I was very happy to find a coffee shop that is open at 7 AM on Sunday morning in West Hollywood. unfortunately they did not have soy milk so my mom couldn’t get her latte Of her choice. I got oat milk latte which was extremely hot so I had to wait for a while until I could actually drink it. service though was incredibly friendly despite the very early time of the day

The service was superb! I really felt the warm welcome from the security guard through the whole crews. Amazing ambiance, amazing food, and amazing staff. The food also tastes good and well prepared. Not a crowded place, unlike others. Must visit and recommended. I will surely come back here soon. Keep up the good work always.

Ive been a regular and loyal customer of this coffee shop for years. It was my daily routine before going to work to sample their best-tasting coffee in town. I enjoyed their muffin as well, though it wasnt as sweet as other bakeries muffins. I still buy some extras for my coworkers because they enjoy it as well!

This is one of my favorite coffee shops out of all the ones Ive visited in this region. The meals and coffee were as expected: pleasant and precise. We came here for coffee last week since we wanted to spend time here. We like conversing over a cup of coffee. We chose this location since it is home to one of the greatest coffee shops in town. I just think chocolate overpowers coffee, so you may mistake it for hot chocolate. Its worth a shot!

At least 3 times I have been here and they are consistent with great coffee, bagels and fast service. Nice food and coffee shop. The price is very fair, and very clean.

They suggested this coffee shop to my dad. Its a great place to drink the best coffee in the region, which complements its impressive meals well! Last Friday afternoon, I tasted your coffee and I was really surprised because the taste was wonderful and I just wanted to order it again and again. The vibe here is so chill. The area looks part hipster part earthy and upscale all at once if that makes any sense. It is pretty much a different type of coffee you’re used to ( quiet bright businesses) and that’s what makes it ten times better. The location is pretty hard to find but once you find it, it’s like an Aha! Moment. Brew is a bold statement and the fact you prep your own coffee is pretty neat!

This place holds a special place in my heart. Its such a cozy place to meet friends and family to have some drinks and delicious treats. Love this place so much. Its not a very big establishment but they have several different seating spots. A nice quiet place with a calm and warm vibe. I highly recommend this coffee shop to everyone.

I order from them a few times a week. Great lattes, good food. Unfortunately their customer service and pricing is not honest.Normally I place an order through their website to pick up - the website lists their normal prices. Today the website kept refusing my order so I called the place asking if they can just fulfill my order and I pay with my card when I arrive, as their website is faulty.The girl working their was super unhelpful and refused to fulfill my order and just told me to « keep trying » even though I said I already did for the past 30 minutes!Then she is like Post Mate it! Mind you, they charge at least 50 cents up to a DOLLAR more per item than their real menu price on Postmate.Such a rip off and Ponzi scheme. They should be ashamed to not offer customer service when asked.

Seriously my favorite coffee stop! Every time I visit LA, I always stop here and the staff is so nice and welcoming. Since I dont live in the area, I love the Alfred merchandise and always love to treat myself with something to take home. Really cool place to take fun pictures and relax. I always recommend this place to friends traveling. Open up a shop in Texas please!!!

Like the original Alfred coffee, this place has character and a little spunk. The cold brew is good and they have options for pastries. The floors and walls are an interesting throwback pattern. The A with antlers along the back wall remind me of an Abercrombie store.I guess the only issue here is the price, which is definitely high.There is seating in the alley as well, which is super cute.

I prefer this location to the main one on melrose place to be honest. They have a great food menu here and nicer outdoor seating.

Love the vibe there, even if Im just swinging in to grab an iced mocha and a bagel before work. They have some breakfast burritos that Im looking forward to trying. Friendly staff, happy people.

Good coffee, service is fast but could be a little friendlier. Theres tables outside if you want to hang around. I left because theres a spinning club next to the Alfred Coffee and it was kind of noisy.

Loved this little coffee shop. Found there pictures all over Instagram, and of course I had to visit them. It was my first time and the employees were super friendly, my coffee was delicious. I love the atmosphere of the place, I would defiantly recommend it.

I loved this place. Then they started closing at 4pm, and about a 8 months later stopped opening at 6am both without warning. So I went in to get my coffee and it was closed.

The baristas were great and served us a pair of excellent mochas (dairy and soy). My poppy seed muffin was also great, so much so I went back to the counter to buy a second. The space is fresh, but also small, so it can accommodate only a few simultaneously seated customers. I usually like to read as I drink and eat my morning treat, but this space is more for coming and going.

I ordered cold brew with almond milk, and I have to say it was so smooth and delicious. Would have given it five stars but during sessions at Cycle House (next door) the alley literally vibrates with sub woofer blasts. I would come back especially if I want to avoid the long lines at Urth Caffe.

Love this shop! tucked into the new corner of Melrose and La Cienega, Alfreds is the first purchase of my day almost every day of the week. I stop in while on my way to work, the coffee ground aroma alone rechargers my batteries on a slow moving morning. They are dog friendly and do have benches outside, this is a win win for me! Dont forget to ask for a stamp card while you’re there. Their friendly staff also is a no pressure no hassle environment so my mornings are smooth.

Located slightly inside the alley, the coffee is roasted in Stumptown, the atmosphere was very good, but there was a problem with the order, so I waited 30 minutes for the breakfast burrito. Im sorry, so I got a drink coupon that I can use next. If I go back to LA later, I should go.
