I read the reviews, and even chatted to the sales guy about them, they said they changed everything around - Flew in from Maine to the Burgh to buy an 2021 F150 Lariat... Breakdown everything was solid.. Final paperwork they hit me with a $1,500 Notary fee... $25 fee... Talk about greedy... I didnt notice is because I had a 11 hour drive back home to Maine. and they were doing everything to get me on the road...Taking advantage of that... . Their finance guy may be the best...the best at screwing people out of their money. Ive got family in the area... will make sure they warn everyone, not that most dont know about this shady practice.. GREEDY- Ill Like a refund of that amount... If not my reviews of this horrible practice will cost you more business and a lot more than $1,500..

Shultz Ford South service is top notch. Talk about above and beyond….I took my F150 2015 because electronic running boards were not working. I had a warranty but when the warranty company came to inspect they said they wouldn’t cover because it was normal wear and tear. My husband who is a 100% service connected Veteran was not able to get in my truck without the boost of the running boards. The Shults Ford Service Department knew how critical this was to us so we could attend numerous doctors appointments. They called Ford headquarters and got an approval to perform there repairs👏 The sunroof was covered under the warranty so I did not have to pay anything!Most recently I went for an oil change. They told me the inspection was due next month and asked if I would like that done while I had it in. Then they gave me a $30 coupon off the inspection 😊🤑. That to me is great customer service!! I bought a 2012 f150 from Caleb. All I can say, it was one of the best experiences at a dealership . I can be a very difficult person, but Caleb always was professional and kept working with me to get what I wanted. From constant updates, and always had a positive attitude. Couldn’t have picked a better dealership and couldn’t have a better salesman. We love our new truck.*few days later*After owning the truck for less then a week, the check engine light came on, the breaks were squeaking, and one bulb was out by the license plate. I got into contact with Caleb, which was amazing, and he had the service depot call me back. Fast forward a few days later. I brought it in to get looked at. They fixed the check engine light, and the wireing harness, for the license plate bulb. Service department never kept me updated, but my salesman did, which speaks a lot about him. I bring it home, the breaks are still squeaking. Now I have to bring it to my mechanic to get it looked at, bc I live and hour away. 5 stars( or if I could leave more) for Caleb, finance department all the way down to the lot attendant for making a 2012 vehicle look brand new, but about 2 stars for the service department.

Great experience here working with Caleb. Highly recommend using him. He was very friendly, warm, professional, and personable. He got me the best price on a used GTI. I live in North Hills and he hooked me up and drove the GTI to the north hills location so I wouldnt have to drive all the way to the South Hills to pick up the car. He also gave me a 15 Starbucks card and Sarahs chocolate for purchasing from him. Cant say enough good things about Caleb and my experience there.

Bad experiences here with 2 of my cars.1st experience is with a Contour SVT I brought in for them to fix the emergency brake. It was working around 20% but didnt hold the car if it was on any decent incline. After paying $300 I got the car back and the e brake was completely disabled. In the end they told me they were not able to fix it but they had to pay the tech for his time so I paid $300 for nothing. Also I was unable to get my car to pass inspection after this.Fast forward maybe a year, I go back to this dealer with my fiesta st. It was throwing a code, P0480 (control fan circuit) radiator was not turning on. They say they diagnosed it to be the fan control unit. They replace it, final bill; $600.I write a negative review, the manager blows up my phone for a month trying to get me to sign up for a rewards program through Ford and she was going to put $50 in the account. At this point, Im in over $1000 at this place and have literally nothing to show for it because again, today, (warm day) the same code on the fiesta pops up again (p0480).Keep your $50. Im done going to dealers, they dont know what they hell they are doing.

My wife and I were simply going out to begin looking at cars on Monday evening. We werent necessarily looking for brand new, and definitely had no intentions on buying a vehicle that day! We saw this 2018 Ruby Red Ford EcoSport and liked it immediately. Tom Merikas, the salesman, came over and introduced himself to us, and showed us some of the features. He suggested that we take it for a ride. I have to admit that I was pretty impressed with the way this SUV handled. It also has a feature called Intelligent 4WD, which is something really neat.After driving the car, we figured since we liked the ride, and we both loved the color, what was the point in looking any further?! We talked to Tom, and he and the other folks at Sturman Larkin Ford worked out some pretty awesome figures that were too hard to pass up, so here we are! I have a happy wife and a great new car! If youre in the market, dont hesitate to check them out, and definitely ask for Tom Merikas! He was So NOT pushy, and took the time to answer every single question. He even invited us back to go over anything at all that we may have missed, Hes a first class, straight up guy!

