Earth and Sugar has INCREDIBLE options & I loved the creativity they provided with frosting options! We wound up going for Marble with Hazelnut frosting for our main cake and they were able to customize the top tier to be gluten free Lemon and Lavender cake. Hello, how good does that sound? It was as good as it sounds. We definitely saved the leftovers and ate off them after the wedding!

They made my wedding cake and it was PERFECT! The whole process; from the cake tasting to designing the cake style, to the execution were all 10/10. The cake tasted delicious, probably the best I’ve had: it wasn’t the plain vanilla wedding cake, it had flavor, texture and so moist. All our guests loved it too. Thank you for producing exactly as we discussed and although it was a combination of 3 different designs, it was EXACTLY IT!Thank you for the yummy cake 😊I will CERTAINLY use them again!!

We had a wonderful experience with Earth and Sugar. From the cake testing to the delivery of the sweets, everything was perfect. The cake we selected was gluten free and our guests could not even tell! We also did some small bites for sweets and they were wonderful as well! I used Earth & Sugar for my wedding cake last weekend and it was hands down one of the best cakes Ive ever had! My now husband and I went to Earth & Sugar back in August for a cake tasting and the place is so cute! Everyone there was so nice, welcoming, and enthusiastic. We tried so many options that were honestly all amazing. The red velvet was fantastic and Im not even the biggest red velvet person. We ultimately decided on the almond cake with dulce de leche and vanilla buttercream. The almond cake was phenomenal and had actual bits of thinly sliced almonds in it.I decided on a 4 layer cake with 3 of the 4 being faux since we were doing a small, intimate wedding. The cake was grand! And I couldnt even tell you which layer was faux, it looked perfect!Apparently my florist didnt bring enough flowers for the cake design I wanted, so one of the girls at Earth & Sugar went all around town to source flowers for the cake design I wanted. To state that was something they did that went above & beyond is an understatement!!! These girls know and love their craft and Im so impressed with how everything turned out. This was the cake of my dreams!! Everyone loved this cake so much - it was moist, flavorful, and perfectly presented. I am STILL eating this cake! I will definitely be using them in the future for any cakes I need!!! Thank you girls!

We had a great experience with Earth and Sugar. We used them for our wedding cake. Neither my husband nor I are huge cake people, but it came with our wedding package through the hotel we were getting married at. We mostly worked with our hotel, but Earth and Sugar sent us cake overnight to try. I sent photos of the design I was looking for. They connected with my floral vendor to use the same florals. The cake was delivered on time and in perfect condition. It was delicious and several of our wedding guests said it was the best wedding cake theyve ever had!

We ordered cake for our sons first birthday.Due to Covid we didn’t have many guests,except our family and we didn’t need a big cake but we wanted it to b pretty and very creative.So we contacted E&S to get a beautiful, well decorated and creative cake for his big day like everything on there social media was showing.Money wasn’t a problem I explained that I wanted a real sugar figurines (jungle was a theme ) and I explained that one place offered me edible pictures and that I didn’t want that, that my idea is to get real cute animal figurines on the 2 tier cake.I even sent pictures of the cakes from the internet that I liked and shared them with the designers of the cake.They offered me 2 tier where only 1 tier(6’) is edible and that most of the budget goes towards the design.I agreed since we didn’t need many servings.And final product was from the design we got bunch of plastic toys (top 20$ from Amazon) and greenery (10$)and one small cake for 1000$ + 160$ delivery fee to Miami.I don’t think these people doesn’t know how to make beautiful cake,and great design.But b very cautious and careful and make sure you triple check what r u getting for your money.Because they will try something like this definitely.Thank you for your response,hope everyone are well and safe and of course I wish everyone healthy and safe holidays.But I disagree with you,everything all the way to our last email was not mentioning toys, last email was late couple days and I missed word toys looked at pictures only .I didn’t pay attention to word toys because my mood board (pictures I sent)in my conversation I specifically asked for hand made figures that look like carton, artsy not real looking animals since they were for a baby.And I was at another bakery before you and they sad they can make edible pictures not figures and I called you to ask can you accommodate what I was asking and looking,and I got yes as an answer not we can do it but we can only stick plastic toys and mold a tree.But I don’t want to continue with these emails since you didn’t even had decency to accept that all of that was not made how it was discussed last email with the design had word toys mentioned for the first time,I didn’t pay attention to it since I wouldn’t expect something like that.It was very sneaky but if that is the way you want to represent yourself no problem!I will just make sure I never send anyone to you!

