Pelonis is a wonderful company! Got their room air conditioner on the hottest day and it cooled me off fine. Worth the money too, not expensive at all. Menards should keep them as a regular shelf item.

Decent store well kept with what seems like everything under the sun. Fairly easy to navigate the store but if you dont know the place it can be a little confusing. My only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is it can be difficult to get help from an empoyee if you dont go hunting them down. Once you do find someone for the most be part they are very nice and helpful. Very knowledgeable staff as far as knowing there department. Ive been shopping here for years and will continue to do so. Their prices are hard to beat on some things.

Nice store, I was out of state so I ordered some things online, it arrived and one piece is broken. Cant find anywhere to actually call or email anyone, you can only hit return and then pay for boxing and shipping back to them which costs more than the piece that go broken. Would be nice if you actually had a customer service you can contact but great way to do business, once something ships make it impossible for the customer to complain!

Very unprofessional customer service. I purchased flooring over the phone. I was told to pick up my receipt at the rebate counter. The gal couldnt find it. After searching for it a few mins left us standing there to help someone else with a propane exchange and didnt say a word about anything after a waiting again another lady said she was management kimmy came and I at this was very upset not shouting or yelling but upset I was just left standing wondering were my receipt was so I could leave. I voiced my situation to her that we were just left standing there. She said we were waiting on her. She got my receipt and I grabbed it. She told me to not come back. Not a problem.

Horrible experience at Menards today saw an on sale product and went to buy it but it rung up as the original price, no big deal we go to show them where it was and the price it was listed at and then they start taking of the price card which is clearly for that product and claiming it’s wrong and that price underneath that price card was the correct one. Using false advertising on shelve products is low

Always a good experience at this Menards. I had to exchange a faulty light fixture I purchased a couple weeks ago.I didnt have my receipt or the box it came in but I was given no problem at all.Theres usually a line at returns but dont let that discourage you. They move people through amazingly fast.

So many bad experiences lately. I’m not going to write a novel. I’ve been lied to by front end associates on pricing and returns. Called him out and he got defensive returned my items abs wouldn’t explain why he lied about the price I was to get without a receipt. Separate occasion, Store manager told me one thing on price matching then back tracked on a price match and declined to price match Home Depot claiming it was below their cost. Witnessed two employees in the yard sit on a stack of lumber while I loaded all my lumber. Never asked if I needed help, nothing. Took me an hour to load everything and they literally did nothing in that hour. This took place 7/7/21 from 7:30pm to 8:30pm.

The people were very helpful from the guy in lawn tractor batteries to forklift driver who helped me load my trailer with bags of rock.

Our favorite place to shop... I love everything about Menards, EXCEPT their parking lot! How can a building store have spaces that arent even big enough for their car driving customers, yet alone their TRUCK DRIVING customers buying BUILDING supplies? I always end up being That Guy taking two spaces so I can get OUT of my truck and NOT have a million door dings!.

Its honestly a great place to shop! My husband and I are here a lot for his business and home projects. We even get a lot of our groceries here too! Plus, when theyre running the 11% rebate, its hard to beat!

Don’t use the online ordering system! Be prepared to have to walk through the entire store getting attitude the entire way. Then they ask you to walk all the way to the front and through the registers where they are shocked you already paid. So after your mile long walk it would’ve saved you time to just walk in and buy your own stuff. Never coming back.

One of the guys here went the EXTRA MILE, went through a pallet of receiving goods to find what I needed and save me a trip to a different store. Kudos to management. Enjoyed my visit and got everything I needed.

They didnt have the fake wood folding tables I was looking for. But I got a pegboard, air fittings and a garbage can though their selection on garbage cans was minimal that being said overall more wins than loses. The employees were helpful so a nice place to shop

This is the worst hardware store in Fargo. Good luck trying to find someone to help you, but they sure can bother you about wearing a mask at the front door.

I did gone go to Menards to have someone make some copies of a key that keeps disappearing and they had a great little DIY machine. Wonderful experience!

Went in to the store and had been walking around for a while. Worker came up to me and ask me of I had a mask and I said no. He said I needed one. I explained to him that I had CFS and could not wear one, and they removed the mask mandate in the state and the city. He said I needed one anyway. We left, went to Lowes and no issues. The workers were extremely friendly to us!

Menards is very clean and has a lot of things stocked without heavy pricing. However, I would watch your clearance prices. Look at the under tickets to see if it really is a great sale.Christmas is out and Halloween knocked down. Some great finds in both areas!!