Typically the purchase of a new vehicle is stressful and unpleasant. From beginning to end, my experience at Shults Ford South was exceptional. Not only did my salesman (Michael McCleary) find me exactly the vehicle I wanted, it had features I didn’t even know that I wanted. Michael sat in the vehicle with me to explain every feature; some that I probably wouldn’t have discovered on my own for a while. The irony in receiving a service reminder today, exactly one year to the day from when I first started trying to get my truck fixed at Shults, was just the last push that I needed to finally leave this review. Ill start off with the short version: if you value your time and actually want your vehicle fixed with little hassle (or even just fixed in my case), this in not the service department for you.I decided to try their service department after a great experience with the parts counter. That was also the last good experience. My truck was in their shop 5 different times from February to October and still is not close to right! The service writer failed to return calls or follow up on multiple occasions. The service manager must not check emails and even promised a call back the next day that never happened at one point. On multiple trips, they failed to look at all of the concerns. Some problems were blown off as normal despite numerous accounts of TSBs and warranty repairs all over the internet.On the third trip, I even handed them a typed, detailed list of the 7 problems along with what I found were the solutions from my own research... they still didnt fix it. On the fourth trip, in July, they agreed that the IWE needed replaced due to grinding but I had to wait for parts. When I checked back in OCTOBER, parts were never ordered but they would get them rushed (2nd time this happened). They proceeded to keep the vehicle for days to troubleshoot and fail to replicate the problem, after already saying the parts needed to be replaced. I listened to the horrendous grinding the whole way home the night that I picked it up. The worst part is, they refused to ever give me any invoices at least proving that the concerns were previously brought up, so I have no chance of getting them repaired at Fords cost now that my comprehensive warranty conveniently expired.If youre considering an F-150 these are all very, very common problems. Thats why there are well known TSBs for almost all of them: 1) Rattling Pano roof. It took 3 tries for them to finally adjust it. It is better, but still clunks from time to time. 2) Grinding IWEs. I convinced them to replace the check valve, which made it better, but it still grinds on hot days. 3) Bubbling/Peeling chrome on the wheels and steps. Attach picture is only a small example. The service writer said Ford just wouldnt do anything and recommended throwing the steps away because thats what he did with his Dodge. This is a three year old $60k truck. Cmon. 4) Clunking leaf springs. They eventually threw some grease on to temporarily band-aid. 5) Cooled seats that move little to no air in the seat back. Written off as normal by a literal seat-of-the-pants comparison. 6) Universal garage door that only works intermittently. Ive had many other vehicles with this feature that worked great on the same openers, including my 11 F-150. The only test they have is to verify that the light comes on with a button push.

UPDATE: Their service department has been terrible in recent years.We currently have a 4 year old Explorer Platinum with 37k miles, our 7th vehicle from them. Ive had to bring it in repeatedly over the past three years for getting 12 miles per gallon and it blowing smoke out of the exhaust at times. Every time, they cant find a problem.Last fall, the seat cooler stopped working and was repaired under warranty but when I got the truck back, the power seat wasnt working and I had to return to have them reconnect the wires. The following winter, the heater in that seat didnt work either. I took it back, this time not under warranty and they wanted to charge over $500 for the repair as it seems its completely unrelated to the previous problem and not covered under the $2000 extended warranty I purchased from them.I also brought it in for having an airbag light on the dash which I was told meant that it isnt working. Their repair was to clear out the code. It seems that a warning light would indicate a malfunction in the system. A pretty important one. But the extent of their repair was to make the light go away. The light came back on a week later.I have a 4 year old truck with 37k miles that cost $55k plus Fords best extended warranty at about $2000. It apparently has a malfunctioning airbag system, a broken seat heater, gets 12 mpg, and blows smoke... all of which they cant repair.PREVIOUS REVIEW OF STURMAN AND LARKIN FORD: ==========================================================I was referred to Bob Popp at Sturman and Larkin 5 years ago and have since leased 3 vehicles with him and SL Ford. Each time was a seamless and comfortable experience. We went back and forth between a Honda Accord and Ford Fusion a few years ago. Bob was patient and allowed us to think it through. In the end, the Fusion with AWD was the better value. AFTER we made the decision to go with the Fusion, they still gave us more money on our Honda Civic trade-in than the other Honda dealer had offered us. That was a nice surprise.Most of the service work that we have had done was comprised of warranty repair, inspections or the free oil changes that they offer. I did have brakes replaced a couple of times and their prices were very competitive. I never shopped around for that because for what they we charging, I couldnt imagine saving much anyway.If you want a true family run dealership that cares and doesnt treat you like a number, go here and talk to Bob Popp.

