The owner sounded belligerent, nasty and unprofessional on the phone, and then hung up on me because he seemingly did not want to believe or fathom that his favored employee would cut corners doing a routine service maintenance on my A.C. Other companies open the front panel of the AC, check the coils, the pan, the blue light, etc., check the temperature in the air handler, ( not done) and routinely clean the drain pipe without being asked to. etc, etc.etc. And the A.C. performance now is not the same or as good as it was before. It is now warm and stuffy between blower cycles, higher humidity, and was set properly before not to perform like this. Believe what you want and yes, I accept a refund for Inadequate service performance and Unacceptable behavior toward a customer.

The tenant at a rental property my wife and I own called on Sunday to say the AC wasnt cooling properly, so I immediately called the 2 previous companies we had used. Hoping to get someone out to address the tenants issue ASAP, I left messages requesting a service call shortly after the tenant called that Sunday morning. With no call back from either company by that afternoon, I went online and looked for reputable AC company based upon POSITIVE Google reviews.After looking for highly rated companies (4.8 - 5.0 stars), it was clear that Shoreline not only was a 5 Star company, but all of the reviews were believable and consistent in their descriptions regarding the the quality and value of Shorelines work and the professionalism, responsiveness and timeliness of their service.Within 10 minutes of my leaving a message Sunday afternoon, Kevin called me back and agreed to meet me at the property the next day at the time the tenant said would be most convenient (anytime after 4pm).Giving me a heads-up courtesy call that he was on his way at 3:40pm, Kevin arrived (exactly) at 4pm. After thoroughly examining the AC components, both outside (on the roof) and inside in the attic, Kevin took the time to explain that there wasnt a problem with the system, but rather the tenants expectation of cooling the house to 65 degrees when the outside heat index was almost 105 degrees. Given an inside room temperature of 78 degrees, he said the AC unit was doing well considering the excessively high outdoor heat. He also took time to answer the tenants questions and explain that not only was the AC unit was working properly, he made a number of reasonable and logical suggestions including advising the tenant to keep the blinds and curtains closed (which they were not) during the day to reduce the effect of outside heating from the mid-day and afternoon sun allowing the AC to cool with less stress and more efficiently.Kevin and Shoreline AC are now my #1 go to AC service company for me and the first I will recommend whenever anyone I know has an AC problem.Thank you Shoreline, and thank you Kevin!

Our previous A/C contractor has recommended that due to the age of our outside unit that the system in our condo be replaced. Th unit was 9 years old. I obtained a quote that was downright outrageous. My general contractor recommended Shoreline. Since we were only in town for a few days, Kevin came by ASAP and provided a quote that afternoon. The quote was very reasonable. They installed the unit the next day. I have experience in the building trades and watched the installation. The guys were very professional. They protected the adjacent surfaces and floors. The new system was up and running in a few hours. Kevin even knocked off the cost of a new T-stat since I wanted to keep my old T-stat since it was connected to the security system. I highly recommend Shoreline.

Fantastic, trustworthy, and Fast!! My grandmother had a broken A/C unit in her 2nd floor condo and hired another company to go out and give her a quote. They told her that her unit needed to be trashed as it was unfixable and she had to purchase a new unit from them at $3800. We decided to go with Shoreline after having two separate estimates done to replace a large 5 ton, 12 seer, in attic air handler and compressor. Couldnt be happier with that decision. Both of the companies we opted not to go with told me that my attic stairs would need to be removed, one told me the job would take two days, and they were both significantly higher in price. Kevin, the genteleman I dealt with, removed the older unit and installed the new without having to remove my attic stairs, was in and out in under 6 hours, and actually cleaned up after himself (which I was fully expecting to have to do myself). Ive had a few neighbors tell me some horror stories about replacing their units and I cant say enough about how impressed I am with their service. Would highly recommend to friends or family and will definitely be calling them back in a couple of years to replace the second unit on the opposite side of the house.

We have used Kevin with Shoreline since he started in the A/C business, Kevin does the job right the first time, we set up a regular maintenance schedule with him and he is always on time. And with all this craziness going on he had is mask and gloves, and took every precaution to be safe.

The price was as stated to replace both handler and compressor, they showed up on time and completed the same day.
