Not many vegetarian options but we had a good meal here. We each had an excellent vegetarian florentine sandwich - it was packed with flavor and even the bread was tasty and had a nice, soft airy consistency. The battered onion rings were not spectacular (I could tell they were not right out of the fryer) but they were very good. We also had two good dark beers - a porter and a stout. Service was a tad slow but the food was worth waiting for. Staff were friendly and professional. Note that I asked whether the price is reduced if you order the spinach pecan (entree) salad without the chicken - I was told they would lower it less than $2 (I dont remember the precise amount). So I skipped it. Really they should price the salads without meat and charge a fee for adding it.
Nice atmosphere. We sat at the bar and the bar tender/our server was quick to take our drink orders. The drinks came back fast and we ordered food. Our food came quickly and was very good. Weve been to Ireland and the food we ordered was pretty spot on as far as trying to be authentic. I would definitely go back.
Wish I had visited this place years ago! Havent had great Irish food like this since I was a child in California. The bread roll was fresh. My shepherds pie bowl was delicious. 😋 My husband had steak with veggies and potatoes. Veggies have to be really extraordinarily good in order for him to like them. He loved the veggies here. And he said his steak was perfect. We sat in an alcove upstairs from the bar. It was quiet and romantic. I had an iced Irish coffee and it was really very good also. Highly recommend this place. If you havent gone, you are missing out.
Good food, and atmosphere. I’ll add to this review that my fiancé would give the place 5 stars.I ordered the corned beef and cabbage. a classic dish. it was good. My complaint is the inaccuracy of the menu. The corned beef is very sweet. (actually everything was, the butter, the cabbage, everything)it tastes like it has a beer glazed over it in the cooking process. not a bad flavor, just not what i was expecting. I dont prefer things cooked in alcohol bases (such as a burbon BBQ for example) so had the menu made mention of this fact I would never have ordered it. At $20 i think its only fair the menu mention that this dish wont have a traditional flavor. We also had the stew which was delicious. Also sweet and cooked in beer, but that was clearly listed on the menu so that was expexted.
Only went there because the rating was so high (4.6). The worst food Ive ever had. Cant over those soggy sausages and bland gravy. Somebody must really like that kind of food (I am still puzzled by such high ratings. I had higher expectations from Fargoans). Service was good though.
Excellent fish and chips. Light breading. Firm cod. Very attentive wait staff. The bread pudding was the bomb. Save room for it. Looking forward for return trip. Manager checking bar glasses for lip prints. Id love to come and party here.
Went here for brunch after a wedding and they had the perfect pick me up food. Their brunch options were incredible. I went with the breakfast sandwich which was huge and delicious. The Parmesan has browns were absolutely a must have. The outdoor patio was really nice but would’ve been helpful to have an umbrella as the sun was a bit brutal. Love that my brunch came with a mimosa as well. You can’t beat these prices!
Great choice of drinks. Great atmosphere. Only problem was one side of the bar was very warm and the other side was very cold. No happy medium. Had to wear my jacket while we drank.
Blarney Stone is a nice little place with lots of seating inside and out. You do not go here to eat healthy. You go here for rich comfort food that comes with a side of onion gravy. Get the Dublin Dip with your waffle fries.
The food and drinks were great my only complaint was that we had a larger group and I tried to call a few days ahead and they told me first come first serve so the day of I called about 30 min ahead of time just so they could prepare a spot and we were given 2 tables on opposite sides of the room it was a get together for family that all lives in different states and we had the opportunity to all be in the same place for a couple hours. The only alternative to the split seating was to rent a room for $50 or order $500 in food and drinks. There were only 13 of us so we just ended up squishing around one of the tables and pulling in extra chairs.
