Very flattering clothes for going out and special occasions. The service is great! The sales representatives offered me high heels to see the the whole look and they offered help zipping up the dresses. The prices are reasonable and the quality seems good. Very unique, femenine clothes. Will be back when I visiting L.A. next time

Whats going on in this store?We had to wait outside for 30 minutes to get in. When we were checking out, it took them 10 minutes to check out the person before us in the line and it took them another 15 minutes to do a simple return on 2 dresses. Only one cashier, a super slow one!

House of CB was impressive at the very least. This hip clothing store has some impressive designs at even more impressive prices. They have clothing that compliments nearly every body type and one of the few dressing rooms open. Although you are limited to one dressing room visit and only three items, which is only fair given the long line of people waiting out front to get in. (But is totally unfair given how many good pieces they had to choose from!) The money spent here was definitely money well spent and the outfits are going to be a huge hit.

This is my first time posting a review and I felt the need to write it because I’ve never felt so bad in a store. I was badly treated by staff and while they all asked customers with luxury bags if they needed help, they barely looked at my face because I had a Zara bag! When it was my time to use the dressing room they didn’t even bother to call me in right away and I had to wait until someone was kind enough to grab my items. House of CB should really review their staff policies and mind who they hire!

They wouldn’t let me return my dress because I had left my credit card in my hotel.I had to spend $15 to ship the dress back to the LA store just for them to call me to ask for my card number. I don’t get why I could not initially do a return without my credit card but my ID. Such an in inconvenience.

Horrible customer service. The women working here are short with you, stuck up and act like it’s out of their way to grab sizes or help you put an outfit together. A lot of the clothing I did try on had rips in the seams already. For the prices they charge their clothes should hold up better than that. This brand is waaay over hyped.

I arrived at the store at exactly 4:39 p.m. To my understanding, they close at 5. I came from a far distance, I am all the way from another state, and stood in line for 18 minutes for the guy associate to come outside at 4:56 and let the 7 people before me in, and stop at me. He said he was at capacity and could not let only me in (I was the last and only person left in line.) I understand that restrictions are tight and that they have to be followed, but this was petty. I don’t feel that it would have hurt anything or anyone to let me in. I asked if I could wait for someone to come out in those minutes and he still declined. I am all the way from another city and looked forward to visiting, but I will not be back.

I fell in love with their clothes online and was excited to shop in store during a trip to LA. When we got there, there was a long line to get in, which i get because of covid restrictions. Buy then after waiting all that time i was only allowed to try on 3 garments, again i guess I understand cuz they wanna move people through at let others in, but it made the shopping experience pretty stressful. Im already an indecisive shopper and this really didnt help. I love the clothes and the fitting room staff were helpful, but my visit was just unpleasant and anxiety inducing. Ill stick to online shopping now that I know (somewhat) how their clothes fit me.

Usually shop online but decided to get a last minute birthday dress at the store. Unfriendly service, besides the girl by the fitting room who was very helpful. Felt targeted and was constantly being watch. Was told I couldn’t return or exchange my dress. Which I found weird but ok?! Definitely would not be supporting this company again.

I went off the measurements from the website, when I tried it on it was completely off. So I returned that one, mind you I was told from friends they had measurement issues too. So I went ahead and order another one - thinking it will be here within 2-3 days AS THEY PROMISE ON THE WEBSITE. Its been over a week, the dress is held up . UPS is saying its the consumers fault. And to top it off, this dress was for my Bridal Shower coming up this weekend. I am beyond frustrated. NO WAY I would recommend this company to any one especially when youre paying higher-end prices!!!

I waited in line for almost 45 mins which is fine, but the entire time people were not wearing masks in the line and vaping, which was fun. Then I finally get into the store just wanting to return a dress and after waiting 30 mins the employee takes the girl waiting behind me and tells me to wait for the other cashier to open up. I told him I was waiting in front of that person but he just ignored me. Good quality dresses, inefficient customer service. However, the girl who did return my dress was very kind and quick.

I ordered a dress online directly through House of CB. Upon arrival I saw that the dress was see- through, so I didn’t bother trying it on. Since the store requires you to pay for your own shipping, I drove 45 minutes to the nearest store (on Melrose). I stood in line for over 15 minutes and when it was finally my turn, the worker inspected the dress and alleged that there was a “stain” on it and that it couldn’t be returned at the store. Although it is the same exact company, somehow it was ok for me to ship the dress back but not make a store return. I explained that I hadn’t worn the dress and that the stain couldn’t have been my fault. In the end, I had to pay 15+ dollars to return a dress I didn’t even try on. Very disappointed by this entire experience. Will definitely never order from this company again.

One of the worst customer service experiences Ive ever had. Seriously beware of ordering from this company online. They make you pay for return shipping and refused the return of an unworn item after telling me to send it in for an exchange. Its 2020, there are better options for online ordering that dont penalize customers who choose to shop online.

Poorly made! This is the second time I have to take this bikini to get fixed because the jewels fall off so easily. Not worth spending $105 on this. I tried returning this bikini with ALL the tags attached since I wasn’t able to wear it and “one of the managers” that works there wasn’t helpful at all.

Be aware - these people are NOT taking pandemic precautions seriously at ALL. The store manager had his mask OFF the entire time I was there, and other customers were pulling their masks down to talk to each other, talk on the phone, etc. I felt incredibly unsafe and violated during my entire time there. So disappointing. So scary!