I was never able to go to their shop in person (thanks Covid) but worked with Allison their production via email and she made it an all around awesome experience! I told her the party was a pizza theme and I wanted a two tier cake and the team sketched the perfect idea/vision that I wanted for this! They delivered it perfectly safe so I didn’t have to worry about transporting it (totally worth the fee I was hesitant to pay for delivery). We worked with Earth and Sugar for our destination wedding in Miami Beach in April 2019. The communication was great, and the cake was exactly what we wanted. Their Production Manager, Allison, graciously arranged for tasting samples to be sent to our temporary address in Hollywood, FL so we did not have to make the long trip to WPB. We appreciated this immensely as it freed our time to meet with many other wedding vendors during a short planning trip in FL. The final wedding cake was strikingly beautiful and delicious. I was beyond excited when I found out Earth and Sugar was one of the bakers I could select from for my wedding at Jupiter Beach Resort! I often find that wedding cakes are dry and by no means was that the case here. The cake had great flavor (we did vanilla cake with dulce de leche filling and Italian buttercream) and was so moist!! I also surprised my husband with a cookie cake. It was such a hit. Finally we ordered some gluten free cupcakes for some of our guests and they were so appreciative of the consideration to their dietary restrictions.I can’t wait to order more sweet treats from Earth and Sugar in the future!

Our wedding cake was spectacular. Earth & Sugar hit the nail right on the head as to the look we were going for. As for the taste and quality of the cake, we could not have been happier. The cake was moist with generous amounts of filling (dulce de leche and a super flavorful vanilla -- which is normally not my favorite, but theirs was something special). We were helped by Allison and Janderyn and had a 100% stress-free experience which if were being honest is probably the most important thing you can ask for from a vendor during the chaos that is wedding planning. Would absolutely recommend Earth & Sugar!

Earth & Sugar is contracted with my catering company. My Fiancé and I drove 45 min to attend a cake tasting before our wedding. We were very excited about the three tier, wave texture cake we chose. It was supposed to be one tier of Red Velvet with cream cheese filling and two tiers of chocolate with dulce de leche filling. We were so excited about the uniqueness of this cake, that we jumped the gun and told our guests about it! The day of our wedding we received a naked decorated cake that was some sort of vanilla with chocolate chip flavor. This was exactly what we did not want. THEY DELIVERED THE WRONG CAKE! When I saw the wrong cake I was already dressed in my wedding gown and scheduled to walk down the aisle in an hour. There was nothing I could do. We had guests ask about the red velvet and chocolate cake that we promised them. When I respond that “we got the wrong cake” they are shocked! Meanwhile I feel so embarrassed.Im sure most weddings have details that don’t present as planned. This was supposed to be a key personalized detail to my wedding. This is something we should have had control of and should not have gone this wrong. If I were to perform this kind of overlook at my job, I would be sued for negligence.After the wedding, my wedding coordinator reached out to Earth & Sugar. Their best response was to give me a $200 “refund”. This was a three tier cake for 85 people. I don’t know how they came up with $200. That was like rubbing salt on the wound. Doesn’t matter how good their cake can taste. If they don’t deliver what was ordered they are a joke of a business. I would Not trust them with any special event!

Me and my wife loved our wedding cake!! We had a BEAUTIFUL cake, ( we got the exotic cake) With macaroons (my favorite desserts) that were hiding the whole cake. Strawberry were inside the cake and so were Rasberry. My Wifes favorite snack and fruit was on there (chocolate and Blueberry), etc if I keep going on I will write 6 million paragraphs. I could not upload the photos because I had got a new iphone and my photos were not backed-up. Over-all the creativity blew me away.

We used Earth & Sugar for our August wedding at the Addison in Boca Raton and were thrilled with how things turned out! The cake was absolutely gorgeous, delicious and looked exactly like the photo I selected. The team was very responsive and easy to work with. Since theyre a preferred vendor from the Addison, the cake was already there when I arrived on my wedding day. The process couldnt have been easier! We went for a tasting at their location in West Palm Beach and the process of selecting our flavors (red velvet on bottom tier and almond for middle tier) was very easy and fun! The Addison saved our top tier, which is supposed to be eaten on the 1st wedding anniversary, but it was so delicious we ended up eating it during the week after the wedding and will order a new cake from them next year for our anniversary. With all the bad that 2020 has brought, our wedding plan was derailed (more than once) and like many brides, I honestly had no idea if we would get married this year at all. At the VERY last minute this month, we decided to a tiny ceremony together, and while I didn’t have most of the traditional wedding things done (styled my own hair, makeup, flowers), I wanted to make sure we had an unforgettable cake that was also dairy free. That’s not super easy to find, but thankfully the team at Earth and Sugar helped make my dream came true. Not only did they make the best cake I’ve ever had (and I am NOT a cake person), they made us a vegan vanilla-guava buttercream cake in less than three days that was absolutely to die for!In fact, I’m writing this review because as I sit here this Sunday night I am thinking about the leftover cake in my freezer and JUST told my (now) husband, that I’m dying for wedding cake. Only 350 days to go before I can take it out for a second taste. Hah! You better believe I have a countdown going.Thank you so much to Allison and the team for dealing with my frazzled self so patiently and helping one thing go SO RIGHT on my wedding day. I had a birthday cake from Earth and Sugar the design was absolutely gorgeous and the taste of the cake was marvelous. They were responsible and on time. my cake Desigh was exactly as I wanted. Earth and Sugar made the most beautiful and delicious wedding cake I had ever seen. I choose earth and sugar because I follow them on Instagram and couldn’t believe all the beautiful cakes they make. I never imagined that something so beautiful could actually be that flavorful. We had Lemon and Vanilla cake- I LOVED the lemon and my now Husband loved the Vanilla. I had many guests comment on how great the cake tasted. Allyson from Earth and Sugar was who I was in contact with during the cake design and ordering process. I changed my mind many times on number of tiers, number of people to feed, and design. Allyson was so accommodating with getting me quotes, advices, and making sure I would be happy with the end result. I couldn’t be happier with the end result. Earth and Sugar are more than bakers- they are true artists. THANK YOU!

