I purchased a spa from Allied Pools at State Fair. Doug Javier did a great job of explaining and demonstrating the differences in the jets, seats, styles, etc. and was very patient with my questions.Unfortunately, we had to cancel delivery of the spa due to relocating for my job. I was so worried I wasnt going to get a partial, let along full refund. Doug was very understanding and refunded my full payment. I would totally recommend Allied Pools for anyone looking for a spa.

We found the staff at Allied pools most informative, helpful, and patient with their time in answering all of our questions. This was in spite of the fact that business was booming and the Allied staff was very busy when we were there. They were genuinely committed to help us pick out the perfect hot tub to fulfill our needs. The staff at Allied made the experience of buying a new hot tub very pleasant from start to finish. The workmen that removed our old broken hot tub and delivered the new tub were friendly and efficient. Likewise the electricians that Allied recommended were very efficient, professional, and clearly knowledgeable at hooking up hot tubs. Once the tub was operational and we had used it several times, we brought a sample of our hot tub water back to the store. Allied had offered to test the water for us to verify that we were following their detailed instructions and were doing it right. SUCCESS !

Waited to write this review. Ordered a hot tub back in February. Allied had the best deals and the exact size we were looking for. Ordering process went very smooth. Yes, they had delays from the manufacturer. We called occasionally for updates, they returned calls promptly. I work in supply chain and 2020/21 has not been a normal year. I can imagine they are doing their best to communicate what they are getting from the manufacturer. Got our hot tub today and we are loving it. It was frustrating because of the pending excitement but we understand.

We bought our 18ft pool when Allied had their moving sale for a great price. We dealt with Jeremy, he was very informative and friendly. He has answered all the questions we have had through the whole process. Mikes pool service installed our pool. They did a fantastic job in a timely manner and highly recommended both.

After looking on line for pools for almost a year we decided to check out Allied Pools. After all, both of us grew up with pools that our parents purchased from them about 45 years ago! We went on a Sunday and were greeted the minute we walked in the door. After giving us some time to look on our own Douglas was there to explain everything we needed to know about the different packages they had available. He didnt rush through anything and he answered our questions honestly even if it was what we didnt want to hear! Once we wrapped things up Douglas said that he would e mail us a quote on the package that we were interested in. We were very pleased that he did just that before the end of the business day! As much as we hate to say this, we have found that all to often people do not actually follow through with what they say they are going to do. Once we received the quote we had some more questions and he was more than happy to answer them and change our package to suit our needs. We are both very happy with our experience and it is refreshing to know that someone was actually happy to do their job and sell their product. We closed the deal yesterday and we are happy that we chose to keep our business local. Allied Pools is fortunate to have Douglass as their employee and their manager. We look forward to doing business with them in the future for all of our pool needs.

While I certainly appreciate a smooth experience end to end, perhaps a better measure of a company is what they do in those exception cases when things dont go so well. I was undoubtedly an odd exception case for Allied. I got the wrong hot tub model delivered by their partner delivery company. I called Allied on the weekend and they had things fixed by Monday. The crew was out with a sled delivering the new one in 0 degree weather in a foot of snow and taking the old one away. Jacuzzi shipped the wrong cover color for my tub, but Allied hooked me up with a temporary replacement. The corner on the tub had a big gouge in it from shipping, but Jeremy at Allied ordered me a replacement under warranty. My self-chosen electrician wired up my tub and I turned it on to test and it seemed fine, so I sent them on there way and started filling in 0 degree weather...a scary proposition. Once the tub was full I turned it on and it threw a flow error. By this time Allied was closed and I was worried about a tub freeze up. I emailed the manager Jeremy and within an hour despite the shop being closed he was calling me from home. He walked me through clearing the air lock I had and all was good (new buyer filling mistake). The next day after the tub reached temp, we decided to give it our first try... unfortunately, after 30 minutes...one of the pumps cut out and then the other. After a call to Jeremy, he determined the fix on this was beyond him, but he quickly hooked me up with his awesome local service tech Rick and assured me that since the circulation pump was running smoothly, I should be OK keeping temp. After talking things through with Rick, he landed on the thought maybe there was a wiring issue sending the wrong voltage to the motors causing them to overheat, so I contacted the electrician. After reviewing the owners manual and with Ricks keen Intuition in hand, I was able to determine the electrician (my hand chosen electrician, not the Allied recommended one) made a mistake and wired my tub following the J335 instructions and not the J385 instructions (both were in the same manual...thanks Jacuzzi :( ). The electrician was out the next day to fix it and things have been running great ever since. I had a lot of mishaps...some self-inflicted (picking cheaper electrician vs using Allied recommended) and there was tremendous stress caused by my choice of doing this all in 0 degree whether. Thankfully Jeremy at Allied had my back the whole way and turned what could of been a horrible experience into a pleasant one. His service tech Rick was also tremendous and we would have been lost without him and the free phone support he provided. In the end, we absolutely love our Jacuzzi J-385 and Allied has been great through all the trial and tribulations. I know for sure we were an abnormal case and anyone buying from Allied would normally have a smoother process, but if things do go off the rails, know that they are quality company employing highly knowledgeable people that act with integrity. Sometimes bad things happen, we are very pleased with our J-385 Jacuzzi hot tub and our purchasing experience at Allied. We wont go anywhere else for all of our hot tub needs going forward!