Practically got a brand new F150 for a steal, didnt have to argue about a lower price at another dealership or online because they are the LOWEST factor in the free oil changes for the life of the vehicle and you made out like a bandit. Modern and friendly environment with a diverse inventory its hard not to find what youre looking for; and if by some off chance they dont have what you want they have no problem finding what you want instead of making you splurge or settle for something you dont exactly want unlike other dealerships. Filling out the paperwork was a breeze because everything was explained in plain english and did not feel as if I got ripped off in the fine print all my questions and concerns were listened to and thoroughly explained to me in a professional way that didnt make me feel undermined. My favorite part of the buying experience was getting to take my time, ask as many questions I wanted to without feeling rushed, double and triple check over the vehicle click all the buttons and play with all the features to make sure this was what I wanted to drive for the next few years. I had taken my vehicle to have the yearly inspection done and I also had a recall on my vehicle. The service was great! I didnt know how long it would take to service with the recall and they offered to take me home and come and pick me up when it was completed. They went and picked up a truck in another part of town to get me what I needed . I am overly satisfied with the service . They made the buying process very simple . I wasn’t even planning to buy a car this year but then Michael McCleary explained my costs and it was so affordable plus he found me a car with everything I wanted!!I’m so happy with the new 2020 Ford Explorer. Plus my schedule is super busy and he drove the car to my house for me and my husband to test drive and brought the application so we could complete it that night.The next day we stopped at the dealership and he had everything ready to go to sign! Bob should not be in customer service. He had given me nothing but a horrible experience. Lies about everything. Scheduled my vehicle for service over a week in advance. Was told it would take a week or two to repair. I said that is fine as long as I can have a rental to commute to work. He got snippy and stated they can’t put a rental to the side for me which I understood. I also felt as though they could have scheduled me to have one. Any other dealership I went to would pull from the lot of needed. Was told to call Friday to see if they had a rental was still told no. Thankfully when I went in this morning I dealt with Paul who was wonder. He was confused as to why I was not set up with a rental. He stated my vehicle should only take a day and not a week or two. Also was blessed to have Michael finalize me for the rental. I’d suggest getting rid of Bob. He brings down the vibe.

As someone who was a service advisor I’m pretty disappointed. Vehicle was dropped off Wednesday. No call Thursday. My fiancé had to inquire. Then no call today and when he called they were closed. How can you leave a family without a car with no call? We’re both full time employees and need our vehicle or at least a heads up on what’s wrong(and maybe a time frame?) I know how much surveys and customer satisfaction surveys are to an advisor/writer. Tried to give the benefit of the doubt. However my boss would have had my tail had I kept a customer in the dark like this.

Recently I needed to use the body shop due to a minor collision and also found that service to be excellent as well. Overall, everything about the dealership is five stars in my book!!

Took my truck in for service today and got ripped off. I was told when I leased my truck that oil changes would be free because of warranty issues if the engine were to fail. That being said I was charged for the oil change and told that it was a deal from the previous owner and no longer homered. I also selected “The Works” package be to be done which is basic preventive maintenance in which it says check tire pressure. I got home to verify work was done and all my tires are still low on pressure and I assume they probably weren’t rotated either. That Jazzy guy is cheap and having mechanics perform theft by deception. When my lease is up I will be going to another dealer, one that is honest.

Bought vehicle from previous owner (Sturman Larkin) and had lifetime free oil changes. Still had free oil changes when they changed to Shults. Called in February to make an appointment and was told my lifetime oil changes expired. Well, I am in the market for a trade in and new vehicle purchase and it wont happen here. That is bad business out of the gate. They did not let us know of the changes and just picked a random expiration date. We were told that the free oil changes are why the previous people went out of business. Our vehicle demands that service twice a year. They offered to charge me 40 for the service. Losing 80 dollars compared to losing a new sale...Now, I wonder what will put these new owners out of business?