Tonight was my first time at The Blarney Stone and it did not disappoint. Upon walking in you are transported to another place. The architecture and design are wonderful. Everything gives it that authentic pub look and feel. The bar itself looks great, with all the brick and wood. Not to mention the generous tap selection. The menu also has a lot to offer, although be sure to pack a magnifying glass because the font size was pretty small. But the menu had some great things to choose from along with some Irish classics. The prices are what you would expect from a pub, a little higher but not terribly outrageous. But the food itself spoke volumes. Delicious and full of flavor. Savory and well seasoned. A couple of the burgers that were ordered were undercooked, which was disappointing, but the restaurant made sure to remedy the issue. And they did discount the tab because of it, which was appreciated. One member of the party didnt even care that it was undercooked and just ate the whole thing because she thought it tasted that good. The one issue with evening was the service. We originally had two servers that didnt seem to have the best attitude or attentiveness, but I think that was due to them being cut and going home soon as they transferred our table to a different server who delivered better service. Not an excuse, but its what I imagine the case to be. Other than that a great place, it was a little quite in the bar, but the patio was lively and looked like a fun, exciting atmosphere to be in. The bar didnt seem to follow any of the CDC guidelines for social distancing or anything else, but they might have been using one time use menus. But, as I mentioned, fun place, great food. Worth a stop in.
The food is always great. Ive never had a bad experience. The only improvement I would suggest is to get away from wood chairs without padding. Oh... and the bread pudding is amazing deep fried as they currently do it or their old way of baking it (which is my personal favorite and you can still request it to be made that way).
Way better options in the pub/grill area. Food was just ok at best. Id go to luckys 13 or sickies garage over blarneys any day of the week. You guys got me once out of curiosity but it will be the last.
We went here for the first time today to try out their Breakfast special-where on weekends you get a free drink with a breakfast entree. Drinks and food were amazing! The waitress was very attentive and polite. To comment on other reviews, I didn’t think the food was super expensive but I’d agree that any inflated price could definitely reflect the quality of the food and service. I’d also agree that they should get away from unpadded wooden seating, it was uncomfortable. Otherwise everything was great and we will definitely be back:))
Great food and beer selection. Shahin, was awesome. very knowledgeable and great waiter for a first time experience. He made awesome recommendations.
Love the atmosphere here. Wings are good, salads can be a bit over dressed. Beer good and cold. (If you like that sort of thing). Good beer selection.
Im not sure but they might have the biggest liquor selection in town they have more than enough and there pasta dishes are awesome
I had a very great experience today. My waiters name was Matt and he was always checking on our table and making sure our drinks were filled!
One of my favorite Irish restaurants in Fargo. The food is always great and the staff are friendly. Oh, and the Beer is icy cold. Its a great place to chat or watch a game as they always have sports on.
Awesome atmosphere. Good salad! Good hot adult beverage! 😉
I love the burgers here! Their cheese is amazing. It was a bit loud but its a pub, thats how its supposed to be! Definitely would eat here again.
The Blarney Stone Pub is excellent. Incredibly far above average place for food and drink. When you expect a pub at 10:00 p.m. on a Friday night you do not expect this. Their chicken sandwich with dragon sauce, cheese, and bacon should have been adequate. It was memorable. The wild rice side was so good I texted my mother about it. Our table also got the veggie sandwich and said google reviews needed to add more stars because she was offended at its brilliance and they deserve more credit. The beer list was adequate with local options and the cocktails were poured well. Service was kind and efficient. We were shocked at how quickly the food came. The only drawback for me is they have a few televisions. They were showing local baseball and they were limited so they didn’t overpower the room.
Great Irish pub. Foods amazing. Also have alot of draft beers to chose from.
Fantastic food and a great selection of drinks. A bit pricey, but the taste is worth it. The mussel is a personal favorite for an appetizer, and you cant go wrong with their sandwiches.
Second time eating there last night. First time was amazing, last night was OUTSTANDING!!amazing food cooked hot, fresh and very filling menu optionsWill definitely be going back again for a great variety of Irish foods and the great beer/drink selections
Fish and chips were delicious! The ale and cheddar soup is really good too! Friendly staff!
Looking for a CHILLAXIN TIME? Come to Blarneys! This is where you get Good food, good vibes, and Great service! Definitely one on my top 5!
