Probably one of the nicest UPS stores Ive been to.. Everyones nice especially Amanda.. she has been so hopeful and kind.. she helped us notarize something and made it painless :) ... 5 stars for this store.

Don’t go there to get papers notarized. I made an appointment and they made me wait 45 min because they wanted to handle the people in line with packages first…the appointments don’t mean anything.

They do not honor any appointment you made on the UPS website for a notary. They claim because this store is a franchise they are not bound by appointments you make on the UPS website, even though you will get reminders sent to you of that appointment. Go to a bank! Peoples Bank in West Hartford off of Farmington Ave will notarize documents even if you do not have an account there. Webster Bank has a young notary who does not feel comfortable notarizing legal documents, even if you have an account there.?What is the common theme of all of the negative reviews? Management does not respond!

I was charged nearly $10.00 to return something to an Amazon seller. I notified the seller when I got home and they were very apologetic and refunded me the cost of the item and shipping. Said they would use Fedex in the future.

I have gone to this UPS site twice now and will never return! Customer service at this site is horrific!!! Both times I have gone in the rep is sitting on the back counter and seem super inconvenienced when you walk in with multiple packages. Horrible, horrible. Save yourself aggravation and go to a different site!

I decided to return an large item. I wanted to try this UPS store for the first time. Brought the item in and the customer service rep seemed to have an attitude. I had a issue with a label waited a few minutes to retrieve from my phone and the customer service changed her attitude to more pleasant. Maybe she started off having a bad day. Not good for new customers. I probably wouldn’t do business with them again.

Shipped a rather large, heavy item back to Amazon and did not have the original box or packing. Amanda assisted me with fast, courteous service and a price that was reasonably fair. She made what appeared to be a big job, no sweat at all....I was in and out in a matter of minutes. I highly recommend this UPS Store as a five star place to handle all your shipping needs and the many related services they offer.Update: One year later: The UPS Store continues to give outstanding customer service at a high level. Amanda and Jennifer exceed my expectations on each visit. The convenience of getting in and out of there in minutes is gratifying. Always ample help.

The worst UPS store I have ever been in. UPS never dropped off the return label that they were supposed to, and want to charge me to print it. Then they want to charge me 2 dollars to seal an envelope that has their label on it? 2 dollars a package, that I have already brought the labels for. Unbelievable. Go somewhere else. BTW. FedEx does not charge customers to use tape??? Seriously?

I went into the store to get a document notarized. Time: around 2-3 pm. There was a young woman in the store alone unpacking/packing boxes. I was neatly dressed in shirt/tie/slacks. I greeted her and said I was there to see the notary. Without a smile or backward glance she said, Ok. I had the form to be notarized but no pen. There was a container with pens on the carrel with the UPS forms so I selected a pen. There was no blotter, so I blotted the pen on the form which was on the top of the stack. She came swiftly from 30-40 ft away and picked up the form, crumpled it and threw it into the trash. Not a word from me to her or vice versa. Midway through filling out the form I asked if the notary was in office. She said, I am waiting for you to come to the desk to deal with you..(paraphrase) in a curt, sarcastic voice. So, I got to the desk, explained that I was looking to notarize a document so I could apply for a state medical license. Eyes wide, she became overly solicitous. I said, I did not have a pen and had no paper to blot your pen on so I apologize for marking on the form ( presumably, the free UPS form available in spades at UPS stores). Not a word from her about that. She carried on as if I had said nothing. I left.Fact: Im black, shes white.Im sure she would say it was not important, but judge here reader. Maybe it was an off day?If there was a half-star I would have awarded it to this store. Customer service and diversity training needed.

Charging 2 dollars for a piece of tape??Goodbye!! Never going back there!Then the girl had the gall to shout out a cheery “have a good one”.Plus it’s so obvious they have people giving fake good reviews by using the same exact language over and over.

They have a store policy to charge a customer two dollars per box if it requires any taping. I will bring my business elsewhere. It is not good practice to nickel and dime a customer.
