elderly coworkers I would be concerned about. If anyone working there does see this I’d implore you to enforce the mask wearing rule. If not for them for their co workers and customers. Us as customers aren’t allowed in unless we wear masks so I think it should be the same for all employees. This is a great Safeway and have a very friendly staff. Maybe there’s a rule with mask wearing I’m not aware of, but for me I’d like to see everyone have a mask on. Again, to protect their fellow employees. I heard one of the managers is out for two weeks because of Covid so Id think they’d be taking it a little more seriously. When we’re not in a pandemic though this is the best store in town in my opinion.

A good but basic grocery store, Im here for a prescription...

This safeway is clean and less busy than other grocery stores in the valley. Wish they didnt have an old dirty rag sitting at the front, your supposed to use to wipe down your cart. It was sitting on top of a perfectly good batch of disposable wipes. Theyve set up one way isles and social distancing measures. Only problem is plp dont care or dont see the signs. Nice place to shop. Just hire someone to sanitize the carts.

I live close so I go there quite a lot. Pretty expensive on most things. But the quality is good & produce is fresh & displayed nicely.

IF ANYONE SAYS ALBERTSONS IS BETTER YOU BELONG TO PHYSCH WARD. THAT PLACE LITERALLY FEELS LIKE A WORSE WALMART AND WALMART IS BAD AS IT IS. WHY DOES SUCH A RANCID COMPANY OWN THE BEST PLACE TO BUY GROCERIES AT?? Im genuinely upset. Fred Meyers is hastle to get to and that parking lot is like navigating around a 5 acre casino and as I once stated, both Walmart and Alberstons are disgusting. I could go to Costco, but I dont want a pack of 120 batteries for $50 when I just want my Xbox remote to work. So the answer is Safeway... BUT ITS OWNED BY ALBERTSONS. Oh its not that big of deal, theres no difference. YES THERE IS. THE BAGS HAVE ALBERTSONS LOGO PRINTED ON THERE LARGER THAN A LOGO TO A SEMI TRUCK. I DONT WANT TO BE REMINDED THAT MY HARD EARNED MONEY IS GOING TO A HORRIBLE COMPANY WHEN IT SHOULD BE GOING TO THE ALPHA OF STORES. I could always go to target tho, that place isnt bad, just far away from where I live. Not nearly as good as Safeway tho

So organized and the staff is so nice

We came down with COVID-19 from a work exposure as essential workers. And ordered grocery pick up by a friend of ours. First we get an email say it was delayed. Then our friend got a text saying it was ready. When she got there. The store could not find our order and the pick up department people were gone. The manager started talking to our friend and then sent a minion person out to say we couldn’t get our order because they didn’t know where it was. This is a service I am sure you guys have made a lot of money during these times so I guess you don’t care

Deli clerk had spoon handle in the food used bare hands to move the the serving spoon with the tongs he was to use to serve my requested food.contaminated spoon tongs and apparently food.I declined my request and walked away.then I went to check out to purchase my items I felt were safe to buy and the customer in front of me was purchasing celery which was layed on the conveyer belt instead of handing it to the baggage clerk to bag which contaminated the celery with the dirty conveyer belt, apparently your staff have no concept of cross contamination.If you dont train your staff on clean sale of your presented items Ill take my business elsewhere.
