This company is absolutely horrible. First off I was told by my gas company that I signed up with Realgy back in 2015 even though I don’t recall this interaction with them. But reguardleas I haven’t had issues come up until now. My bill this month was 8 times higher than my bill for the same period last year. I’m paying almost $5 per therm even though on their website when I go to look up rates for my zip code it’s telling me I will pay $.32 per therm. I call there customer service number and get no response.I email them and get no response. I’m told by their message to use Live chat on their site. They have no Live chat. I just want some communication.I cannot afford to pay a $385 gas bill when my gas bill for this time is normally in the $60 range.RESPOND TO MEDO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

I feel as though the only way to contact this company is to leave a negative review. I have been trying to contact a representative to cancel service for my senior citizen parents who were taken advantage of. If someone could explain the cancellation process and how much money it requires to do so, I would appreciate it. My next review will be on the BBB website.

Unfortunately had to cancel early because we moved - no fault of Realgy - however they only accept termination payments via mail. In 2021. How much of the younger population has checkbooks? Better have them if you want to do business with Realgy.How about we enter this millennium?

This organization has a total lack of integrity and is dishonest to customers, does not return phone calls nor emails so that it is virtually impossible to cancel the automatic renewal once started.I cannot get any reasonable option to address my concerns. They need to change how they do business and totally restructure customer service since it provides no service and does not care about customers with a focus only upon the company income.

This company is a scam and im paying 3x the amount i was originally paying before the switch and conveniently when you call any and every number they have listed it leads to a dead end mail box making it impossible to cancel. (Yes realgy guy i understand your backed up forever i get that) call back feature doesnt work online chat doesnt work. All I want is to be able to get ahold of someone to cancel. No run around nothing. Horrible customer service. I left emails and voice messages last week and the week before. To anyone else with the same problem request for your old energy service to send you a cancel form in the mail and send it to them.

I have been trying to contact them for 3 days by leaving messages online and with their answering service and sending emails. I have yet to receive a response. i had a confirmed phone call scheduled and never received a call.. My bill was $195 for Feb 21. This is 3x higher than any bill I have paid at this location in the last 20 years. I cant even get a call back to find out why this has happened.

Just got our bill and it triple the amount this month and there is no explanation on what the charges are. We contacted Nicor and they told us that they dont tell them what they charge per rate. They are to show and tell you how much they charge per rate each month.

I actually have great things to say about the teams I’ve seen out going door to door I’m not sure what else the suppliers does but my GAS is way lower then what it has been with my utility. The bad reviews I’m seeing is also ignorance in my opinion . Thanks Realgy for saving me on gas for 2 years !!!

Do not enroll in this program this is 100% a scam. First, the gentleman answered as if he was from my electric company, he then said I could not cancel this switch until I got a verification number, SPOILER ALERT they dont need it and even after that the cancellation number is not a cancellation number and someone who will relay a message to cancel.AVOID AT ALL COSTS. HANG UP THE PHONE.

Was contacted today by someone from this company who told me they worked for my current electric company. Told me multiple times he worked for this company. Indian man named, Allen Walker. He told me I had been overcharged by my current company and was owed 50 dollars in the form of a rebate check. Im ashamed that I gave him my email, current address, and a handful of information about my current company. The entire process was very fishy and I was skeptical the entire time. I eventually asked that everything I told him be disregarded and I did not want any part of what he was offering. He said OK and I hung up. Classic bait and switch, deceitfully attempted to get me to switch provider without even telling me. Be very, very aware.

This company is a complete scam. I would prefer to give this company negative stars if I could. I had a gentleman call misrepresenting himself as though he was from the electric company and then proceed to tell me he was calling to fix an error on my bill. His caller ID even displayed my local electric service. This should be illegal and plan on contacting the BBB so other citizens are not wrongfully manipulated into their unethical business tactics.

We moved in January and were hit with an $80 cancellation fee. I called Realgy, talked to customer service and submitted our new meter number and account number to continue services with Realgy at our new home. I was told everything was all set and we did not need to pay the cancellation fee. We never received another notice in the mail. Now today we got a letter saying we were sent to a collection agency for not paying our Realgy Early Termination Fee!!!! We were told that our Realgy account was not canceled because I submitted our new meter number and account information. So beyond frustrated with this company. We feel we were scammed. I will be calling tomorrow morning and they better fix their mistake.