Do not hire earth and sugar! On my wedding day everything was great until they brought the cake, the cake had little black hairs from clothing on it, an eyelash, and a hair from someone’s head. Also not to mention the icing was so bad the decorations actually fell off. Hope this prevents you from making the same mistake I made.

True art. Not only are their cakes absolutely stunning and unique on the outside, the. Cake actually tastes amazing! My favorite is their red velvet. It’s full of flavor and the texture is devine! Every birthday celebration requires an Earth and Sugar cake. Nothing else will do. My children have peanut allergies and they rarely get to enjoy dessert, but Eart and Sugar goes above and beyond and provides them with a safe cake!

I’ve had a few of Earth & Sugar’s cake and I am always pleased with my order. They have a very friendly staff and their cakes are delicious especially their carrot cake. I would highly recommend them.

My weds cake was included in a catering package for my wedding. I was more than devastated when I saw the cake. It look messy not done properly. You could see the uneven white icing trough the entire cake. It was not finish properly and don’t look like the picture I chose. Was the worst of my wedding.

Okay, our wedding was just over two weeks ago and people have still been texting me and calling me about how DELICIOUS our wedding cake was. Some said they are still dreaming about it... as are we. I could not have had a better experience than with the entire staff at Earth and Sugar. I am a total dessert girl and my expectations were high, they KNOCKED it out of the park with our four tiered dolce de leche cake. Our cake tasting was fun and the most important thing for us is the team really LISTENED to our design idea. We wanted a classic, timeless and elegant cake. They were one of the only vendors that truly LISTENED AND EXECUTED perfectly. I cannot say the same for the majority of our wedding vendors sadly. We are so pleased and happy with our cake, we CANNOT WAIT for the EARTH AND SUGAR TEAM to be apart of MORE special occasions on our journey through life. I wouldnt even consider anyone else. Okay after writing this I want more of their cake right now :)

Earth and Sugar has been the worst bakery experience.They cancelled on me a month before my wedding. They were very rude and extremely unprofessional to cancel on a bride right before her wedding after we declined our other options . I hope people read this and realize that this very well can happen to them . Steer FAR FAR AWAY!!!! .So wrong and really I hope this never happens to any bride or anyone looking to use their service ......and also they are very very pricey !!!

Absolutely book this vendor. Desiree is incredible! She was incredibly prompt through email and the tasting was so awesome. And finally, of course, was the incredible cake. It was gorgeous. Exactly what I wanted and the flavor and texture was incredible. Let me put it this way: I normally do not like cake. I LOVED this cake--it was absolutely stunning. I only had about 31 people at my wedding and I was worried the cake would look puny since it didnt have to serve a lot of people, but it looked perfect. We had a vanilla cake with tres leches filling and buttercream frosting and we got so many compliments on it. They also worked to incorporate my grandparents cake topper from their wedding 70 years ago! Earth & Sugar is the best!!

Amazing holiday cake!

Earth & Sugar created our dream cake for our wedding in Miami in February. I wasnt able to meet with them as I was planning from NYC, but Desiree and Janderyn were so helpful over the phone and email, and even overnighted cake samples to us so that we could do a remote tasting. I wanted a specific pale aqua color, which of course they matched perfectly, and they worked with my florist, Veronica from Anthology (who I also highly recommend) to create a gorgeous, simple, sophisticated (yet not too stuffy) style. Aside from the fact that it was perfect-looking, it was actually perfect-tasting! Our guests RAVED about the texture and taste of the alternating vanilla and almond layers. Perfectly sweet and not too moist. Thanks again for creating our dream cake!

Fancy bakery. Fancy prices but worth it.

