They have a great selection of a lot of things, including seeds, rice, beans, lentils, and so on. Also very good tahini, honey, yoghurt, tofu, papaya, Fuji apples, bananas. I cant comment on the sweets, based on the other reviews perhaps those are not the best.My main problem with the store is that the woman working there in the evenings is unprofessional, speaks like a robot and has no empathy. I once arrived ten minutes before the closure time posted on the door and she closed the door in my face as I was close to entering, I tried to knock as I just wanted to quickly get one thing but she turned her back and pretended to not hear me waiting for me to leave.

Prices are high, parking can be issue but located in best place and you will get most of the items you need.Very small place but fully packed with regular grocery items.

This store is run by an Indian thief! They mark-up prices by 50% in the name of convenience. They have products with no expiration dates. You will regularly get stomach upsets if you buy anything perishable from there. The grocery items like onions, potatoes and several other green items are wilted and bad. They purposefully do not price tag items and have charged me $2 more for a $4 product within the span of 2 days hoping no one will notice. None of the heavy items have any price tag on them and they ask you to bring 20lb rice bag to the counter just to check the price on a selection of 15 different types of rice. They have colored lentils and sold them in a different name as a decoy.I would never recommend anyone to go there if you can find an alternative place to get the same product.

Worst place at the best location. The price is always HIGHER than any other shops, whatever the product is asian or american. Moreover, there is no price mentioned along with the products. You have to carry the 20lb bags of rice to the counter to know it’s price. The veggies aren’t fresh. The store isn’t also interested to provide the receipt. For Indian foods, the grocery store at sagamore parkway is much more convenient.

I would not recommend this shop. I bought indian sweets and realized no expiry dates on them. I asked the register person about the dates til its good and she responded by saying its good for a week. I got sick eating those sweets after 4 days. I would not recommend my friends this shop. Another thing is the lady at the register is rude most of the time.

The only advantage of this place is the proximity to the campus. They overcharge significantly for all the products because of this. The other indian store on sagamore pkway is reasonable price wise. Most essential items are there in both the stores.

The only real advantage this place has is proximity to campus. The selection is terrible, mostly snacks and other junk, and it’s tiny. Thank goodness the Indian Grocery on Sagamore near PayLess is open now.

Such a ripoff. None of the items has a price tag. And they are almost charging 40% higher price for the same item that’s there in sams club. Shame on the owner for ripping off from the student community. Another showcase why people stop going to this small grocery shops.

Amazing selection of ethnic food (big % Indian) and produce, all kinds of supplies. A lot in a small space. Open late. Friendly personnel.I called and asked if they had bleach, they said they did, when I got there they had run out. They were so kind to give me their own.

None of the workers in the store wear masks - especially since the store is very poorly ventilated. I will not be returning to this store until after the crisis.

Most items dont have price tag. Those have tags are not clearly labelled, and are often misleading. How customer will decide something to buy without knowing the price?? I have purchased several items thinking incorrect price. Also price of most items are quite high.Always asks do you need a receipt? If you have the receipt you will find the difference of your expected price, and the price they considered in the counter.

They have the worst fresh food. I have bought fresh (if you can even call it that) fruit and vegetables multiple times now and each time I get home and open the box, it is all mouldy! Gross! You shouldnt waste your money here on fresh fruits and vegetables.

They have numerous items from the Indian subcontitent. If I feel like being away from home, I visit the place. I even find things which I remember to have liked during childhood. They even sell things which I dont find in India anymore. From rice kernel to spiced up puffed rice, you get everything here. I wanted to take off some points for the biryani and kebabs which always caused allergic reaction on face. Hope owner improves the quality of the ingredients used in making them after reading this review.

This is a decent store to get indian products and other commodities which you do not get in other supermarkets. Because of that this place is popular among indian students. However the place is not very big and prices of most items is not mentioned which I think is a major drawback of this place.

Tons of Indian snacks and different kinds of ramen. A lot of their inventory is vegan, and the ramen is super affordable. As others have mentioned, prices are sometimes not clearly marked.

Indian store near Purdue campus which has almost all types of Indian food items. They have ready-made parathas and rotis which you just need to heat in tawa and its ready. They even have biriyani, that too cheap than other places. The prices of milk are higher than Walmart or other stores, rest are more or less same.

THE place for all things Indian - groceries, cookware/utensils, body care products, you name it. Not the cheapest, but it is pretty much the only place in West Lafayette/Lafayette that can be considered a one-stop shop for a vast variety of Indian goods.