Zero rating. They are a big scam, these people keep calling you forever. They say that they are offering 30% discount. They hired some scammers from India who make these calls day and night using IP phone numbers. If we ask for more details of the company, then they cut the call. Stay away from them.

Do not use Realgy! They are scammers and have predatory business practices. They talked me into thinking I was getting a better deal it isnt.. then called me a few weeks later and told me I had to change my account because someone is going around selling fake accounts with wrong prices or something which was confusing in itself. How is someone in your company selling fake accounts but still employed by you?!Anyway they told me I need to cancel my account now and start a new one it sounded like a fake call the person was so unprofessional and rude so I hung up. So then they cancelled my (fake) account for me and charged me a cancellation fee.I wouldnt pay it because I never agreed to back out of my contract they did that for me. So now they sent 65 dollars to collections. They need to be reported and investigated by the Better Business Bureau.

My experience has been totally bullshit.They deal with shady vendors that dont pay their employees through Excel Networks,Justin Patton/Loyalty Marketing/is a crackhead that refuses to pay and now we have to handle this through the labor board.Christine Best representing Excel Marketing has sent pay reports with no pay.Just a bunch of promises with no result or pay.THEY ARE NOT TO BE TRUSTED OR DEALT WITH.I ADVISE NOBODY TO WORK WITH THEM. Company is a SCAMThis company contacted me by telephone and stated they could save me money on my monthly natural gas bill. After a brief telephone conversation I was signed up for a two year contract, with no other steps required. What they fail to properly inform you is you will from that time forward continue to pay a monthly service fee to your standard gas provider, but will also pay additional monthly service feed to this company.In the end the amount per unit of gas that you use monthly is slightly cheaper. The problem is that if you use minimal amounts of gas every month, then these additional service fees result in increased annual costs. For the past two years my annual gas budget averaged 30% higher than the two previous years before contracting with this company.I realize many factors such as weather and gas rates are at play when determining annual gas usage and costs, but it doesn’t take a ph D in economics with an emphasis on market analysis to figure out this is not a savings regardless of what factors Considered.There are many other issues that bring into question the legitimacy of this company. Their customer service is an absolute joke. When you call during business hours the only person that answers the phone is an answering service. You then leave your name and information and someone will call you back at an unspecified time.This in itself is ridiculous for any company trying to pass itself off as reputable. What makes things even worse is when they do call back, if you do not answer that one time they do not call back. You then you have to start this entire process over starting with going through the answering service. The common response they give for reaching an answering service is all operators were busy at that time. After calling many times and dealing with this issue every time, I can only be led to think either there is always a lot of people calling to complain and maybe they need to hire more customer service personnel or this is just another bit of misinformation being spread by the company.They also reply to this issue with the fact that you can set up a call back via their website, with one option even allowing you to set a specific time. I never tried either of these methods but I can only imagine these would result in the same out come, one attempted call back and no more. Even with a specific time set up for a call back, there are a whole lot more important aspects of my life that come up daily which would take precedence over awaiting a call back from a gas company.Besides poor customer service they also have questionable policies. As stated earlier, my contract was instituted over the telephone, with no other contact. When it comes time to cancel this same contract, a simple phone call is now not sufficient to accomplish this task. You now have to also follow up this call with an email providing them the exact same information you provided them during the call.This additional step, albeit not a difficult task, doesn’t make any sense. It is simply something they set as their policy in hopes that you will make a mistake, which is what happened to me. When your email does not arrive in the time frame set by their policy then your contract is automatically renewed and you are trapped in continuing paying them for a useless service.Just for my knowledge I looked through my paperwork to see what exact policies were set forth in this contract. Needless to say I was not surprised to find out the one paper this company ever sent me did not actually list out these policies. So I went on line and looked on their website. Big surprise, not listed anywhere on the website either. I had to go through a two step process to request a copy of these shady policies that I am still currently waiting on.What kind of company doesn’t automatically send their customers a copy of their policies, as well as list them openly somewhere on their website? Simply put, learn from my mistakes as this is not a company to do business with for any reason.

