Frank took care of my moms Civic with not much advance warning other than, AAA tow truck is dropping off the car later today! Fair price and quick service (less than a day) for a replacement starter. I would definitely use their services again; trustworthy and reputable!

Had my f150 pick up serviced last week and must say i was very satisfied. The location has been in business for a long time ave they are very respectful and honest. The vehicle repair was quick, and very affordable. No hassle, no nonsense. I will use then again when the need arises.

I would like to share a horrible experience that I had with this business. This was my third visit for auto work, with the first two visits being a good experience, probably because the mechanics working there catered to my needs directly. For my third visit, however, I was dealing with the assistant behind the desk. So, I went on a Monday because my gas tank flap was not closing, the woman behind the desk took all the details and told me that they will order a part that needs to be replaced, and will call me once the part arrives. She said it will take about three days for the part to get delivered. I waited for an entire week before going back to them on the following Monday. The woman said that she will call me in a couple of hours with the update. Surely enough, there was no call from her. I went back again on Friday, and she told me that the mechanic said that it will be better if I got the part myself and they will fix it. I am not as dissatisfied with this response as I am with with followed next. I simply asked her why she did not call me and she said there is a lot of work and that she is the only one out there. Not even once did she apologize for dropping the ball bigtime, and did not even show any interest in customer satisfaction. I wish i had to deal with the mechanics directly. Perhaps my experience would have been the same as the first two times. This is not how a business treats their customers, especially a business that has been around forever. I will definitely not recommend using this business for your auto needs!

These are the most honest trustworthy mechanics you will ever meet. Thought I was having a starter issue when in all reality my battery connector was real loose from a different shady mechanic I went too to get a new battery. They could of just charged me for a new starter, alternator or something else like most mechanics would do but they kept it honest, they weren’t just trying to make a quick buck off me and that is why I only trust them when it comes to repairs on my car. What I thought was going to be an expensive repair that was going to set me back financially only cost me a few bucks. So thank you for being honest and very trustworthy.

Would’ve given a lower score if they didn’t correct their mistakes and had great customer service that ended up with a great experience. It’s when things go wrong, it shows the true value of a company. I went to get tires changed and upon finishing the job I discovered the next day that they put on the wrong tires, called Frank, he apologized and asked me to go in to get the right ones. The right tires costed a little more than the ones that were put on, but they ate the cost and actually followed up few days later to check on me, shows how much they value their customers. And Franks a cool guy.

Car: Toyota Prius 2011Problems: Rear lights were not working, and burning smell emanating from front of vehicleRepairs: Frank and his team troubleshot this problem to a completely burned-out light assembly in the FRONT of the car, that was somehow still working but that had created a hard short that fried the fuse for the REAR lights! I can tell you right now, this was found only through wiring harness testing and high level attention to detail.Before bringing this back to Frank and his team, I did stop by Toyota Service center to have them take a look as Ive moved away from West New York and the dealership was closer to my new home, but before they would even touch the car I wouldve had to agree to pay them $130/hh just for labor, not including the diagnostic or parts.The entire repair charge with Ramirez & Sons including the diagnostic, labor, and parts came to only $145.20 TOTAL!!ALSO - - - -I previously owned a 2007 Toyota Prius that I brought to Ramirez & Sons to maintain over the course of 2018/2019. I ended up shipping this car down to Texas for my sister as a replacement after she totaled her car in an accident.I shared this info with Frank before I shipped the car down and he printed out all of the previous service reminders and potential issues to be addressed for the car so that my sister would have some documentation to take with her when she has to take the car for service at a mechanic where she lives.I truly appreciate how Frank and his team put people first and show through their actions that they car about your car running as it should.Obviously, I recommend that you choose them as your Go - To mechanics. - Krv

Had a battery issue earlier today, car didnt start after getting to supermarket. Called these guys up, they were super knowledgeable of potential causes of my issue. They even offered contacts for a tow. I regret declining. However when I finally got there after waiting for my insurance tow for 4 hrs, they were about to close in 5 mins. They checked my issue, diagnosed it quickly, and were able to replaced my battery immediately. They even stayed a couple mins after close to take care of it. Beyond grateful bc they saved my week.

I came for a a problem I had on my brakes back in august. I thought the problem was fixed. Through out this 2 months a noise started to come out of the breaks that I was not comfortable with so I took it back to Auto Shop. To my luck the owner was there and he was amazing. Not only did he fixed the issue he replaced the parts that would correct it. He was very friendly and said that he would take care of it. He speaks to customers like family and I like that in any business. I highly recommend this Auto shop to anybody. I will be using them always for any of my auto issues.

Typically a good place to take in my car but last visit dissapointed. Brought in my car because it was making a stalling noise when accelerating. After visit, and $250+ later, no one tested the car before or after and when driving in the highway the next day car still had same issue. Taking care somewhere else for diagnostic and will follow up with review.

Staff is fantastic! Great help and really go the distance for you. I took a car there for a pre-purchase inspection, they were very detailed and ended up saving me alot of money by informing me of the issues the car had.

Ramirez and Sons are a solid auto repair shop with slightly higher cost/hr than most. They are very upfront about what your costs will be but sometimes they lack the expertise for foreign cars. Overall they are a good regular mechanic that at times can be a bit over booked.

Took my car here, they said it could be a cheap or an expensive part that needed to be replaced. Swapped out the cheap part which didnt fix the problem, so then they swapped out the expensive part. It still didnt work and then try figured out the cheap part was the problem, they just put a broken one in. No apology, still spent a lot of money on the expensive part. I didnt feel good about the process and would not go here again.

Honestly, this place is a big rip off. Another greedy mechanic trying to cheat and get as much out of you as possible. I had a trouble with Engine light and went to this place last week. Jose, who is supposed to be one of the main guy here told me its a case of engine misfire and my spark plugs and wires need to be replaced. I know that a spark plug costs 5bucks (there are 4 of them) and the wires another 30-40bucks (these are the prices i get on internet for my care make/model - i am sure these guys have it for lesser). It takes about 20mins to replace this. They charged me $380 for 20 min job. When I questioned it, they become defensive and started giving wayward excuses. Seriously, if you go about doing you business honestly, it will reap you benefits but these guys obviously dont want to do that. And sadly there are enough people who get into there trap regularly.

Unless you need something small changed, avoid this place. I dont know if they are not fully trained and/or equipped, they will take forever, you will continue to pay and at the end you still have the main problem you came with.