This is the best dealership I have been to so far. The pricing is fair and they work with the client for their best interest. The process is fast and reliable and the sales person (Mike) was very helpful in explaining all the available options and ordering the vehicle of my choice. Unlike other dealerships, they respected my requirements and they did not try to push something from their inventory that lowers my expectations. I also like their fair assessment of my trade-in. I can’t begin to say how much I appreciate all the help I received from Micheal McCleary at Sturman Larkin, during my review and purchase of the used Jaguar S-type they had. I am in Georgia and had to rely on him completely for his honesty and easing my anxiety about buying a car without seeing it in person. From additional pictures, test driving it and being my point of contact with the car hauler, he went above and beyond! My car arrived today and I absolutely love it. Took my truck there for a noise it was making. 2018 with 18k miles on it. Was told I needed to pay for a diagnostic. They proceeded to tell me my bumper to bumper warranty may not cover my issue. Then charged me for not being able to fix my warranties issue. Never again will use this dealership. Customer service was horrible. Good luck!

Had the works oil change in a timely manner and repaired my roof rack rail covers while i was there. pleasant to deal with. one issue through two days after roof rack repair the drivers side roof rack cover again came loose, I heard it pop while i was sitting at a red light. bad design i believe. ill have to make another appointment to get if fixed again I suppose.

It was disappointing that after acquiring Sturman and Larkin Ford, Richard Bazzy decided not to honor the lifetime oil changes that were contractually part of the vehicles I purchased there while it was Sturman and Larkin. Its hard to believe that when acquiring the business they would not have to assume these contractual obligations. Just the same, I purchased three cars there before and will not purchase or get service there anymore. I hope the $30 oil changes boost their profits enough to cover the lost sales.

We were visiting Pittsburgh from out of town and had car trouble with our 13 year old Ford (175,000 miles). My sons mechanic recommended Sturman & Larkin so we checked their reviews online and decided to go there. At that point, we werent sure if we were going to fix the old car or buy a new/used car. We wound up buying a 2016 Ford Edge - the car is beautiful and we thought the price was fair. Every person we dealt with (Anthony in Sales, Michael Larkin the owner, Lynn in Financing) was friendly and there was no pressure to buy anything extra. Overall, it was a great experience.

Great service this time! Definite improvement. I needed a car repair immediately and it was not sure if it was covered under my warranty. I had to drop off on Saturday and was promised they would look at it on Monday and do repairs on Tuesday. I received a call on Monday that the repairs were done and covered under the warranty. They also did my needed free oil change. They took care of a recall and my inspection too. I had to rent a car and they are working on reimbursing me through my warranty. Couldnt be happier.

Salesmen was excellent, I give him 5 Stars! BUT, I bought a used vehicle as is, and I understand yes I signed papers as is ! But come on really! I get home and there is hardly any oil on the Dip stick .. had to add oil and repair a major leak luckily the engine did not seize.

Tony was fantastic, got me 0% interest and all applicable Rebates on a 2017 Ford Fusion that got me out of my 2015 Ford Focus that my family outgrew, plus lifetime oil changes! However my problem is the fact that when I went to register my car in WV I was told the sales tax had went up 1% and the amount on the check that was sent was short $169.00, I was not expecting this on top of my plate fees so I had to come up with this amount out of my vacation fund, I know I am responsible for taxes and title fees in the loan however this was a mistake on the dealers part not mine and does not make me very confident in future dealings as I was told this was my responsibility even though they made the mistake, took my review from 5 stars to 2 because it was not my responsibility to know sales tax rate of my state, you sell the cars not me, probably wont be back when it is time to trade my wifes 14 Escape like I had originally planned.

My dad has purchased a few vehicles from Stuman and Larkin before, so when I was looking to purchase my first used car they stood out to me. Tom was very nice and friendly, didnt seem like any sleazy car salesman people warn you about. The car was used and as is, but seems like it couldve been new as there was extensive work put into it by S&L before I bought it. I wish Tom wouldve spoken to me more as the buyer than my Dad, but for the deal I got, its hard to complain. Will definitely be going back to them in the future.