Do Not Sign up for gas services through this company! They called my 74 year old dad and told him he would save money and there was no cost to cancel. This was all done verbally. Three months later, my dad tried to cancel finding out his fixed rate is higher than the variable rate. After 4 phone calls, they tell him its $80 to cancel. Hes locked in for 12 months at a higher rate and not very nice customer service.

If I could leave a 0 star review I would. This guy came to our house and told my sick mother that she was already signed up through consumers and he just needed to see her bill. She asked him to show her where on the Consumers bill it says we have Realgy, Then he wrote down something off of her bill and we told him we didn’t feel comfortable signing anything until we talk to DTE. ( he came after hours of course) so we held on to the paperwork and he took a picture of it. A few days later we get a flyer in the mail telling us we switched over from Consumers to Realgy!My neighbor had the same experience and they actually signed her name for her and switched her over with out permission. This is ridiculous.If someone from Realgy comes to your door, tell them to take a hike!

This company is a complete and total scam that uses textbook bait and switch advertising. On the initial call I was promised a fixed rate along with a history of years that they beat Nicors per/therm. My first two months were 12 cents higher than Nicor. They are great at bombarding you to on the initial sales calls but nearly impossible to reach after you are a customer. 24 hour call backs are the only way during working hours.When I was finally able to get in touch with the rep, they lied and said I was being charged lower than Nicor. Through a process of simple math (division) I was able to prove that they were in fact 12 cents above Nicor. 3 24 hour call backs later, I went through the last 2 years of data with a rep. They beat Nicor only 4 months out of 12 each year and in those months they were .01-.02 cents lower. In the 8 months they were above, the exceed the Nicor rate by an average of .12 cents/therm!When I asked to review my initial call (it was recorded), they said they could email it to me. I wanted to confirm that they promised a fixed not variable rate. After another week, I was told they reviewed the call, but could not provide it to me. I was supposed to take their word that they went over the variable rate with me.It gets better, 80 charge to terminate that they couldnt waive (even though they charged me 160 more than Nicor would have in the 2 months I had the service. Their website claims to beat Nicor, they historically never have. They bait and switch on service calls. This company should be investigated by the Better Business Bureau.0 stars, if it seems to good to be true....

SPENT DAYS TRYING TO GET A PERSON TO CANCEL THE CONTRACT. I dont know how many people work in their Customer Service Department, but even if you call during working hours, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST, you will likely get the answering service who will take a message and send it to the appropriate department. I believe the answering service are people who actually work there. They do not make it easy for you to cancel. BASED ON THEIR POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, IT CONFIRMS MY CORRECT DECISION IN DROPPING THEM AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE. I am going on 2 days, and havent talked to someone yet. They did call back, however, if you work (and I was in a meeting when they called), good luck! Theres no accountability.

Complete Scam! This company came to my door claiming that they are from my gas company and needed to look at my bill. So I let them look at my bill and they left. Since then i have been being charged double my normal rates! I have been trying to contact this company for 5 days and finally someone returned my call and says I need to pay $80 to cancel and contract I never signed and never gave permission to! I have contacted my gas company and filed a complaint. ive also filed a complaint with the BBB and if i have to I will also be contacting my lawyer! This is absolutely ridiculous and how can this be legal? NEVER do business with this scam of a company.

The cold call was by a person named Patrick English. Without going into details here, once I identified he was a salesman for a 3rd party energy provider he became rude and disconnected the phone call. I called their corporate office and am waiting for management to return my call. My initial reaction is this is a questionable business and would encourage customers to be very cautious.

This company pays their employees in installments to avoid loss of welfare benefits like food stamps, etc. Head supervisor receives food stamps but brags about how well off he is. Supervisor also has hefty arrest record of hit and runs, drug possession and spent time in jail. Company is shady and will do anything to slip between the cracks and make extra money. I wonder how this has gone on so long without social services becoming involved, this company is making extra money by taking advantage of our federal tax dollars, someone please investigate.
