My first experience with the need for hearing aids turned out to be very pleasant. Upon entering the office, Jennifer greeted me. She was very professional, and friendly. Jennifer announced my arrival, and Lori came out of her office to greet me. Lori was very pleasant and professional. After my hearing test, Lori discussed with me in detail the results. She was very thorough, and I felt like I understood my hearing issues. I was impressed with how knowledgeable Lori was from beginning to end of the testing and adjustment process. There was absolutely no pressure on me to purchase hearing aids. I did feel that Lori had a genuine concern for my well being, and desire to resolve my hearing issues. After my purchase, Jennifer set up the link between my cell phone and the hearing aides. Most helpful.

After much research and looking at Google reviews, we decided to bring our father to Miracle Ear in West Columbia, SC. We are so very glad we did. Lori is so patient, funny, and genuine. She took her time and went over my father’s audiogram in detail. Until today, I had no clue turning volume louder actually makes speech more difficult to understand. We were allowed to try the hearing aids in the office. Lori even walked us outside so we could test them with background noise. We are so excited about returning Wednesday to pick up our dad’s new “ears”! On our way home he said, “Maybe I will start going more places. I won’t feel so embarrassed anymore.”

She took all the test in the office that day and called me on the way home from her first appointment. When I answered she promptly said, “you don’t have to talk so loud!” I said, “you must have gotten hearing aids today.” She was so happy to hear clearly again.I went with her for her second appointment and Lori was very professional and informative with me as I asked many questions. I have had hearing aids for about 4 years. COVID masking requirements made me increasingly frustrated because I could not read lips—and often flipped my hearing aids off while removing my mask. I was interested in an aid that fits completely in the ear. After being given a complete hearing test and an explanation of the differences among the types of aids available from Miracle-Ear, I accepted a trial of the top-of-the-line model. After wearing them for about a week, I decided not to purchase at this time because the improvements over my current model were not enough to justify the expenditure. However, the entire experience has convinced me that if/when I feel the need to get new aids, I will return to Miracle-Ear. The services and explanations were superb. When I said I had decided not to buy at this time, my decision was accepted respectfully with no attempt to change my mind.