I have been coming to Allied for years because I want to support small business, thats the only reason I come here. They have what youre looking for. You will pay much more than anywhere else. $21 for a small pool scimmer with 5ft pole. Have never had anyone offer to help is or how are you thanks for coming in it feels like they are doing you a favor for being there. Ill keep supporting their small business but only because they are the only option.

Im going to give them a 2 star because the customer service in this place is amazing from all workers! After being exited for almost 2 weeks of buying our pool, we decided to read the reviews :( The first review we saw was!!! We have been waiting since December and still nothing! We decided to call 2 days before our 2 weeks and guess???? Back order until middle of July! Which probably means December!!!????? Sooooo disappointed! Specially because I couldnt keep a secret and got my kids exited!!!! Worst part!! I ran that credit for NOTHING😡

After a little bit of a delay in delivery we received our hot tub in June. We were a little frustrated at first, but Once we got in contact with the manufacturer we learned that it was not Allied‘s fault on the delays it was the manufacture who was very responsive and communicated that it was delayed on their behalf. Since receiving our hot tub we are very satisfied and Doug has been so helpful every time we stop in or call with questions. Doug is very knowledgeable and great to work with! Thank you.

We were told our pool would arrive in April… and May… and June. It’s July and still no pool. The worst part is the lack of communication and concern from the staff. We are often put on hold for long periods of time. When we do reach someone, we are usually told we need to speak to someone else. When we leave messages or send emails, it takes several attempts before anyone responds.

My 1 star review is based on our experience thus far as we still have yet to receive our hot tub that was purchased almost 5 months ago.I may change this review based on how this situation is handled between now and when our hot tub is delivered.For now, I will give a timeline of our experience with Allied Pools and allow you decide for yourself if this is a business you would like to work with...12/12/20 - purchased hot tub, paid deposit. Was told to expect delivery at the end of FebMid January 2021 - called to confirm delivery was still on schedule. We were told it will now be end of March.3/25/21 - we were contacted and were told we needed to pay the balanced owed in order to schedule the delivery which we did. We were told hot tub would be delivered on 3/27.3/26/21 - called to confirm deliver and were told it will now be 4/94/8/21 - called to confirm delivery and were told it will now be 4/164/15/21 - we were contacted by the delivery company (not Allied but the delivery company) to let us know the wrong hot tub had been ordered.4/16/21 - told our correct hot tub had been ordered and now it will arrive the week of 4-19 to the 23rd and delivered to us on 4/264/26/21 - hot tub did not arrive. We called and texted Allied several times for an update4/29/21 - calls and texts returned with a phone call indicating the hot tub will ship from the manufacturer in 1-2 weeks and will be delivered the following FridayWe have been extremely understanding with regards to delays due to COVID and subsequent demand. My greatest frustration - other than not being able to enjoy our hot tub - has been the lack of communication and follow up from the company which is inexcusable.I may update this review based on what happens next. This is an opportunity for Allied to turn a negative in to a positive but it is going to take a major change in the communication and professionalism on the behalf of Allied.UPDATE...We received our tub in accordance with the last timeline promised above. Since we received the tub we have had several calls from Allied to confirm it is running correctly and that the water is balanced which has been nice. I am going to change my review to 2 stars but I doubt we will buy anything else from Allied in the future due to their over promising and under delivering.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Starts with the manager and permeates down! We bought a lovely #Tropitone table and chairs and our sales person, Tiffany, suggested we can also buy replacement slings for our old set. When the new chairs arrived, the old chairs were too low for the table, so the 4 replacement slings (at $105 each) were not necessary. Well return & buy additional chairs. No returns. Fine. But after that, they would not call us back, & the sales person would not return our calls, although we left messages and were told she would call us. All we wanted to do was to buy additional chairs. To top it off, the table that we ordered with an umbrella hole, was delivered without the hole, too. Today, (after 6 additional weeks), the table top was delivered, and the manager, Jeremy, suggested we are supposed to install it ourselves. We did help the delivery guy to install the new top, although it might not be on right. #BUYER-BEWARE! Absolutely will take your money, but NO SERVICING after the fact, and NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. If you can go to another store, do it! And all we wanted was a little consideration since we had already invested so much $$ into the set. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE.

