Pretty good. The lox cream cheese missed the punch. I will try other cream cheese at a later date

I really wanted to like this place but all of our food was bad and the service was worse. Staff refused to acknowledge our presence. Then we saw our eggs come out of the microwave for our egg and cheese bagel. Cheese was not melted and bagel was chewy. We also got a Reuben, which can out of the microwave too. The Reuben was served on a white roll instead of Rye bread and the roll was soggy due to the watery sweet cole slaw out of the tub.

Good bagel, but the lox sandwich was lacking in lox.

Love this place. Bagels are always amazing, service is always friendly, and no matter what Ive gotten there, it has been absolutely incredible. One of the few 5 stars I have given on here.

Really love this place! A great selection of bagels and spreads, staff is friendly and attentive. They can get very busy, but they ensure that you are taken care of quickly.

Come here often for a bacon egg and cheese on a bagel. So many bagel options and all are delicious. The staff is very nice too and even with a large line they get the orders out fast.

I’m writing to inform of an extremely disappointing incident that occurred last Sun at the West Hartford location. I’ve been going to this location for several years. To this point, the staff overall has been very professional and courteous (not easy considering how busy it is on the weekends especially). Last weekend, however, I was literally yelled at by one of the employees, indicating that I wasn’t in the correct area of the restaurant for ordering. There was no line at this time. And I was standing halfway between the counter and the standard ordering area. I may have been off by several feet. However, I see no reason any of the employees should be disrespectful to ANY of the customers. Suffice to say, they have lost a very loyal customer.

Love the Veggies Cream Cheese spread. Lox is the best outside NYC.

Ive been a loyal customer for many years. On Mothers Day, our pre-ordered, pre=sliced 2 dozen bagel order came with an EXTRA FRIEND. A fly/wasp was baked into the edge/outside a whole wheat bagel. Noticed it before we took a bit, thankfully. Two wings, eyes, and head - in all its glory.I figured, oh well, things happen sometimes. I called the store three times for the owner/manager. Spoke with a number of nice, friendly staff, one of whom was a supervisor. Over the course of three days, three calls. Not one phone call in return. The friendly supervisor had asked me what one of the calls was in reference to...and I told her about the insect in my bagel. She wasnt phased. (YIKES). I explained I wasnt looking for any compensation or even a free dozen (no thanks!). I just thought the owner/manager would want to know, as a business owner.I guess I was wrong. NEVER AGAIN EATING ANYTHING FROM HERE. Its more about the lack of customer service than it is about how a fly/wasp was in my bagel. I guess they dont care.....and sounds like perhaps this isnt the first time.....maybe this is a common occurrence. Since they dont seem interested in how to keep this from happening again, I thought customers or future customers would want to know. Or maybe a new name would be appropriate - Lox, Stock, and FLY/WASP.

Very inconsiderate employees. Really mean and very selfish. Really bad experience.

First visit here. I got the lox special and it was delicious! The bagel was very fresh. Also got the pumpkin spice iced coffee and it had great flavor (I’m picky about coffee too). Friendly service!!

Bagels are good but in the last 3 times I have been there the same woman has messed up my order each time. Most recently I ordered a dozen bagels wanting plain, sesame, and everything and somehow ended up with poppy seed and cinnamon raisin. Hopefully this doesn’t happen again if I decide to return.

This is THE BEST bagel place. I cannot live without lox stock and bagel. They have the most amazing blueberry bagels. I tried many bagel places, this is always the best among all. Please consider opening a branch in Glastonbury!

Even though this is a chain I like it better than Brookside on the other side of Avon Mountain. Everything is fresh, large selection and they get your order right. The staff is friendly and quick. Unlike Einstein they have real American coffee, not the bitter high acid brew so many places seem to be proud of. I would give them five stars if they cleaned the tables more often.

Every time I go to Lox to buy a bagel, the staff seems disgusted that I even decided to walk through those doors. Very unwelcoming service. They also do not put much care into you bagels or sandwiches. My orders are always a mess or missing something. The prices are too high for the service you get.

EXCELLENT bagels. I can’t speak for their sandwiches (I just buy the bagels and make a sandwich at home), but their everything bagels are the best I’ve found so far.

Terrible unprofessional behavior and service dirty looking store my first time here I ordered ahead only to get there and be informed that they dont have my sandwich and dont know how it keeps getting put up on site so I ordered a different sandwich which I later discovered was not what I ordered and half my order was missing I was overcharged the coleslaw was spoiled and sandwich bread soaked fro. Watery mayonnaise. The staff at the front counter should all be fired nasty rude beh6i watched 1 girl yell at an elderly woman who was talking to quiet so she lowered her mask then got yelled at for that! Ive never seen such horrible customer service Will never come back here and DONT recommend this place to anyone! Brueggers is 10 mins down the street and has excellent customer service and appreciation for their customers

As a former person from Long Island I can tell you these are the only bagels I will eat in CT. Curbside pickup is super efficient and always fast. They always get my order correct and service is great when you go in.

Okay for what it is but the service was better than the bagels. So I know what a New York bagel is supposed to be and this falls short. They were very fresh but lacked the crunch of the boiled bagel. For the area it is good though as there is a scarcity of good bagels in CT.

I loved this bagel place from the time I was a young kid and I still do... I enjoy it so much I even worked there for a short while... its still reasonably priced and definitely the best bagels you can get locally

The bagels are super good, but i have ordered 4 times in the past 3 weeks with no cheese and i have gotten cheese on my sandwich every time. :(

Oh man! Be happy you get bagels from here. So delicious. We took home a few tubs of cream cheese while we were there. Bagels great. Sandwich great. So many to choose from, you might as well get them all. The cleanliness was in question. It gets pretty packed too so get there early.

12/6/19 Friday 3:50pm line was forming and girl was by herself while two other employees watched as customers came. I was greeted by a rude worker who had a problem with customers asking questions. None of the bagels are labeled and she was talking to an elderly gentleman like he was a bother for asking. She said Jesus Christ under her breath multiple times. I left without my order. If you don’t want the business, I’ll go elsewhere.

Love this local place. I go for their flavored decaf iced coffees ( no one else sells them). And I like the atmosphere. Used to love their bagels but I have to skip those now.

Bagels are freash and service is excellent! Breakfast sandwiches of all kinds and a variety of coffee (flavors) available. Shop also provides ample seating to eat, drink & catch up with a friend. Price of bagels isn’t cheap, but the bagels are worth it. My go to breakfast sandwich place!!!!

The everything bagel is the bomb, but seriously, it been over a year and they still have primer paint on some of the walls. Its getting tired and dirty looking, how hard is it to paint the walls and make this place look as good as the bagels taste..... Disappointed in management.

I did not feel welcome, and upon telling the staff that I did not want the chili I was presented with said chili free of charge. It was as good as free chili at a bagel place can be. Only 2 tables had chairs and one gentleman observed me my entire meal.

I love the garden vegetable cream cheese on an everything bagel with a cup of joe, serve yourself at the coffee bar.Always busiest on Sunday, its never a too-long wait. The food is always good. Fresh and tasty. But the cleanliness is set for a disaster, crew members taking trash outside with aprons on and smocking isnt something anyone likes to see.. all the filth from the dumpster and touching their faces is just gross..How about some clean apron when you prep food ???
