John was great, listening to what I wanted instead of directing me to what he thought I wanted. The parts department and service team really came through in assisting me in ordering and installing all the “extras”. This was my second new bike purchase from Hot Metal. The service team was outstanding through out the 113 ci build of my 03 Deuce it basically gave my bike a whole new life and one of the meanest motors anyone could ever want or have for their bike. This build made my bike a completely different bike and I know there isnt another one like it in Pittsburgh. The service team..mechanic service writer and everyone involved were and are nothing but Professionals in their work. Cant wait until I get my next bike they will build that one as well

Went in on a Saturday morning to have a tire replaced under warranty, the service guys were polite and friendly. Tire was replaced and I was on my way by noon I actually expected to wait longer but I was only the 5th one waiting. This is first time with any kind of service there as it is over 1.5 hrs. Knew they had first come first serve on the weekends as I bought 2 bikes there so far

I took my bike there to get my gears fixed. I had a appointment On May 20th called on the 27th of May and they said the did not even look at it yet called back on the Jun 4 th and told me how much it was going to be So I went up there and pay them for it I did not get my bike till July 2 I understand they had to wait for partI rode it home about 2 mile. and did not get a chance to ride it till 3 days later it was leaking from where they put the gasket on and 2nd gear was making a noise I went back up there and told them what was going on they said It should not be doing that bring it up Friday on July9th and. they well look at it and call me back that night to tell me what was going onNo one called me back 5 days later I called them back and ask them what is going on with my bike they said they did not even look at it yet and did not know when they were going to get to it they just got a bike in there that is a big job and I ask what about my bike It was there for all most 2 months and didnt even ride my bike 20 miles and there was something wrong with the gears already that they were supposed to fixThey said they dont know when they are going to get to it and they will call me back when they doI ask how is that right I had my bike there in May and just got it back on July 2 and have to bring it back all ready because it was not fix right the first time they said its not but there is nothing they can do about

This dealership is 45 minutes away from where I live, but it was well worth the trip to get my first motorcycle. Being over 30yrs old, I felt it was time to make the financial leap. I took my dad, an experienced rider, with me to help me make a good buying choice. The salesman, John, was very informative, gave me options, and wasnt pushy. I wasnt sure if I would find something suitable and affordable, but I certainly did and Im happy with my purchase and the treatment of the sales staff. They made me feel at home, like I had been riding my whole life even though Id yet to take a riders course. I highly recommend this dealer.

Loved it. The staff was so nice, friendly, ans helpful. They treated my son like a prince. He felt so special. They treated my boyfriend like a king. It was really good to see him smiling. He was in a horrible motorcycle accident on July 12th, 2020. He has had 4 surgeries already. He has been in a wheelchair since his accident. They treated him like royalty.

Went to get my tires balanced and turns out my neck bearings were loose. Got it all fixed in no time but, i had to ride home in a bad storm. Harley rain gear kept me dry.

If you need service and are in the Pittsburgh area, dont even think twice, go to these guys. Sarah in service was so helpful and got me in for an emergency service when everyone else wanted to leave me stranded for over a week at a minimum. They diagnosed the issue in record time which turned out to be my voltage regulator. Found me the part and had to wait till the next morning to get it since the other dealer was already closed. They were nice enough to give me a ride to a hotel for the night and picked me up the next morning. By the way the bike was fixed before they opened that next morning and I was back on the road before 10 am. Hot Metal has an amazing staff and I would recommend them before anyone else in that area.

7/13/20 - This is my initial review, stay tune for updates depending on outcome of current issues. I traded a very well kept 2004 Ultra on a 2015 Heritage. I received low book on the trade and paid high book on the purchase. I understand everyone needs to make money so this is not a complaint just the facts and a heads up if you are planing to trade in your scoot. The salesman John is great, very professional and knowledgeable. I live nearly 100 miles away, when I got the bike home and tried to restart it I discovered it had blown a fuse and when I tried to replace the fuse it sparked which tells me there is a short somewhere in the electrical system. (makes me wonder if this is a pre-existing issue and maybe why the bike was traded). I immediately called and was told Hot Metal would arrange to have the bike picked up a week later (understand, this leaves me bikeless for at least 2 weeks, not acceptable after dropping the CASH I did on this bike). I loaded the bike on a trailer, spent another 4 hours plus gas, and hauled it back. Sarah in service is great, she had the Mechanic on duty immediately check it out but unfortunately it was not a quick fix so now we wait. I am truly hoping that for the money laid out Hot Metal makes this right. STAY TUNED7/20/20 - We be good. Hot Metal replaced the left hand control switch which had a short and delivered the bike to me within 3 days. I have put over 300 miles since I got it back and everything is good. Even though no one wants to have problems when they lay out the bucks for something like this is, it is nice to know Hot Metal did all they could to make it right. The ONLY reason I dont give 5 stars is the trade value verses their retail price which in non-negotiable. I get it, just dont like it.

I will say that the woman who answered the phone was cordial and helpful. The staff when I went in was rude and gave you the impression that they were above you. In the middle of COVID and not a soul was wearing a mask in the establishment. Never will walk in that place again.

I purchased my first Harley about a month ago. I was greeted at the door when I walked in and given space to look around on my own. John was very helpful in the sales process and conveniently had me do a lot of the paperwork and behind the scenes stuff at home before coming in. I was in and out on the day of the sale in about an hour and a half. Good staff and friendly customer service.
