Employee in the paint department (gentleman) and the women at the self checkout were both exceptional. Helpful, kind and knowledgeable.

I usually patronize the 124th St location & Port Washington Road location...I only stop in this location, periodically throughout any given year.... being a contractor. If Im working in that general area. But overall I really dont have anything negative or positive to say about this location....🤷🏾‍♂️☝🏾 Which I think thats a good thing.... In todays society that we live in. 😉

Bought a Robin nailer...but got bombarded by some gal that was literally pushing heating and cooling systems down our throats to the point where she was stalking us around the store! Not cool!Liked their rugs and bathroom vanities tho!

An associate that gave 14 years of their life to the company and retired from the company passed away. So sad that Home Depot didnt send flowers. Please donate to the Sunset Play House in memory of this extrodanary associate that was so loved by costumers and associates

Lumber here is always the better choice than any other home improvement store. Hard to find help here for sure. Always a line at checkout.

Tattianna went above and beyond providing excellent customer service. My hands were more than full and she went out of her way to offer to check me out at the customer service counter. Thanks to her I didnt have to go to the other side of the store to check out. Kudos to her.

Home Depot say they give discount for us Veterans. But they dont and when you catch them not giving it to you after they say we do, they make it so difficult to get it. There is nothing worse then saying your going give it to us then trick or cheat us out of it. This is just so wrong.

I wanted to thank associate Kevin who went out of his way to help me find and then choose a furnace filter and a heat register. He was courteous and professional and when he saw the very long checkout lines he helped me get checked out quickly at the tool rental area!

Your always in stock the only thing that gets me is when Ive got concrete items too get on the far side of the store too walk to the otherside for check out and then the otheraide because I parked backwords in your parking lot. Everything you need for your home projects is here . Just bring the right measurements. But once its cut you cant return it of the measurements take by you not correctly.I love it there Ive bought wood to build my daughters special needs bed. My next project is to make my own king size canopy bed .

Service was horrible went into store to order carpet for my living room and two stair cases. Waited 2 months for the install. The day of the install workers showed up with carpet for living room that was to small because it was not measured right and one step of the carpet for one staircase. Called into the store to speak with a manager and was told I did not order both sets of staircase (even though I was showed two staircases in the layout for areas I needed carpet at) the store manager in so many words said I was lying because they did not have any measurements for two staircase mind you the people from Home Depot came out weeks prior to measure all areas in my home. Called today and someone else tells me they seen the order and it did include two staircases. Please stay clear of this store ! Management is no help and can’t own up to the blame that this was there screw up. I will never shop at Home Depot ever again and would encourage anyone else I know to either. Menards or Lowe’s will now get all of my money when it comes shopping for home repairs and tools.

Huge shout out to Tom B. (In electrical I think) who provided us world class help today. My girlfriend and I came in on a busy Saturday trying to prepare for a long over due project on the honey do list. After aimlessly strolling through the isles we finally came across Tom who was eager to take us under his wing and make sure we had all the supplies to get the job done. Tom went out of his way to provide us with a personal shopping experience guided by a professional handyman filled with knowledge learned from years of experience.We have always been impressed with the service at Home Depot, but this is the kind of service that will most definitely keep us coming back. Were in the middle of painting the outside of our house. Got a gallon for the trim, they took my phone # put it on my account...or so I thought, had to go back for a 2nd can, went home started painting and touching up realized it was the wrong color, went back up there with a swatch of original color because they couldnt read the can, they mixed me another can, started painting...AGAIN not the right color...well they put the wrong color in the computer the 1st time, 3x I had to go up there for a different can, I felt I should of gotten a refund, the woman said, she needs to let her young people know to pay more attention...WHAT?? Wont make the same mistake by going there the next time!

Best experience Ive ever had dealing with a hardware store.

They had the Halloween twin pumpkin kids that my wife was searching for!Surprising how several other locations went as far as telling us dont expect to see them, or because their corporate web site shows them doesnt mean their getting any or will be available.

Had an online order and it was canceled after an hour because they did not have the items. Hours later I had to come to the store anyways so, I decided to take a look and sure enough I found all the items I needed and they were in stock. The 2 drill bits I needed were on a side cap by the lumber checkout and there was 8 of them. You could have atleast subbed for a different brand like Milwaukee or atleast give me the bigger item I wanted to buy.

Great place go there a lot but all my Milwaukee tools there when I couldn’t find one that I was looking for I asked Craig to climb the ladder and got one up on the very top shelf for me and then he fix me up with the correct batteries I will go back there again

Less than one star. Complete waste of time shopping here. I came for items the website says they have ample in-store stock of to find they dont even carry the basic items I came for. I left a review on their website only to receive an email that my review was rejected for not meeting their standards. Theyre obviously not concerned about meeting my standards, Ill be rejecting this store going forward.

If I could give it less than 1 star I would. I have issues with my legs so I called ahead to make sure they had what I needed. They said they did and I went about 20 minutes later. They didnt have anything that I called ahead about. It was a wasted trip. There are other places to go, but that was the closest. Lesson learned.

