The guy with the pink beard is like the Jesus of pool knowledge, he can pretty much make water separate with how well versed he is. Give him a raise or a bonus because he is driving business into your establishment and creating repeating customers and referrals. Recognize his hard work because you don’t find these type of people everyday.

I was thrilled with the customer service when purchasing a pool liner this year...especially with the Covid madness and them being so hard to get. HOWEVER, we are not overly thrilled with the installers. They did a great job on the actual install, but they left the 15 year old rotted liner in my driveway and did not tell us ahead of time that they wouldn’t dispose. They also could clearly see where and how we drain our pool when needed and when they drained the remaining 2 inches of old water they caused a bit of a mud/gravel slide.

My pool got a hole in the liner over last winter. My husband called Ed in October & told him about it. Weve regularly used them in the past. I deposited 1/2 down in February expecting a call eventually to schedule the install. We picked the style & they put the old liner in so they knew the specs of the pool. Covid came & apparently put a hold on the place that makes the liners. Fine, I understand that, but we had to keep calling to see when we were going to get the liner installed. He would say that he needed to come out & measure before ordering & also kept asking what style we chose. Meanwhile, the style was on the receipt from when I deposited half in Feb! A month or so would go by & we called again to ask when was the liner going to be installed. Once again, have to come out & measure & what style did you pick? Really? Month after month went by, no liner yet & it was a super HOT summer! Finally, like the 3rd wk in AUGUST, we get the liner! I figured wed have it by maybe June so that we can enjoy it for a while. I asked for a discount for the inconvenience & the wait. I was told there will be no discount & that I could go elsewhere & we would be given our deposit back if so. I felt like even though I deposited half in Feb, we were put on the back burner for other higher priced jobs! We will be utilizing another pool service from now on! Customer service is a thing of the past these days with many places unfortunately! I work in a high customer service field & we do all that we can to make people happy & give them what they pay for! Live & learn I guess. Skyview has definitely lost a customer!

We came here after a horrible experience at pool city with rude lazy employees and overcharging at the register for items marked on sale. The young man that helped us at Skyview was knowledgeable and friendly and best of all, his knowledge helped us fix the problem we were having with our pool. Although we live too far to be a regular customer, I would recommend this place over Pool City any day.

One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had! I initially sent them an email inquiring about pool sizes and price estimates. The email I received from Darlene was whether or not I had a building permit and ordinances in my borough. I have no idea how this relates to my question about prices. If I decided to proceed with purchasing a pool I would do what I needed to do to obtain a permit from my borough. I responded saying that I felt she was not being upfront if she couldn’t provide me with price estimates. She responded apologizing for the miscommunication and said she could have her installer look at my yard and offer some guidance. I never received a call. The following week we were out looking into purchasing a pool and decided to stop by and speak with them in person. Huge mistake!! They were so disorganized, inappropriate, and rude. I felt extremely rushed the 10 mins I was there and she in no way seemed to be interested in helping. She asked where I live. When I told her she said “why is everyone from Baldwin”? What kind of response in that?? I also overheard her telling another customer when a customer asked what time they came in that she came in at 8 but was “too busy” to speak to anyone before they opened at 10. I was shocked by her comments! Perhaps they’re overwhelmed with customers. However, it’s not an excuse to treat and talk to people that way! My advice would be to take your business to Alpine or Valley pools. We had great customer service at both places!

We recently had a pool installed by Skyview. The price was very reasonable for the stellar installation. The installers were efficient and communicated the steps of the process very well. After the installation was complete they ensured that we knew every detail of how to operate and perform maintenance. Highly recommend.

I’m giving 3 stars based off the girls that work at skyview and the fact that we finally got a pool. My advice if you are going to purchase a pool here do not use their contractor. You will be much better off hiring on your own. Our pool has wrinkles in it and hasn’t been installed for 2 weeks. The floor of the pool is bumpy and uneven. Our backyard now requires $8000 worth of landscaping because of how poorly done this was. We expected some landscaping but not what we got. Just be careful and talk to other contractors

The people that own the place are very knowledgeable and very personable. When I walk in, they greet me by using my 1st name. All of the employees are always so helpful and They always have everything that I need. They also do a lot of donations for make-a-wish and that, itself, says a lot about them.

Took my pool water sample in about a day and a half before a pool party... Pool was cloudy with some algae problems. Figured I didnt have time to mess with it myself. 6 different chemicals and $117 later, I walked out with a box and a printout. Stayed home and literally set my timer to add everything at the time/quantity as directed. The next day the pool was STILL cloudy and had some algae and now smelled like chemicals, too. Joy. Nothing in toxic levels so we could swim but the water didnt test in toxic levels before, either. So I wasted an evening and $117. Live and learn. The only reason I gave them two stars is because they were nice at check out.

Bought a pool heater from these people, everything seemed fine. Transaction was very smooth as it should be. Then delivery day came, it was agreed upon the heater would be delivered to my backyard and set near the cement slabs it was going to be put on. This did not happen they dropped it off in my front yard, a 2000 dollar heater in my front yard while I was at work. I called them to ask why this happened and was put on the phone with the delivery manager and was treated rudely and was told all you people are the same. Yes I paid top dollar for a heater and followed my part of the agreement by paying you, all this jackass had to do was deliver to the back of my house. I hope this idiot continues to do business like this and someone drives by and steals someones heater one day.

Helpful and knowledgeable personnel and well equipped store!

Tony and his team installed our 15 x 24 pool. They worked together like family. They set us up for our first season too. Great work.Also, I think a significant advantage is the free monthly lab work Skyview provides (not just a pH test with litmus paper like every other place we shopped at-not helpful in controlling algae for example). Friendly staff walk you through your application of chemicals each visit. The maintenance horror stories pool owners felt compelled to tell me have, thankfully, not been my experience here.No pressure to buy what you dont need either-rather I have been grateful for the advice from Tony to buy the Happy Bottom which makes the pool bottom cushy and to Sandy for helping me get the right equipment at the best price-stairs were a great call and the Doodle Bug has earned praise from friends for giving us the cleanest pool [theyve] ever seen.We are pleased with our purchase and I truly believe our added outdoor environment has enriched our quality of life.

DONT GO THERE!! Staff didnt want to be bothered from the second I walked in the door. Not friendly at all. Didnt want to help me unless I paid $15 for chemical print out or bought their chemicals...which I would have had they not been so rude. As I was walking away, the older, heavier set blond woman was mumbling under her breath about me. Incredibly bad customer service...my kids even noticed! Turns out they are the family who owns it! Go to Pool City West Mifflin instead. They took the time to help me figure out what was needed to fix my pool. Ask for Sandy, McKayla or Hannah. All of them very friendly and patient, even without me buying anything there (turns out I had all the chemicals I needed already). Will never go back to Skyview. Will definable go back to Pool City. Skyview also has a bad repor with their neighbors too, as per speaking with them.

They are very knowledgeable and can help you with all your pool needs.

We purchased our pool from Sky View and buy all our supplies from them also. Great family owned business.

People were nice, but over priced. $15. to have water tested. Then suggested over 10 different chemicals needed. I chose to go to Walmart for 2 different chemicals & saved over $100 & fixed the problem.
