An absolute classic place to visit when in LA etc. 10/10 creativity and quality - I highly recommend trying several flavors here!! Not to mention the vibe/ branding is absolutely amazing. Try it if you havent yet!

Some of the most creamy and luscious ice cream that you will ever have! Excellent ice cream that makes me scream for more for sure!!They have special berry flavors at the moment and they are perfect for summer. I got the Wild Forge Berry Slab Pie and was super delighted with it. Good balance between the berries and ice cream and texture because of the pieces of pie. So good!They have a few locations around LA so definitely hit one up!

The ice-cream by @saltandstraw Had roasted strawberry with white choc + choc brownie. Prefer the strawberry one. Creamy and dense as it should be. Enjoy them a lot. But still a tat behind one from Sprinkle the other day.

The delicious smell of the waffle cones cooking is what draws your attention to this place. The flavors of ice cream they offer are unusual and you can’t get anywhere else. I got the chocolate gooey brownie. Which wasn’t that chocolatey or gooey it just tasted like regular chocolate ice cream. I was hoping it would have had way more chocolate and brownie in it but i did enjoy the waffle cone

Absolutely delicious! I loved the vegan roasted strawberry & coconut ice cream. My brother had the sea salt & caramel ribbon - loved it too! My husband had the coffee & bourbon and double vanilla - loved it all!

We found this ice cream shop on the fly while looking for a nice dessert place after dinner. Fortunately for us this place is phenomenal, they offer a full spectrum of different flavors and varieties of ice cream types. I recommend getting the pomegranate pink panther and the sundae with the brownie!If you are visiting the area and grabbing lunch or dinner, Salt & Straw is a superb place to visit to quench your dessert means. Plus you can try out any of the flavors before you commit on getting a scoop (get a double scoop, its worth it)

Ice cream is insanely good— no contesting that. The price is a bit much, but the main issue here is the spoon conundrum. For such an artisan, high-end LA hotspot, one should be able to expect a functional and equally excellent quality of cutlery. The plastic spoons (which the cashier agrees have been complained about before, when we had to go back for our second of three sets of new spoons) break upon immediate contact with the quite soft ice cream. This may seem trite, but it’s really annoying to have all three spoons snap at a quality establishment (that does not have convenient parking). While the price has yet to deter us, we will be careful next time to bring our own spoons and suggest you do too.

My favorite ice cream place in the whole country! Boldly experimenting with such flavors as caramel turkey (during November), they are constantly innovating to make you love ice cream that you might not have ever wanted to try. You cant go wrong with anything you order; honey lavender is a favorite of mine. PS. For those with allergies, the potential allergens are clearly labeled on the smaller menus (but not the chalkboard). That is something that is very much appreciated.

They are courteous, quick, and their ice cream is great. They have done a great job adapting to the pandemic conditions. Always a great treat!

Best icecream Ive ever had

I have been going to Salt and Straw since they opened up in Portland Oregon. I’m happy they have a local location to me now. They are always super patient in helping me sample and choose what I want. I love all of the classic ice creams and they always keep me coming back with their seasonal options. Go online to see what their current stock is for the season. They get really crafty with their creations. This is the only place that comes to mind when I think of ice cream because nothing compares.

I come here all the time and its legitimately my favorite ice cream place.Favorite flavor is honey lavender, but honestly you cant go wrong with any flavor. Even their monthly flavors are awesome -- sometimes some monthly flavors are so good, I wish they would just keep them as a regular flavor.Definitely come!Note: Parking can be hard for street parking, would recommend parking at the Pavilions nearby.

I was taking a little break from the routine and ended up walking almost 2 miles for my ice cream. it was totally worth it.

So good. As of today, their soft serve flavors are chocolate and tangerine. You can call to check what the current flavors are. Server was very friendly and informative, and they offer free samples. Try it before you buy it! The 3 I had today were to die for: Miso peanut butter, Thai iced tea, strawberry basil. Nice bright ambience. Will definitely come again!

I had the blackberry birthday cake in a waffle cone. It was the best ice cream Ive EVER had. I dont love ice cream. Im still thinking about this ice cream from time to time and wishing it wasnt 3,000 miles away. I will be coming back by next time were in town and hoping that this flavor is available when Im there.

I love Salt & Straw, the ice cream is so good and they get creative with their flavors. They also offer classics but with some character of their own. The ice cream is definitely fresh too, you can taste it, when you walk in you can smell the fresh baked waffle cones and they always have business. This is the real deal.

We went here upon hearing its praises on a podcast we listen to. The staff was very friendly and helpful and passed out samples to the people in line. We loved the fudgy brownie Ice cream! The caramel cookie dough Ice cream unfortunately didnt have any cookie dough in it. However, we would eat here again.

One of the most unique ice cream stores of all time. They offer a combination of flavors that you will never expect, which happen to be very delicious, and those combos are always changing. I believe 2 scoops is close to $10 and its big enough to share between 2-3 people and comes with a cone if you want. Line can go out the door!

Not often can going out for ice cream be an experience but Salt & Straw really does it right, the line is worth the wait and highly suggest that you make 3-5 choices before getting to the tasting portion so that you can make sure you get the right flavor because whatever they make is just delicious with very unique, high quality ingredients. Flavor profiles are out of this world and do a 1/2 in 1/2 so that you can take advantage of every visit. Nice to see folks taking things to the next level and this experience is really all that.

Uauuu. What a good ice cream. Avocado and Strawberry is a bomb. Even though, the price is a little high compared to the average ice cream shop and we took a 15 minutes line. IT WAS WORTH. Somehow I have been to this store 2 times when there was no line. Not sure if that makes the ice cream taste better or not. :) It certainly makes me happier.There are always interesting flavors to try. So many unusual choices that it is hard to decide. I had roasted salted almond with chocolate ganache. The ice cream is amazing. The parking is not. We parked up the back street half across a red line on the pavement that was hard to see in the dark, so a $58 fine for 10 minutes made it expensive ice cream. Dont even think about the mall parking behind as they are waiting to pounce.

This ice cream shop smells like happiness. The first time I visited I had the Almond Brittle ice cream as a warm fudge brownie sundae... it was so good that I went back the following weekend and had it again! The line can be Long but the staff is nice and once you get your ice cream you probably wont mind.

Always crowded, but worth the wait. They usually have one or two vegan flavors and the beet red velvet cake is heaven. I recommend getting a kid size cup if you dont want to indulge too heavily.

THIS IS THE BEST ICE CREAM I HAVE EVER HAD. the flavors are really strange but they know how to make some good ice cream. Its Al made in house and they have a set menue throughout the year and then every month they have some extra new flavors. I’ve been visiting Salt &Straw since their original locations in Portland. Consistently great ice cream and even have vegan options usually available.Seating and parking at this location can be a challenge.

I thought their ice cream average. My friend thought their ice cream the best they ever had. Lots of exotic choices in flavors. Very pricey.

Very bad customer servers.I called to ask if they ve got keto friendly Icecream, they said yes .but when I arrived to the store, they told me they do not know who I spoke to in the store, but they do not have keto friendly Icecream and asked me to move away form the queue ...very badd customer servers.Will never come again !