At first I had troubles getting somebody to help me look for moving boxes but finally found them and the girl at the checkout self-checkout was awesome

Honestly, they don’t even deserve a 1 star. I went to the store a few times and ask for a flooring quotes, they turn me down a few times asking me to return back and that they will call back. I waited for their call a week no call, I call back they said the same thing. When I call the store about my order status, they hang up on me. I recall and they said they they have another customer and put me on hold. Bad customer service.

Working with Home Depot themselves has been a great experience. They are great at helping and coordinating the material and services. However, the manufacture they used to do my carpets will not stand behind their product. After install, we noticed a spot on the carpet that unraveled. When we escalated the problem to the manufacturer, they simply did nothing. When you go to select a carpet product from Home Dept, DO NOT USE ENGINEERED FLOORS products. This has nothing to do with the store or the installer, just the manufacturer.

Not bad had what i needed got a new chain for the kids swing and some glue for my broken owl treat holder for the kids.

They have No 5 gallon black buckets with matching gamma lids... 😭(Thats why I went)But still a super hardware store!!!

I ordered paint two separate days two separate stores and at both stores they a more expensive paint and charged me more. If I ask for a certain paint Thats the brand I want I dont want the top of the line. This is very disappointing. Is there anyone out there working now days who actually listens to what you say?

Went in for some GFCIs, switches, boxes and cover plates. They had everything I needed at a decent price. Always have good experiences here.

I placed a call in regards to appliance delivery, David T. answered and was so kind. He went above and beyond to assist me with my order and he was sure to guide me in the right direction. This is why I love Home Depot their employees are great!!

I use Home Depot for all my commercial needs through my landscape business. I’ve spent thousands of dollars here and the service is absolute trash. No one has their forklift license. No one knows what’s going on. They all have horrible attitudes. I will take my business elsewhere. This is by far the worst customer service I’ve experienced.

I dont know why I go back to home depot. You call and ask them to check stock, they say that items are there when you get to the store they say oh we cant find it... But they will gladly deliver it for a $60 charge. Total incompetence.

Home Depot can be hit or miss.This one was fantastic. Easy to find someone to answer my questions. They didnt make me feel like an idiot.I was here on a Saturday evening around 8pm.Your mileage may vary, but I was made to feel like a true weekend warrior this time.

I called my local store for a rental of a 13 inch ground saw. Which is what its called on the app. He had to ask 3 times what I wanted. I couldnt reserve it ahead of time, the customer service rep had to actually go check the condition of it, (whether it was in working condition) and was very short and rude, like he just didnt care that I was gonna be spending a bit of money there. Will update after I use it. Hopefully it works as it should.

He stated that he could take care of me right by the service desk area so that I didnt hv to walk all the way to the other side. Thank god if you havent met rachel at service desk, she is very rude and unprofessional. I was standing there for 5 minutes calling out to her while she stared at a computer screen googling things. She completely unacknowledged me knowing I was there as I was right by her. She couldnt even tell me she will be with me in a moment. Finally someone told her to help me and she was utterly rude and has a nasty attitude helping me. Al from garden was very kind though! He guided me and helped me through everything.

Went in to look for some floor jacks and know one would help me. Some lady working the cash register told me to walk to the other end of the store. I told her know she can see Im handicap. Why are all them employee so lazy that know one can walk you to where the product your looking for is at. Home depot really sucks.

Then there always has to be someone that cant answer a basic question or is just incompetent.The other pain is having to check myself out when Im done. Do I get a discount for having to do your job???Skip the self check out and go over to the pro-desk, its worth it.

Christmas tree disaster! Weve gotten our tree there the last 5 yrs. Took 30 mins after picking perfect tree to find someone to cut ( with dull hand blade and dull Sawzall) Dangerous! and then walked all over the store looking for a check out. Ended up at self check out and hand carried tree out the door, painful! Custom service was terrible.

The new ace hardware for self help

I met with a kitchen counter specialist to order a counter that I would install myself. I explained exactly what I wanted for the counter and we drew up a picture for the manufacturer. When my counters arrived they were completely wrong. The manufacturer said the counters they made matched the drawing. If I am working with a specialist, I am putting my trust that they know how to draw up what I am describing- a counter along a wall. So how did my count end up with a rounded edge on the front and back (where it should be flush with the wall)?? The manufacturer generously offered to remake at half price, but Home Depot refused to do anything about their error and put the blame on me- not the counter specialist who should have caught the error. This is my second time getting counters there and both times there were issues. I was a loyal customer, with a newly purchased property, spending hundreds at this location. I will no longer be purchasing anything from Home Depot. What disappointing customer service. Their mistakes and lack of product knowledge, yet I’m the one who has to pay.

If you havent met Tina at the paint desk, youre in for a treat. Shes the one with the mask pulled down to her chin while she stands shoulder-to-shoulder with coworkers, complaining loudly about something work related while staring at you standing at the order counter. You can have the exact color, brand, size and sheen on your phone screen, hand it to her, and shell get it wrong. And shell tell you something wrong (having to paint match) about what she gets wrong (paint brand). But today, with a statewide mask mandate, I saw so many fully maskless customers (despite an employee at the door) that ... meh... shes about right for the place.

My go to store. The staff are always helpful when needed.