He said I could leave my name and number someone would get back as soon as possible, it has been 4 days .. piss poor customer service

On the front end of our pool purchase everything was great, it was the follow through that really ticked us off. When it came time to deliver our pool they called us a week earlier than we said we could take it. That was all in good when we purchased it, but the delivery end called and was put off because we couldnt take it. We reiterated when we could and we waited. My husband finally gets a call on a Thursday and is asked if the pool can be delivered Friday or Saturday. We said Saturday. Then they told us they would rather not deliver it on Saturday. Why give us the option then. So we tried to make arrangements for Friday that didnt work so my husband called and left a message that it wouldnt work. Never heard back. Saturday and came home to $5200.00 of pool equip. in our driveway. No call. Unacceptable.

Took 3 months to get the tub. Delivery company left garbage all over my yard. Damaged my lawn. steps railing and cover holder were not assembled and we were not instructed that we were required to assemble them and that the tubs weight was to hold them in place so now I have to drain the tub. Store was not helpful and was told the sales man should have instructed us of this. But conveniently he no longer works there.Terrible service. 1 star is a gift.

Nice store, didnt have to wait too long to talk to a sales person. However, sales person was told several times that I wanted a sand filter and not a cartridge filter and when it was delivered it came with a cartridge filter system. As that is what he put on the order form (my bad for not confirming the type of filter before I signed) I have to figure out how to get the filter and pump in its enormous box back to the store to swap. As I drive a subcompact, that is not going to happen so I am stuck with something I didnt want. Not pleased and unlikely to return.

I was there on Sunday to pick up a solar cover. I was supposed to be on the side to be picked up as I already paid for . It wasnt there. I asked the owner. He was extremely rude. It was across the parking lot . He wouldnt go get it. It was alright to take my money. I had to go around the building to get it. Poor service from an owner. The rest of the people are wonderful, very helpful. Friendly. They are the only reason I come back.

Terrible customer service. My husband and I was looking for a new hot tub. We were in there with one other customer. Twenty minutes in the store never once did an employee acknowledge or ask us if we needed any help. My husband started to approach two employees and nodded at them for assistance, but they walked right past us talking about who knows what and laughing. Irritated and annoyed, we left. We went to Master Spas in Waukesha and ended up getting our hot tub there with great customer service.

The website says they are following safe guidelines, they are not. They are not enforcing social distancing of the customers or themselves. The staff are within two feet of you. No limiting the number of people in the store. One person that worked there had a mask on, but under his chin.

I am beyond frustrated and have been hung up on. We purchased two 13 foot cantilever umbrellas from Allied last year. One of them did not close after the first time we opened it in May 2020. It is now August and we still dont have our umbrella. they are blaming the manufacturer but they have not reached out to us once to communicate the status of the umbrella, I was told that I was stressing the guy who answered the phone out, that I was the 5th person that day that called yelling at him and if I didnt change my attitude he wouldnt check on my umbrella. He gave me a bunch of excuses and at one point said he did not have a gun to my umbrellas head and was not holding it hostage. I told him this was no way to treat a customer and he needed to look at his business to figure out how they could provide better customer service. He told me they are 3 weeks behind returning customer emails. Then he hung up on me!

So I called Allied after a different pool company who I bought a liner from had scheduled a liner install. Well that installer was a joke and just wasted time and never did anything. So i called Allied to ask for a installer and they gave me the number to Mikes Pool Service who they contract some jobs to. Mike was excellent and head my line in within a few days. Thanks for the info for Mike, I will now by my supplies from you guys going forward!

We have been to Allied Pools for years. We were sent an email assuring that the store is following proper guidelines for protection and safe distancing re: Covid-19. Well that was all BS. I went to pick up our order and NO social distancing. NO masks on employees. Blue Xs on floors but nobody respecting that. Four teen/young staff behind register elbow to elbow-no masks. And the managers helping customers (no masks and NO social distancing).Basically lies. No concern for public. No concern for risk or spread of the virus. Must be more concerned for being open and making money because so easily disregard safety of others. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!!! Now we have to find a new pool store.