I went for our cake tasting a few months back and couldnt wait to eat it again at our wedding. The cake isnt something most brides are excited about, but I COULDNTT WAIT to have more! And I typically dont care for cake. We had a lemon cake as the bottom teir, and carrot cake for the top two teirs. I know, carrot cake for your wedding sounds strange, but it is the most incredible cake I have ever had. After the wedding I took some leftovers into work, and all my coworkers were gushing over how moist and incredible the flavor was. Many of them said it was the best cake they have ever had. Not only is the cake incredible, but she is truly an artist. Every cake she makes is a piece of art.

I got married at Benvenuto in February of this 2018. Like another low rated review, Earth & Sugar was highly recommended by my coordinator. They made everything super easy with setting up the appointment, super friendly, and so easy to get along with! Every single question I had was easily and quickly responded to.Once my wedding day came around, my cake was made completely wrong. I clarified multiple times in writing about a gluten free tier and asked about which one it was, and they ensured me they would let my coordinator and venue handle it. Right before my cake cutting nobody knew, and it just added unneccary stress to my night. My husband and I couldn’t enjoy our wedding cake on our special night. I didn’t get a cake topper because I wanted florals on top of my cake and around it instead. No flowers on top of my cake - at all. Once I brought this to their attention after my honeymoon, their excuse was that my florist didn’t provide them with enough flowers for the cake, even though they ordered what they needed and it wasn’t enough. so they made it look good to their liking.. No apology, just excuse after excuse.I think there’s a simple solution of calling either myself, my maid of honor, or my coordinator to see what to do???? Or use common sense and problem solving skills and only put the flowers on the front side of the cake, and nothing on the back side... I’m super disappointed with the service here. I was the first of my friends to get married, you better believe I will not recommend them to anyoneEdit 9/2019: As you can see below, by the response, excuse after excuse. As stated above about the main reason for my poorly rated review. I personally work for a small family owned business, so I understand the weight of a bad review. I would not just leave one to leave one and harm a company I wasnt serious about warning others about. Weddings are stressful, especially when you plan one in 3 months. I think moving forward- earth and sugar could improve by instead of trying to hold it over me that you have receipts and proof that you didnt totally ruin my wedding cake and make my night more stressful than necessary. Swallow your pride and just take responsibility for not being thorough enough and improve your system. I tried to make a phone call to try and get the bad taste from this company out of my mouth (which I still feel strongly about after a year and a half later). During our phone call I did not get one apology, but just excuses and reasons on why they over promised and under delivered. I find it sad that this company felt the need to place blame on me instead of placing the blame on themselves. I truly hope you guys have improved your system and learned a valuable lesson here. Had you guys taken responsibility and made this situation right I couldve been a huge referral for you guys. Sadly, I will not be able to make a cake recommendation for weddings or events in the future.I get to look back at my wedding photos and hate my cake, over something that wouldve been a simple solution. But clearly I am the one to blame over this company over promising and under delivering. Clearly it is my fault that I stated in e-mails to please let my venue know about the gluten free tier, and they did not. Clearly I am the one to blame by e-mailing multiple photos of a cake topper being flowers, and following up that thats the main thing I liked about the cake. Clearly its my fault that you guys dont know how to pick up a phone..I understand that people make mistakes and we are all only human, but just own up to the fact that you couldve done better.

Had my wedding at the Addison last year and they came highly recommended by my wedding coordinator. I emailed them to set an appointment for tasting. They were responsive and pleasant to my emails. We meet for the appointment at the Social House in Lake Worth.Upon arrival I was sat for the tasting. I went with my fiancé and the samples provided for tasting were barely enough for one person to taste the cake and I had to share this with my husband, but ok we managed.I asked to have a lite crème brulee filling for my cake and the exact answer from the rep from Earth and Sugar was we are very secured on our flavors and confident that they are the best, we dont really venture out of our flavors. Imagine my surprise to that answer.Another thing was, that they kept on insisting I did a small 50 people cake since I was ordering through my venue. I had a 50 people wedding but I wanted a 100 people serving cake, well this seemed to be a problem. It made me feel very uncomfortable, is not like I asked for it for free, I was willing to pay for the extra servings.I truly was expecting more from them, given that they have such great reviews.

Janderyn did an absolutely amazing job on our wedding cake! I found her on the knot right after I was engaged and fell in love with the design of her cakes. I loved the simplicity of the buttercream and fresh flowers. As soon as we had our tasting we knew she was the one! Everything we tried was incredible, it was so hard to choose, and we ended up going with a dark chocolate salted caramel cake that was the BEST thing I have ever tasted. She also made the grooms cake for us witch was key lime pie, also over the top good! Janderyn also made the most adorable blush colored macaroons for each guest as their favor, she did them for us in a clear box with a small ribbon. She even added the names to them for our wedding table, they were spectacular and so special. I would highly recommend Janderyn!