My husband and I were traveling through Fargo with our daughter and on our way to Fargo I stumbled across the Blarney Stone Pub and was very excited to try it out.We arrived, and there was no hostess, which was very frustrating as we had to walk through the whole restaurant looking for a place to sit. We wanted to sit out on the patio so we headed out that way to see if there was seating and was informed that the patio was 21+ only. Frustrating. We went back inside and a waitress pointed out that there was 2 hightops free and we could sit in either of those. We had an 11 month old infant who could not sit in a high top so we ended up just leaving as it seemed that the restaurant was quite disorganized.I was very disappointed as the menu and food looked great online. If they had a hostess for a busy Friday night, I am sure all of this could have been avoided and we may have ended up having a good time.
Good place to grab food and a good draft beer. I had their pickled egg and was very happy with it, their side salad with blue cheese dressing which was very good and an order of bangers and mash with the baked beans. The bangers were good as was the mash but the beans...WOW some of the best I’ve had. I recommend you give this place a try when in Fargo
May the roof above us never fall in. And may the friends gathered below it never fall out. Always a good time at the Blarney
Meh. Went tonight with friends. We are visiting from the twin cities. The corned beef was dry and my wifes corned beef and cabbage came with cole slaw instead of cabbage. My friend ordered mashed potatoes and gravy he got waffle fries and gravy. Noisy. Mostly high tops. Would not return
Great great food. Really cool restaurant. Great service as well. We had a waitress who was quick and also didn’t mind joking with the table.
Great food as always. Great service too
Great place, good food. The waitress was really good and when they had mix ups with our order, she immediately corrected it! They have a bloody mary and mimosa bar that was fairly complex with lots of options! The food was good and I wish I could remember how I ordered what I did but it was good! You can see the pictures below! The ambiance was great and you can see that in the pictures as well.
First time tried Knophla! In an Irish Pub!Good eats and drinks!
Food and service were great! My only concern was when they opened the garage doors it got a little bit chilly and breezy. I wish they had asked first but it was still a great experience!
This place is amazing! It was our first time, the place is beautiful, the beer and food are delicious and our server, Sarah, was amazing! We sat upstairs and she was running around like crazy but she always had a smile on her face and was super attentive. Will definitely be coming back!
Great atmosphere and service. Food is always fantastic, as are the drinks.
We wound up sitting upstairs in a “private” booth a few weeks ago when social distancing was more of an issue. We didn’t care where we sat, but assumed being out in the middle of nowhere we would have terrible service. Wow were we wrong! Amazing service and food! Highly recommended!
We frequent the Blarney Stone when in Fargo for work. Great food and service, we were recently in with a lively group and our server (Anna/Ana) was incredible.
Waited 10 minutes and no crowd and wait staff was too busy talking and ignoring everyone.
Good food. Go here every time I stay in Fargo. Service is ok at the bar. I had a hair in my ranch and requested another. Bartender charged me for both and I didn’t catch it until after I left. I’ll be back but hospitality could be improved. Thanks
My friend and I attended the Bob Seger concert, then wanted a bite to eat before going to bed. This pub was right across the street from our hotel, so we gave it a try. We arrived too late to order off the menu, but just in time for appetizers. Both of our appetizers were varieties of waffle fries. I dont care for waffle fries, but at a quarter to midnight, almost anything is good. The food was plentiful and fair priced. The service was fast and friendly.
What an amazing dinner with my mom and daughter ! Definitely on the do again list !!
Food is good, servers are great, place is clean but the music is too loud, fast and generally annoying while you are trying to enjoy your meal. We found ourselves eating too fast keeping up with the music.
Always such a great food and service experience. Bloody Mary was amazing and the authentic food was fabulous!
Great food and service. Fun atmosphere with outdoor seating. Highly recommended!
We had been driving a lot, so after we checked into our hotel, we were happy to have a restaurant to walk to. My brother got delicious beef barley soup and a steak sandwich. I decided to just have dessert of bread pudding with ice cream and 2 delicious sauces, one with Jamisons. Mmmm! Definitely save room, or share.