I actually have a health condition that prevents me from wearing one but their immediate response was to lecture me on the policy of wearing a mask while in the store. Amazing friendly staff, great wide selection on patio furniture and pool toys. The chemicals they have are for a low price which is incredibly shocking because alot of other pool stores sell them for an incredible amount higher. The staff are really knowledgeable when It come to fixing pool balances or algae including the black algae. They know everything when it comes to pools or patio furniture Id buy from them again!! I highly recommend!!

We were window shopping for a unit with no intention of buying until future. Douglas Javier did such a job with the experience, we purchased that day. He is a spa owner himself, and very knowledgeable and goes the extra mile to provide exceptional customer service. We bought our pool from Allied & we always go to them for purchases & the 20% sale. I was very upset they never let us know about it, but I try to watch for it. Well I called & found out it had passed and whoever I talked to said they could do nothing about it. I was really upset by this. I wrote a bad review & said I would never shop there again. A day or so later I received a very nice call from a man named Doug that worked at Allied Pools and said he was sorry about the miss understanding & he would extend the 20% discount to me. I told him then that I was undergoing treatment for cancer & didnt know when I could make it in. He said he would put my name down & to come in when I could & they would know to give me my 20% off. I really appreciate this man reaching out to me. Hes an excellent employee & I really appreciate what he did. Thank you Doug.

Refreshingly great service. Doug sold us our 1st Jacuzzi at the State Fair for a really great price. They held it for weeks as we fumbled with getting the foundation poured, with no issues, delivered on time and put right into place. After we had the electric hooked up, over several calls, they helped us with every step of the process. Just recently Doug called me back, a half hour after they close to help me with an issue I happened to figure out just prior, prompting this review. Overall, great product, great price, and the best service Ive seen in while.

The worse experience I have ever endured with a company. I came to purchase flippers, goggles, and snorkeling tube. There was a tag on the sets for $19.99 when I went to checkout the sales guy stated they were $45 each. Yet, the tag said $19.99. The store manager said the best he could do is 20% off. I am not one to pull the race card however when the sales guy told the store manager about the price he was more so okay 19.99 but then looked at me and said yup! 20% off of $45. Very disappointing.

The guys who work here are really nice, except one guy - whose attitude was flippant and condescending. When I asked to speak to his manager, I was informed he was the owner. I could hardly believe it. During another visit I was working with one of the really nice staff on the floor, and asked casually if that guy across the room was the owner (I spotted the rude dude I talked to on my prior visit). Yes, it was in fact the owner. Wow. I never went back. The only reason Im giving 3 stars is that the rest of the workers were really nice and helpful, and the products are quality. I wont go back though, cant support an owner who treats his customers like theyre idiots. I dont need that.

Didn’t buy, likely won’t from here. They didn’t do anything particularly wrong. I just didn’t have a good vibe. The buy now/sale ends Saturday was really quite a put off. I’m not ok with prices changing based on whether or not the item is financed etc. The sales person wouldn’t stop rattling off stats and features, literally visibly stopped to catch a breath and then right back to yacking. Also found they contract service, no one on site is a truly qualified tech. It just had the stack em high, sell em cheap, worry about it later feel. Good things though - expansive show room of tubs and game room items. Maybe it was me.

Its been quite a few years since I purchased my pool from Allied, but just getting used to the whole idea of social media and posting and Ive always wanted to spread the word about how I felt about Allied. To say their service was poor-fair is not correct actually, it was VERY poor. They were great and friendly when we walked into their showroom to purchase a pool. But fast forward a couple of years when we had a problem getting the chemicals right in our pool and we went in to ask for help and were met with the most rude, unhelpful response you could imagine. We were actually asked who our salesperson was and when we said we didnt remember his name we were told hed have to help us so they couldnt help us. We had a sample of water w/us and they wouldnt even look at it. We went to Baker Pool and Fitness on South 27th St. and could not have been happier. Even though we did not purchase our pool from them they were more than happy to diagnose our problem and help us. We buy all of our pool supplies from Baker and are very happy w/our service from them. Would NEVER purchase anything from Allied Pools.

Always have what you need there chemicals are good they are a little pricey but worth it staff is very knowledgeable they carry a full line of Doughboy Pools Parts Hayward filters but they are kind of expensive on the cartridges for the element filters if I had a choice when buying a new pool I would use the Earth filter or pick them might cartridges are expensive and the amount of Earth you use in two years equals one cartridge and you need about four cartridges on hand so you can clean them and put them back in but it is always best to buy a new cartridge and their 150 bucks
