My partner and I went there for lunch today and had an awesome experience! We both ordered the Thai bubble tea and pesto mozzarella sandwiches and both were amazing. The sandwiches in particular were out of this world- very generously sized, with lots of gooey, delicious cheese. Their ingredients are clearly high quality. The service was also very warm! So glad to have found this spot in Milwaukee.

I loved that as soon as I walked in was noticed and helped. The customer service was a 10. The shop is beautiful and organized, and things are labeled and easy to find. The menu is pretty diverse with many different drinks and food items. I will definitely be back.

Swaye Tea.... is just that... you walk into the store... and find yourself swaying into a mystical intimate utopia with the best aromas. Youll find cups, tea, smoothies here and a quiet place to sit down and study or read. This place is on the rise. I will bring my family here when they visit.

Great hospitality. Great smoothies. I was even educated on sea moss and other herbs you can find in the store. I highly recommend this place..

Came in this store doing doordash and I have to say that I am grateful that I did because everything in the store. Is exactly what I was looking for in a store. If you’re looking for natural herbs, smoothies and even rare items. Customer service needs just a little bit more of organization.

I went there at lunchtime for a sandwich yesterday because there was a cute little sign on the curb that offered sandwiches. The only person in the store was the person working. She didn’t say a word to me, but I ordered a sandwich anyway. She rolled her eyes. I asked if the kitchen was open. She said not really, “but I guess I can make it for you.” Obviously, I left. Seems like they aren’t in the business of making money. So sorry I inconvenienced you. Hard pass. Instead, go....ANYWHERE else.

Rude worker did not make me feel comfortable. She literally snarled at us and whoever was on the phone and computer was way more important then a quick Sorry, Ill be with you in a minute. I wont be back between the attitude and the panhandler getting comfy on a stepstool in the store.

Such a clean place. I’ve tried their milk tea and soups. All tasted wonderful and fresh. The main attraction would be their loose leaf teas and herbs. They have a good selection of merchandise that includes tea accessories and mugs—perfect for gifts!

I went to Swaye tea in the past and felt welcome and taken care of. However, this last time was the complete opposite and I experienced VERY poor customer service.When I entered the store I was not greeted by anyone. When I approached the counter I explained to the young girl working that I had a list of herbs I wanted to buy but I might need some guidance on the items I was considering. She rolled her eyes and sighed and bent down to grab something from underneath the counter. I assumed she was going to grab a list of the items they offered but instead she went back to what she was working on!! At this point I was ready to walk out but I really needed the items I was looking for so I began scanning the wall and searching for them myself.Another customer was in there at the time and noticed me looking at my phone for information on some herbs - he shared that the shop will special order some things for you if needed. At this point a random customer was more helpful than the person working.A few moments later, the young girl walked over to me and said the owner would be back shortly to help me. The owner arrived and I showed her what I was looking for. At that point she had to get the young girl working to help retrieve the herbs and she seemed very reluctant to do so.While I was waiting a small group of people came in. They were looking at the menu wall and kind of awkwardly standing there not really being able to see the menu items. The young girl working was oblivious to this so I stepped to the counter and grabbed a menu for them.While I was waiting I was browsing Swayes Facebook page and saw they were having a buy one, get one half off sale on everything in the store. This was never mentioned to myself or the people that just arrived in the store. I find it hard to imagine it would have been made know to us upon check out either. I asked the worker about it and she acted like she did not know what I was talking about until the owner stepped in and said they would apply the discount. At that point the other group had already ordered and after I mentioned it I heard them whispering saying they wouldve ordered another drink if they knew about the deal.Overall this was a really disappointing experience. I went out of my way to drive to and spend money at this local, Black-owned business and I do not think I will be returning. I only know of one other herb/apothecary type shop located in Bayview but it is white-owned and has less selection. Super sad :(

Ordered a sandwich and taro milk for lunch, when I received it the Boba bubbles were crunchy. Reading the response in previous reviews amongst the boba quality I can’t say I would give this a second chance. Unfortunate because I love Boba and wish we had more places that offer it.

Excellent little tea shop! The owner is very sweet and knowledgeable. Mocha Latte and Chai Latte are both amazing!

I HIGHLY recommend the Turkey Mozzarella Panini Sandwich! It was so flavorful with a generous amount of meat and cheese. I also had their Mocha Latte bubble tea that had just enough of everything. I have yet to go in but I ordered through Grubhub and was already impressed. PHOTOS of my order in their photo album. 😋💕

My friend and I checked this place out the other day and would highly recommend! Lots of tea options to choose from and the owner was very helpful. We also got some sandwiches and smoothies, which were delicious!! Definitely check this place out!!

Solid cafe food like sandwiches, excellent bubble tea. They got curbside pickup during the pandemic too, which is appreciated.

Love this little shop & so proud it’s in the West Allis community. The employees are so sweet! When they didn’t have the specific tea I was looking for, they offered to make a special blend tea for me. I gifted this tea to a friend who said it was wonderful. I’ve also had their smoothies which are delicious. Highly recommend this shop!

This shop is lovely! They have a significant selection and are happy to assist with recommendations if you find yourself unable to choose (as me and my two friends were, lol). The teas recommended to us were -phenomenal-. I will definitely be back!

Don’t eat the chicken dumplings. They use chicken from a can :(. They don’t wear gloves when they cook. Don’t order from here!

My daughter worked at this location. She was never fully paid her wages for all the labor she put in.Fair warning to any parent letting their kids work at this location, you will need to be able to prove the amount of hours your teen works weekly. This location needs to provide employees with their clock in - clock out information the first day of employment. My daughter stated that everyone else had their clock in - clock out information. My daughter stated that employees with the clock in - clock out information checks were being shorted as well. When the supervisor was questioned her response was “I’m helping you save”. My daughter worked at this location for 7 weeks, she was told to be patient when the hours worked didn’t match the pay. that’s when we told he she had to quit because she was being taken advantage of.Supervisor’s trying to recollect all of an associate hours at the end of the week isn’t feasible without the proper documentation. Some other items to be aware of, unauthorized 401(k) plans and Wage fraud.

Pretty disappointed. After reading the reviews I was hoping this place would be great but the prices on the menu weren’t correct and then when I tried my drink after leaving the shop it tasted like gross water. The tapioca balls tasted old and I ended up just throwing away my drink. I would suggest trying a different place for bubble tea.

Got the Swaye bowl today since it was close to my name; it was outstanding and great service 10/10 would recommend. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to one of those smoothie bowls.

This cute little shop is a beautiful addition to downtown West Allis! Loose leaf tea as well as herbs! Beautiful tea cups and pots and other gift sets. But Im in love with the glass travel infuser mugs! Friendly staff!
