Weve had a mailbox with this Postal Center for about 4 years. Peter, the owner, is great! He really goes out of his way to accommodate his customers. II would highly recommend using this business,
My husband walked in to drop off a DHL package and asked if he could get a receipt. The man at the front desk rudely said you can pick up your boxes and take it to a place that hands out receipts, because we dont do that here.We meant no harm by asking for a receipt and honestly even if you guys didnt give out receipts at least guide us and be informative rather than rub all your nasty attitude over us. We all have bad days but learn how to cope with positive social skills. Be the change and help.This guy was not friendly,not helpful, not customer service oriented and clearly unhappy. No wonder our world is messed up. Treat everyone equally and with dignity instead of making us feel inferior. And if youre not happy in your profession, look for a better job that you can be helpful to the world.
Awful! Called to inquire about a mailbox . The representative was beyond rude !!!! I would never do business with anyone that talks down to a prospective client. DISGUSTING !!! It’s so funny being kind is free ! DONT USE THIS SERVICE !!!!!!
I love this place! Everyone is incredibly friendly, its like walking into a friends house. Their friendly banter with the people in there (who I can only assume are repeat customers) is hilarious and I have noticed people will even walk by, open the door and say hi to them. They will also tell you when it is and is not necessary to send mail or packages a certain way (saves you money and stress). I wont go anywhere else.
I have basically run my business out of this place for 3 years with nothing but a great experience with these people. Peter is one of those rare individuals in Los Angeles who genuinely cares. In terms of service I have never seen them do anything but go the extra mile. They have made my life much easier.
I needed to have some very fine crystal sent home when I was on vacation in LA. Because of the great reviews on here, I chose “Postal Centre and More” to do the job. From the moment I walked into the store and met Peter, his wife, and their cats, I had every confidence that they’d do a good job for me. I have not been disappointed. The package arrived today, expertly packed, and the contents safe and sound inside. The communication from start to finish was great - friendly, helpful and reassuring at all times. I can not recommend this service highly enough.
By far the best postal center Ive been to, this neighborhood or elsewhere. I always get great service, and my dog gets a treat. They are kind and lovely people, and going to them for our shipping needs has become a real highlight for us living in West Hollywood. My dog gets excited when I say were going to visit Peter. Thank you for caring, and for always providing a positive experience.
I’m rewriting my review as my first review, they had made a response to and lied.I’ve been here twice and each time I’ve had extremely terrible service. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. I have them another chance and have been disappointed yet again.I was attempting to drop off a package today and they had rejected the request. They didn’t explain to me why they rejected it and simply just said “UPS already came.” They did not explain their policy to me (I still don’t know what their policy even is). They didn’t offer a suggestion as to come back the next business day, when UPS comes, or tell me why they wouldn’t let me leave my package. They were simply just rude and cut me off before I could finish and told me that UPS already left with no explanation whatsoever.It’s a bit disappointing that they would then reply to my first complaint stating nothing but lies. If you’re going to reply to this, then please at least be honest and not just say anything to make yourself look good. Otherwise don’t even bother.
I’m writing this review on behalf of a friend that wants to remain anonymous. At first this place was great they had good customer service like a lot of the other comments say, but then things changed with Peter. He was very short with me on multiple occasions, and then he started hanging up on me several times on the phone as well. I barely called and was a low maintenance customer and always was very cordial and polite to him. I can understand we all have bad days, but how many bad days do you need and why take it out on the customer? That’s where I draw the line and took my business elsewhere. On the other hand his sister was amazing. She is the reason I’m giving two stars and not one.
These guys always go out of their way to find the best deal... and are great at carefully packaging things up. Friendly cats, free water and a neighborhood vibe. Always fun to drop in to - especially for a mail center :)
I would like to say that the employees of postal center and more are very efficient workers that care and show compassion towards customers. Claire is the most patient and calm person ive ever encountered in an environment like this. Peter is an outstanding person that is very informative about this business. i would give this place 10 stars if i could!
Ive had a mailbox at this location for about a year now and its been a wonderful experience. Peter and Gerry are awesome and very good at what they do. There are plenty of times where Ive walked in to witness them going over and beyond for customers. Theyve also gone over and beyond for myself. There is 24hr access to mailboxes; packages can be signed for and held securely until you pick them up. You even get email notifications when packages are delivered to your box.They deal with UPS, USPS, FedEx, and DHL. You can print, scan, fax and even get documents notarized. If youre looking for a mailbox or shipping solution. I recommend stopping by here and giving these guys a shot. Prices are reasonable and they make the interactions more then just you being a customer.
They are friendly, honest, and so incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Above everything else, theyre incredibly gracious and offer cold bottled water while youre waiting. Havent ever been to a postal center like this before and will continue going back to this one!
Totally unprofessional service. After being a customer who pays in advance for his mail box for several years they up and move locations without having the courtesy to inform their customers. I go to check my mail and the store is gone! After dealing with changing my mailing address and settling into the new location, the owner MARY starts harassing me about upgrading my mailbox because I get too many packages. Well guess what, no other mailbox service I have ever used limits the number of packages you can receive. Just recently I went in there and had an especially large package but I came to pick it up within the 72hr window she imposes on her customers (another detail no other mailbox service requires). It didnt matter, she hemmed and hawed about how much of an inconvenience i caused her. She harassed me and I reminded her I was within the 72hrs and then she told me I could take my business else where! Well guess what, not a problem. Cant wait to leave. HORRIBLE SERVICE. HORRIBLE !
Outstanding personal service... definitely a great place to have a mailbox. Also when posting items, they really try and find the most cost effective way of sending.
I always ship things from here. Peter always remembers my name. His regulars adore him. It feels more like a small town post place with the friendly interaction, not like it is nestled on a bustling corner of Santa Monica Blvd. I highly recommend them.