This place has such selection! Found exactly what I needed!

Always spend too much time here, such a big selection. Have limited brand selection of tools, just carry less expensive products. Lumber quality is average but you can definitely sort though and find the best ones. Have large number of staff who are usually close by and very helpful. Be care with prices, always by during the 11% rebate which usually occurs once a month.

Nice staff at the yard entrance. Crowded inside, but it was Saturday at 1:00, so that was on me.

Got chased down by 3 people, product taken out of my hand, told I couldnt purchase from them without a mask. They made a humiliating scene at the check out! I went next door where I was greeted, helped and checked out. All without a mask!

Never had such poor customer service as at this particular Menards. Treated rudely by employee and asked to see manager. He was no help and not at all professional or sympatheticAfter calling prior to our trip in order to be sure to pick up what was in store only to be told that oops, I misunderstood you on the phone no we dont have them on house. Nothing we can do for you.....well never shop Fargo Menards again.

Menards is a Midwest icon. I could be wrong but I don’t think they are in other areas in the country. It is like California’s version of Home Depo or Lowe’s. The store is very large and has everything imaginable for your home home. You can even order a house if you have land to put it on. The prices are very competitive. There is almost always an 11% off everything sale. The 11% is given in the form of a rebate check, which all you have to do is mail in the end portion of your receipt with a small form and then a check will come for you to use next time you shop there. We were able to buy laminate flooring for a large 20’x25’ living room all with rebate checks. Menards has everything from cleaning supplies, candy, groceries to building supplies. They have a large garden center and building supply yard. Weekends are crazy busy and the parking spots fill up quick. Those who drive pickups or work trucks will find they need to take up more than one spot cuz those lines are made more for compact cars. Employees are helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The quirky and age old advertising jingle “Save Big Money at Menards” will probably be stuck in your head for a while after going there.

I love Menard because of the variety of their stock. Sugar Babys and giant bags of peanuts to tools and Giant tool boxs they have everything.

Best thing about this Menards is theres a Lowes nearby.

Try exchanging a tub and waste 2 hours. Customer service is a joke there.

Menards may not have the outright best prices, but their sales and rebates make up for it. Additionally, their staff is much more friendly and courteous than other big name hardware places. Perhaps my favorite aspect is they are a relatively local company.

Was in the store less than 5min to get wood smoke pellets. As I was going through the check out a sales associate came up to me saying they had a customer tell them I pocketed something. Literally emptied my pockets in front of them with my keys and phone. Complete BS, I wasnt in there for enough time for anyone to say anything to anyone. Never shopping here again.

I shop at Menards for all our home needs...but they just lost a good customer. I was followed in with my 8 year old. I am masked up but he cannot be. Mask nazis work here, an employee had us leave because my son cant wear a mask. #10yearsoldandoverforND #HesEight #MedicallyExempt

If youre getting ready for any project Menards is the place to go, the ones that have helped me at Menards were very knowledgeable of where the things I was looking for and were able to give me ideas of things I have not thought of to fix what I needed, but do yourself a favor, if you are looking for something of size bring a tape measure and measurements of what you need, also if you can bring the item of which you need to replace, pictures are helpful also. I have made the mistake of not doing one or several of these things in the past and have ended up making several trips with no fault of theirs LOL.

It was my first time in this Menards because we live east of town and normally use Moorhead.... The customer service at this Menards was OUTSTANDING!! The guys in the yard helped me find and load lumber... Whenever I looked lost someone offered to help... And the pickup staff inside were super friendly. 5 star customer service for sure!!

Great deals! Our go-to for home improvement and upkeep. The Fargo Menards parking lot NEEDS the parking spaces redone so they are wide enough to park a vehicle in AND be able to get in and out of it. How am I supposed to put my 2 year old in the carseat, when there is not enough clearance between the vehicles? The Moorhead location does not seem to have a problem with correct parking lot spacing. Maybe they need to invest in a tape measure? Just a suggestion.

Are you going to charge me the 25% restocking fee and put them out on the floor as SKU 4045600?Can you tell me why Model # JW1438-00981 is listed under Standard sizes if it is special order? Should you not say this is a special order on the website when a customer makes an order?Can you tell me why your system does not give the delivery date when you make the order? If I would have known you could not make the date I needed the windows, I would not have ordered the windows at all. When I first got the date I requested to cancel my order but your system wouldnt let me.Now you want me to pay a 25% restocking fee.Unhappy Customer.

