Fitness is my passion and Mike is a kindred spirit. I immediately knew he was the real deal when I first spoke with him on the phone and he was familiar with the specialized piece of equipment I asked about. Mike also helped me with the assembly of the Hoist bench I bought (great bench BTW). The store carries Octane cardio machines which I regard as the best. Im also really pleased with the rubber flooring I bought and Luis Rico, the installer Mike recommended, was awesome. Great store and people. If youre in the market for fitness equipment, this should be your first stop.

I am 81 years old and needed an excellent treadmill to keep moving and maintain a healthy lifestyle within my home. Online shopping was confusing and there were too many bad reviews on all machines. I found Frank on Yelp and the store was close to me so I thought I would check it out first hand. I received one on one help and consideration of what I needed. The Johnson Fitness equipment is top of the line and more than reasonably priced. I received a pretty quick delivery time considering the timing. This was one week before the shutdown of all non-essential stores. Thank heaven I have the ability to walk every day on a great treadmill!!!!

No weightlifting belts, limited supply of really any gym equipment

I called to make an appointment to shop for barbells - shopping by appointment seems to be their new COVID protocol - and the way I was treated over the phone was very unprofessional. The man I spoke to acted as if my call was a huge in convenience. Even the mere question of asking if they had barbells in stock seemed to bother him. He rushed me off the phone and that was that. I never made an appointment because of how unprovoked and immediate his hostility was. Despite my bad experience business does seem to be booming, but I shall shop for barbells elsewhere.

Franks customer service experience was second to none. If youre looking for anything fitness related, look no further. NO shady up-selling, listened to what I was looking for, and when they were out of stock due to the current state of affairs in regards to logistics, he suggested, with detail, a better option at a similar price point. I havent been to this place and its gone through a name change but I called recently to ask him questions about some gym equipment and the person on the phone was really knowledgeable and helpful and when I do go to buy some I will be going there.

Frank was fantastic. Very patient and understanding with me as I hemmed and hawed over what bike I should buy - and even when I nearly cancelled the order on him. Great store, and trust me you wont find anything better in town. By the way, I bought the Matrix CXM stationary bike, and it is PHENOMENAL. The technology has advanced light years in the 9 years since I bought my last bike, and I think I found the state of the art with the Matrix.

Purchased a lifespan c5i stationary bike from Frank. He was very knowledgable about all the bikes and rowers out there in the market. He answered emails quickly, and got the bike to me very quickly. Couldn’t be happier with it.K

Frank knows his stuff. I have been all over LA looking for a new elliptical. I even went to a gym to try equipment out. I circled back to Johnson Fitness (3 times), and peppered him with questions. He is beyond patient. I own a private Pilates studio and wanted a high quality cardio machine. Frank hooked me up. He seriously knows how the body works.

I don’t know if it was a owner or associate of this store but I felt very unsatisfactory with the service when I tried to walk in. I tried to buy weights and he immediately said he didn’t have them in a rushing way didn’t even let me finish like he didn’t want me in the store or buy anything there
