We ordered a stone in November and was told it would be installed the first part of January. Mid January ...no stone, no communication on the delay. When I called I was told they couldnt get materials in to make the stone. Beginning of February still no stone and still no updates. Mid February I requested my money back. I had paid in full for the stone but company would only refund half. They claimed that part of my total was a nonrefundable deposit. Honestly a refund never entered my mind until the stone was never delivered or even in the beginning process of being made. The lack of communication was unprofessional and the rudeness I encountered when requesting a refund was unethical and dishonorable. I would not recommend this company.

They were closed all of January due to employees having Covid, but beautiful work once they were able to install our family headstone. Highly recommend.

The Memorial Design team recently did two art features for my families home. Their eye for art detail is exquisite. Their crew installing the work were so polite and helpful, despite the extra work it required to actually get the stone to its final resting place. Thank you for a job well done.

My brothers and I lost both our parents in 2001. We decided we wanted to commision a cemetery plot that would serve our extended familes. We were shocked when the first two companies simply handed us catalogues to look and chose from. The first man kept talking about customizing and showing us clip art he could substitute. Every other word was how to make it cheaper. (How can you use the word, clip art, and customize in the same sentence? Also, when someone is commissioning a once in a lifetime project, shouldnt we be discussing how to make it better as opposed to how to cut corners?) The third company we visited was highly recommended. The designer kept drawing pencil sketches but couldnt seem to grasp what we wanted. Worse, his drawing ability seemed confined to !ittle more than stick figures. He kept talking about having to import something and his sketch never did come close to what we were asking for. Finally, my brother found Memorial Design. After several conversations on the phone we decided we had found the studio who could deliver. We scheduled a design session and the three of us hopped on a plane from Indy to Carolina. When I pictured commissioning something, the design session at Memorial Design was what I envisioned. We spent six hours, brainstorming and drawing. The designer took our idea, designed it and then showed us how to improve it and make it work. The entire process was professional. Commissioning the work and getting to be part of the process from the concept, the sawing and chiseling, to erection gave our family a sense of ownership. Our monument feels like a sacred place.Thank you Memorial Design.

They received my $3000 deposit and they never called me back after two dozen phone calls I made to them just for a update from them. Please go somewhere else for custom carvings.

We traveled from our home in upstate New York to spend a weekend at the Memorial Design studio to design and commision our family mausoleum. The design session was the most amazing experience for our family. The cinerarium they designed is beautiful and is a source of pride for our entire family.