Whenever I visit a store I always look first if somebody will assist you or not especially when looking for the right size. I usually leave the store if there are no staff who will willingly assist you. It is great thing that I received great customer service on House of CB. They are really friendly.

The store in Los Angeles has poor customer service. They didn’t even greet me or acknowledge me. It made me not even want to order online anymore which is so sad. If you’re ever in Las Vegas that store is a better store to go to their customer service was 100 times better than the store in Los Angeles. Just RUDE period .

I normally shop at House of CB online! But the customer service in the store was by far the worst costumer service in my life. My sister bought a dress and asked for a small, the store manager and employees laughed when the size was mentioned. Even though my sister normally wears a medium she was buying the dress for me. I still was unsure what could possibly be humorous about the size request.The experience made me extremely uncomfortable, but I do appreciate that experience. It reminded me to continue to support black owned businesses.I think the company needs to take a page out of Starbucks and Sephora book regarding discriminating against race, sexual preference, and body types. Body shaming should not be tolerated on any levels.

Please reconsider shopping online, especially if you plan on returning something! I ordered my dress on a Tuesday before 4:00pm as their website states in order to receive my dress by Friday. I then get an email stating my package would not be delivered until Monday and I needed my dress for a party that Saturday. I contact the company (which you can only do through email by the way) to let them know since I did not receive the dress by Friday as promised by your website them I would like to return the dress. The company reassured me they would contact FexEx and make sure the dress gets returned to them and needless to say they did not do as they promised again. I have been trying to return this dress since November 11, 2019. I have spoke to several employees through email and they all say the same thing. That they will contact FexEx and yet no one has. Don’t waste your money buying online, go to the store and return it to a store. If I would have known the return process would be like this, I would have just taken the five hour drive to the store location and saved myself the headache.

The company really spent the time writing those fake google reviews. Just look at first reviews left by real people at the beginning. After House of CB saw those reviews they decided to write a bunch of fake reviews in a row to skew their stats.At any rate, I visited this store with my friend a couple of days ago after visiting their beautiful online store. The place looked very trashy. The clothes are of very poor quality. All of them are made in China, and I am not necessary saying that Chinese quality is always bad. Its not, but in the case of House of CB it is. I asked the sales lady where their clothes are made. She said, London. I replied that these clothes are clearly made in China and she reluctantly agreed. The majority of the clothes are missing the tag saying where their clothes are made. I believe this is illegal.IMPORTANT, if you order clothes online you wont be able to return them at the store, because their online store and physical stores are completely separate entities.What a beautiful scam! :-) Google should do a better job filtering those fake reviews. Yelp does a slightly better job at this

At first the workers did not immediately greet me! Which worried me because of the reviews I had read about this place and the workers being snobby. BUT as I continued to walk through the store and pick outfits to try on, a few of workers came by took my clothing to start a fitting room and were extremely friendly. So they did redeem theirselves. Also the clothing is worth the price! Little pricy but the fabric is great and it feels like itll last me a very long time. Totally loved it here. The store was clean and the fitting rooms were cute, only issue was that they were not air conditioned. Regardless, I will definitely go back again and make more purchases!!

Review Long OverdueWe normally shopped at House of CB FV, but there were several items not at that location that prompted a 3 hr drive to Melrose. First, the sales girls are beyond rude, they lack customer service and have no business working in an industry requiring service whatsoever.Our purchase was over $1k. The problem arose when we realized the idiot sales person mixed up the sizes and got new ones from the back instead of the ones tried on, nice as they were still packaged right?? No! Not if they give you the wrong sizes!!!!!. We tried on and fit a blk jumpsuit size XS, but the new one packaged and bagged was a SM, the satin jacket was a Medium, when it should have been a SM.We did not realize this until we got to the Grove (HoCB now closed 2 weeks ago) and tried to exchange/return the itrms there. It became an Epic battle as we were told the two stores were separate entities and they would be unable to exchange or refund any purchases made at the HoCB Melrose. Really?!!!! That didnt sit well when they clearly had thd right sizes to switch on their sales floor. After demanding the call a DM, RM and giving them suggestions on how to exchange inventory and 2 hrs later, they did it.The clothes fit remarkably well, their quality is good, prices steep but expected, but service atrocious. As both stores FV and Grove have closed in last week, we will definitely NOT return to the Melrose location.****reason I decided to write this review is because all the fake ones on here created by the company. You can tell they are fakes with only 1 review or 2 of the same company different locations.

I am writing about the company itself, not the store, as I have only experience with the online orders. I will not shop with House of CB again. They market their party dresses by using a few celebrities to be seen in their dresses. With the price point they sell their dresses for, it is shocking they have no contact number for customer service for their customers. In addition, they do not cover shipping. I ordered a very expensive dress over 2 months ago, was on backorder, by the time I received it was a month later.....when I then received it with atleast 2 different tears/damaged.....their disclaimer is they do not cover shipping costs....You have to email to a generic email address. After several days of emails back & forth, and me having to provide several proofs that it arrived damaged, they have yet to credit my credit card with not only the cost of the dress itself but I am now out an additional $50 in shipping costs.... I have shipped the dress back over A MONTH ago, and have been asking via email every day for the past 3 weeks......each time their response is that they are waiting management approval. I have never heard of a company being run this way, it is not legal to not refund a customer for this long. For the price they sell their clothing for, I would expect a much better staffed company to service their customers.....I will never order from there again.
