Excellent range and shop, everyone who works here is knowledgeable and friendly, highly recommend!

I have been to quite a few gun ranges in Connecticut and Tactical boutique in West Hartford is hands-down the best one by far. The range has state of the art technology giving you so many options to sharpen your skills. Pricing on everything here is great, they have multiple levels of memberships making it affordable for anyone to join. Ammo is fairly priced and is usually available if needed, they have a limit of one or two boxes per visit so everyone can get to shoot. They also have so many different targets you can choose from to sharpen your skills as well and they’re only a dollar. They also have events from time to time bringing manufacturers to the range with great deals on guns and a lot of information. The best part about this place is the customer service. Darin the owner is hands-on and always finding ways to make this place even better every day. Tristan the shop manager is Full of knowledge and always willing to help, great guy !! George the range officer is the best of the best. He has helped me sharpen my skills so much and is just a pleasure to be around. Super friendly guy, very knowledgeable. You can go online and reserve your time which makes it so personal, when I go I’m always the only one there and it makes it feel like they built the range for me. I go here twice a week and look forward to every time. I highly recommend Tactical boutique in West Hartford. Try it once and you will be hooked guaranteed!!

I am new to the CCL world and did a lot of research before deciding where to buy. I needed a place where I felt comfortable to ask beginner questions, felt that my business was appreciated, and could provide more insight than a simple Let me know if your weapon gets jammed when I was practicing. I emailed the Tactical Boutique and their owner, Darin, responded to me. From his first email, he was welcoming and encouraging. I went to visit his store, met a couple of the members from his team, and they each took the time to help me make a purchasing decision. Darin even oiled up my new purchase to help me break it in while I visited his state of the art range. The range itself is inviting. Its size is perfect for someone like myself who wants to practice with few folks around and comfortable to ask questions while feeling as if I am being heard. I enjoyed my experience so much, I became a member of the range and I look forward to sharping my skills and learning more about this new world I just entered. If you are a beginner like me, I highly recommend you reach out to Darin and set-up some time to get a tailored experience to meet your needs.

Darin and Tristan both made me feel very comfortable during the process of learning about firearms. They are patient with questions and have a lot of knowledge between the two. I highly recommend going here for all tactical things. Definitely was worth it.

Stopped by today, and as always the guys were welcoming and knowledgeable. I bought a membership to the range, and it is FANTASTIC. It is a high tech two lane range. One thing to note is that it only goes out to about 30 feet, so while it is amazing for close range tactical training, it wouldn’t be the only firearm range you’d need if you want to go to longer distances or work with rifles (though pcc’s are permitted). Drills and scenarios can be selected right from the lane, working shoot/no shoot as well as timed drills. There is an interactive video based training system (with live fire!) available as well that I’m looking forward to trying out. Ammo was available at pricing as good as anywhere you’re likely to find it during these ammo-shortage days. The RSO was friendly and attentive. Can’t wait to get back!

I stopped in to check The Tactical Boutique out after stumbling upon them on Facebook, and I couldnt have had a better experience. The firearm store itself is small, but very clean, well organized, and with knowledgeable awesome staff. The real fun began when I was told there was a range there, and Jody came up to give me a tour. Jody showed me the dojo that is also a part of the complex, and I was blown away, it is amazing. I am hoping to get my daughter into a BJJ class there asap. Jody took me out to their range, which was one of the most advanced setups I have ever seen. Their setup here is awesome, with low light setting drills and strobes available, as well as projector-led drills coming soon that look amazing. I will for sure be back, and look forward to it. HIGHLY recommended.

Ive been a customer even before the shop officially opened. I had several firearms transfers via their FFL.Ive continued to patronize this shop because the owner is an outstanding individual. Polite, respectful, helpful and friendly. He has hired a gentleman that continues this level of excellence.The shop is on the smaller side, but is well stocked with the more popular brands of firearms, ammo and accessories.Prices are actually good to very good to excellent. Its surprising, because it is a smaller shop. Either way, I would prefer to pay an extra 20 bucks and be treated with respect and in a timely manner.TL;DR: Excellent service, respectful service, very good prices.

Just recently purchased a Beretta PX4 Storm at Tactical Boutique and the customer service here is outstanding. Just heard about this shop, and being local I figured Id ship an item over there for a transfer, as well as take a look at the shop while there. Purchased a firearm from an on line retailer and completed the transfer at the Tactical Bouquet. Small shop, personal service, extremely easy firearms transfer at a very reasonable cost. This is the very first time I used this business and won’t go anywhere else from this point forward.

Darin was really responsive when I asked if I can ship it to his store, replied to my email very quickly and called me when it arrived for pickup. I have had Darins help in purchasing and transferring everything from an original Model 1905 revolver from 1932, to an M&P 9 performance center for amateur USPSA ambitions. No matter what type of firearm I find myself looking for Darin has made the process as easy and cost effective as possible. If you dont see something in stock give him a chance to find it and he will get you an amazing price. They also do FFL transfers and are the cheapest and quickest around. If you have questions theyre happy to answer them, my questions have even gotten responses within 30 mins on a Sunday!For anyone in the Hartford / West Hartford area this place offers a huge convenience to some of the other major stores. Unlike some of those big stores, you will actually get someone who cares and wants to find you something that fits the qualities YOU are looking for, not what theyre trying to push that day. I believe they also offer a bunch of practical classes as well but havent been able to find the time to take one.