Although I shop here constantly for the company I work for there are a few things that bother me. The first which is that instead of giving an 11 percent rebate to entice people to come in is to just lower the price. As we all know that a rebate is betting on the fact one takes the time to have to fill out, mail, stamp and wait is something very annoying and most people dont do it so Mernards banks on that. Por form.The other is, it at most times is very hard to find help. Dont get me wrong once you find somebody to help they are very friendly and willing.The fact that they put the contractors help section in the back is just unbelievably horrible unless you like to walk for a mile to get something what you need.

There is usually someone around the corner to help. But if you go in the evenings or Saturday, the young kids working tend to hide or walk the other way when someone needs help. But if you find someone that looks like he might be about the same age as your dad...he wont hesitate to walk you clear across the store to a different department, that he doesnt work in, and find your item lickety split. And then ask you what else is on your list. Talk about his grands, which hammers are best, the weather...you know, grandpa stuff. The old lady checker in aisle 7 is crabby. Youve been warned.

Very busy place. Associates pleasant and efficient. Parking places are too narrow This is a home improvement store where people come with utility vehicles large pick ups and trucks do not appreciate door dings here because of narrow parking

Online orders mean nothing. Drove a good distance, thinking theyd have it prepped and ready. Not only did I have to pull it... they did not have close to the number of items they said they did on the website. Poor service, and most of what was there was broken.

Their sales need some work! We went to buy a battery for our riding lawnmower it said they were on sale however the sale price was the same as the original price.

The menards in Fargo is usually pretty good. I used to work in the yard at the store in North Platte, so I usually go here vs. other stores just from familiarity. When shopping for brand name tools, I like DeWalt which Menards doesnt carry, so will take business elsewhere for those sorts of things.

Visited for question on my garage package I bought from them. Construction desk crew was great to answer. Thank you. Still dont like the rebate system. Just give me a good price. Dont make me keep track of receipts, stamp to hand mail, forms to fill out and a 6 week wait for a rebate slip. Just a bunch of bull, sorry.

Customer service at the store was 5/5. Had a pallet of pavers delivered to my house this morning and the driver was very rude insteading of calling my phone to let me know he is outside around 7:15 am he pounds on my door very obnoxiously and when I ask why he was pounding on my door like that waking up everyone he responds with why did you have it delivered on a Saturday and that he should be home with his family. You chose your own job don’t take your anger about working on a weekend out on customers.

We were able to find our items fast and got out quickly.

Very disappointed tonight. Stopped by Menards to pick up some insulation for my garage that I had paid for about a year ago. Turns out when I picked up the 2x4s also on the pick ticket, the gate guard noted I had picked up everything. This was not the case... I did not pick up the insulation. The GM told me that since I signed for it, there was nothing he could do. Said it was past the time to verify on the cameras, therefore he couldnt prove it. So Im stuck with no insulation after paying $180 for it. I buy a pretty decent amount of stuff from Menards. Not sure I can buy there anymore not knowing if I will get what I pay for that I cant pickup in one trip or that day. Pretty frustrated, cant honestly say I have ever had a bad experience from Menards before this, so it really caught me off guard.

Menards isnt my go to store. However, it is clean, well stocked, and has generally friendly and helpful staff. A big frustration is the location where they keep plants, pavers, and sand does not have an outside entrance. You have to drag your stuff through the store.

I heard Menards had good soil so I bought it for the first time. WHAT A DISSAPPOINTMENT! It was full of wood chips. No wonder my stuff wouldnt grow. NEVERAGAIN!.

Generally helpful and friendly staff as well as what I believe is the best combination of quality products, good selection and competitive prices among the major home improvement stores.

Started towards the door only to see a big sign stating No children under 16... Eat a d!@%, Menards, not everyone has the option of leaving their children at home. Never shopping there again; Lowes is better anyways.

Normally I dont go to Menards. What I needed was there. What really impressed me was the knowledge and helpfulness of the guy I had to deal with. I may have to reconsider my reluctance to Menards.

As of Monday July 13th. I will not be shopping at Menards any longer due to the requirements of wearing a mask. I get tested weekly so I will not have covid 19 and I do not believe at all that anyone will contract covid 19 shopping there if they practice social distancing. Its a personal choice to wear a mask at a retail store. If you are scared of catching covid 19 because of others not wearing a mask then you dont have to shop there. I spend a lot of money there and will not go there until they change their policy again