Having checked out quite a few ford dealerships in the Pittsburgh Area, Sturman and Larkin by far is the best. They offered me the base price and went the extra mile to find me the exact vehicle I wanted. Other dealerships told me I had to choose from the current inventory or pay over $1,000 to get what I wanted. I had to pay a fee, but nothing near a thousand dollars. They by far are the most accommodating and professional dealership and I highly reccomend them. I worked with Nick and have only praise for his work and recommend dealing with him.

On October 13th 2018 a used car on the lot caught my attention so I pulled in to have a look. I liked everything that I saw (condition of the car, price, mileage, etc) and at that time Salesman Mike Heck arrived. We chatted a bit and he talked things that made sense. Numbers, financing, credit rating, and so on. No what will it take to get you in this car today stuff. No pressure tactics. No let me talk to my manager. And when I told him what I was looking for he didnt attempt to steer me towards anything else. My experience here was fantastic and Im so happy I stopped that day!

I recently bought a new Ford truck. Did most of my research online. Found the truck I wanted at two dealerships. Inquired online to both Ford dealerships. Sturman & Larkin responded quickly with a real price, not a price that included every rebate you DONT qualify for. Visited their dealership and drove home the same day with the new truck. I was really impressed with the whole process from the start with my online experience to the dealership greeting of my salesperson, Eric, to the finance department giving me a better interest rate than my credit union, and even ending with a full demonstration of every feature the truck has. By far the best experience Ive had with a vehicle purchase. I would definitely recommend Sturman Larkin to anyone looking for a new vehicle.

It’s a shame to have to write this but people should know. I brought my ford truck to this dealership after being in an accident. My thought was they were a dealer and I would receive my truck back in as good of condition as before the accident. Some $20k plus and three months later I finally got the truck back. Five trips back to them to get their deficiencies corrected and they still can’t get it right.The first time they gave it back to me without the breaks being pressurized almost causing me to rear end someone leaving the dealership. The truck was full of body shop dust, the tires all had about 25 pounds of air in them, there were wrecked parts still laying around the vehicle and the fog lights did not work.Unfortunately, that was just the beginning. There are parts that they were paid to replace that they did not, there are bolts on body panels that they removed and reinstalled that are not there, all body panels repaired by them are crooked, dirt in the paint everywhere, bare spots in the paint etc…I can’t speak for their sales team but the service and collision department are piss poor. They failed across the board, lied to me and never even so much as said they were sorry. Life is full of lessons and I learned one here.

The guys at the dealership are great to deal with. They actually care about what they sell and that carries that over to the service department too. I bought a used vehicle that started to show minor surface rust along the rear wheel wells 2+ years into my ownership. They covered the repairs and did a fantastic job!!! Bought a 2016 F150 Certified pre owned with 41000 miles. Truck came with 1 key instead of the required 2, came without floor mats, came with a glove box that would not stay closed. Two days after the purchase the truck began to blow blue/gray smoke from the exhaust long with having a super rough idle. Two weeks later, theres no motor oil on the dipstick. I was told by the service manager that I was checking the oil improperly How did this truck get a certified pre owned tag? Yes its covered under warranty, due to a Ford technical service bulletin that is well documented online. So I paid extra money for a CPO truck, but that money will surely cover the repair cost on the truck. I could have bought another truck nonCPO for far less money.so In a nutshell, I prepaid for these repairs, even though theyre under warranty.

Sturman and Larkin Ford was the best place I could of chosen to take my 2015 Escape. I was hesitant going to a dealership for many reasons, but I am so glad I did. I booked online 3 hours early and they had the exact time slot available that I needed. The whole process was done efficiently and explained well, the techs made sure to address and solve all problems, and in under 1.5 hours. I was very impressed with everything, from the staff to the fully stocked waiting room with many snacks and coffee. The dealership was very clean, everything went smoothly and I got so much done for only $55! I will definitely return.

I bought a Focus Titanium from Sturman and Larkin Ford in the spring of 2013. I have had all of my service done there, including changing and storing my summer and snow tires. The service department staff are always pleasant and courteous. I work nearby, and they always provide quick shuttle service before and after service.During my last tire change, one of the pressure sensors got damaged. They noticed it before I picked up the car, and got it changed, no charge. Did I mention they store whichever set of tires I am not using (I bought the tires there)? Its really handy.The original sale was not stressful, and I hate buying cars. I like this place a lot.