Great service. Great food. Fun atmosphere.
You can never go wrong with Irish nachos and dirty bangers but the corned beef was delicious as well. Weve yet to have a bad experience here. The prices reflect the quality of food and the service is always good as well.
Nice week night out, talking real-estate deals and what not. Enjoyed the appetiters, salad and burgers! The spicy chicken lettuce boats were amazing. And really loved the chicken strawberry walnut salad! The Dubliner burger was also amazing. It was cooked perfectly and tasted great! Overall good prices on happy hour and great food!
Wow! The food was incredible, the bloody Mary and mimosa bar was a dream come true, and our waitress was an angel! We sat on the bar side with the doors open and summer sun shining in. It was heavenly! I ordered the eggs benedict and asked for fries but got the cheesey hash brown. I still got the fries, so had a chance to eat it all. Deeeee. Licious. My mouth is watering at the memory. Best bloody bar Ive ever been to, hands down.
Staff lied about the specials. We ordered appetizer and dinner they both showed up at the some time. Staff checked on us a couple times during meal to try to deliver drinks we didnt order brought us the bill and tried to get us to buy the drinks we didnt order. May be a long while before we go back.
I love their Shephards pie!
Great service, food, and drinks!Everytime Ive visited, Ive had great service. The servers are friendly, knowledgeable, and very skilled. The food is excellent and the variety of beers and Irish-themed beverages provides a lot of options that allow you to continue to try new things! The pictures are of the Rosemary & Garlic Sirloin with loaded champs potatoes!
Had the traditional Irish breakfast, with hash browns. More than enough to eat and excellent all around. The Bloody Mary I had with it was adequate.
The clam chowder was delicious! The reuben was one of the best Ive ever had! But, my favorite dish is the bacon macaroni and cheese! They have a beer for every taste!
My waitress, Harley I believed, was so amazing. She was fast and very nice and considerate!
The beef and barley soup taste just like Campbells Soup, but they added chopped tomatoes to it. I was hoping for a hearty soup. But no.
Very good food. Waitress could have been more attentive.
My server was named Taylor and he was really awesome. My table was a GIANT table and he handled it very well. The food and drinks were soooo good. It was first time here but I plan on coming back to get way drunk and eat the chocolate cake type dessert they have.
Nice place, but service was a bit intermittent. Food for my friends was good, but my banger and mash was very ordinary. Not sure how my meal could have been improved on. Maybe Ill order something else next time.
Blarney stone is a place to go if you want to have a good time. The food is amazing and the drinks are better. Its an Irish pub through and through
Great place to eat... my steak was prepared to perfection... highly reccomend... dont forget the bread pudding for dessert
Fish and chips are amazing..Their fries are the best with tartar sauce.OKC
O... M... G... The best comfort food Ive experienced in many years! 😋
Great beer selection and good atmosphere for its location out at the edge of Fargo.
Great food, atmosphere, price, and service!
Absolutely one of my favorite places to frequent!!! Superb staff! Welcoming, genuine, prompt, courteous, professional, engaging!! The food is top notch! Homemade recipes with delicious flavors and perfect textures! The Reuben has corned beef that looks like beef! Tastes like it should! Thick, wholesome soups! Great prices!
This place is amazing! It was our first time, the place is beautiful, the beer and food are delicious and our server, Sarah, was amazing! We sat upstairs and she was running around like crazy but she always had a smile on her face and was super attentive. Will definitely be coming back!
Excellent ate next 3 meals there going back this weekend!
Delicious bangers and mash. Generous portions.
Always great food and wonderful beer selection.
Waffle fries, hot wings and hefenweize beer.
Nice place. They had some interesting Hawaiian beer. In North Dakota! Go figure.
One of the best bbq sauces I’ve had. Very friendly service and clean establishment.
First time here a few weeks ago. Had their Sunday brunch and it was great. Went with some friends who had been here before. I ordered what one of them had because I wasnt sure what to get. We will be returning thats for sure.
The food was great and the service was good. They were very accommodating
