I was missing American food style since I dont have a waffle house near by anymore.The customer service is wonderful.I visit this place anytime I am homesick or missing American breakfast flavor. Prices are decent and you feel like home...

After dropping off my children to school I decided to stop here and have breakfast. This will be the last time me and my family come here! I decided to order the strawberry stuffed French toast as I’m about halfway done eating I take my knife and fork to cut another piece as I noticed a dark spot dark on top of my food. I take my fork to pick it off the top of my French toast I noticed it was a flattened cooked roach. What amazes me was that it wasn’t just a bug on top of my food you can tell the bug was mixed in the batter because I physically had to take my fork and pick it off of my food to really see what it was. I immediately called the waitress she apologize and took the plate away. Very very disappointed but we will never go back here again !!!

It was a somber morning... nothing but a deafening silence filled the room as a light from the crack of the window seeped through, bouncing off the neon green walls and casting away any remnants of last nights broken dreams - what could have been, what should have been. Hoping to wash away our drunken losses from the night before, we decided to look for a place to eat. “Hmm what about this place?”, exclaimed Jarrett, twiddling his thumbs as he eagerly awaited my response, hoping it’d make the cut unlike the few before it. I glanced over, eyebrow half raised as I thought it through. What more could we lose... We’d just splurged our life savings in an attempt to get rich quick only to return empty handed. “Sure, why not, I said” as the shameful realization crossed my mind that it was the only place within our budget.We made our way to the diner, driving for what felt like an eternity before finally pulling into the dusty dirt road plaza where the diner sat, unknown to the world. DING. “So what will it be?” said the server as she directed us to an old worn out booth, handing out the menus. “We’ll need a few seconds”, I responded. “Okay, take your time”, she sneered as she sauntered away mumbling, displaying the “I LOVE THIS PLACE” print on the back of her shirt. Funny, I chuckled. We placed our orders, him the hot cakes and a Cuban sandwich, I the Special of the day which consisted of two eggs, two slices of bacon and two pieces of French toast.DING, the all too familiar sound of the doorbell rang out as it welcomed its next victims. A heavy set trucker and an old man in a grease stained wife beater passed by, making sure to leave behind a one cheek squeak as he made his way to the tattered red booth that awaited. The stench so bad I gagged imagining everything he’d eaten for dinner all the while hoping to hold down the few bites of spinach tainted eggs I’d already nibbled on.Forty five minutes in and a few bites later, it was safe to say that we were ready to go. Staring at the plate below me in defeat, I chuckled. Many have tried, but few have succeeded, I thought as I began to make a mental note, adding the Deli Inn Diner to the list of places I enjoyed. Food, great. Hospitality, horrid. Just my type of place. Money well spent.10/10 would recommend.
Absolutely perfect! Breakfast was perfect. Our server, Autumn, was so friendly and amazing! Best experience my husband & I have had since moving down from NY several years ago. So happy to find a great diner! Definitely going back! Highly recommend!!
Happened on this place by chance after shopping at Rosners. Staff was really friendly and accommodating. Food was delicious. (Kids wanted pb&j, which wasnt on the menu but they got it anyway. They dug in before I could get a photo of the whole sandwich.) They definitely made us feel welcome with a newbie song and giant muffin! Will be going back for sure.

Most days... Id give this place 4-5 stars but today was my first time going back post-quarantine shut down. Seemed like a few new employees and maybe some different chefs. The servers seemed a little chaotic and you could hear them complaining that they werent getting help from the busser. Could also hear them sending back a lot of food to get fixed before taking it to the customer. Good on the servers for policing the food... But really seemed like the kitchen was struggling. Personally... My food was fine. Fries were undercooked but the rest was pretty good diner food. Hopefully as time goes on, things get back to where they were before because this is my favorite Saturday brunch spot!

Deli Inn Diner has delicious home style cooking with friendly and efficient service at reasonable prices. A great place for breakfast or lunch. Just look for the telephone pole on the east side of Military trail, just north of Forest Hill Blvd., with wide red white and blue stripes around the pole, & you are there.
Waitress was more interested in chatting with counter customers than coming to my table. She gave my menu to a regular who came in a couple minutes after I did. Took the order of another regular who came in after me before coming to get my order. Never brought the check; had to stand at the register and wait. Lunch was okay; nothing special. Iced tea was good. Chicken salad plate with iced tea for $13 seemed high; maybe it was the poor service that made me feel that way. Unlikely to return.

The food was AMAZING my dad and I go there once a month or more. The waitress is very kind. WARNING do not tell them that you are new or if its your birthday...LOL🤣. They serve you lots of food. I recommend it.

The Deli Inn is one of the few real diners in the area and its been attend forever! The breakfast is delicious, comes out fast and is cost effective. Eggs, grits and toast for me, a BLT for a friend and an omelette with home fries for another friend. We all enjoyed our breakfast. Highly recommended. Make sure to let the server know if its your first time there!!

This was my first time here. My friend suggested it. Let them know its your first time for a special surprise. There is no frills about this place but the food was good. I had an omelet which came out really good and the coffee was hot and tasty. Ill go back.

Stopped here to have breakfast and was not disappointed. My eggs were perfectly cooked over medium and the house sausage was really good. And the most important part- the grits were not in a big clump on the plate, they came in a small bowl and were very nice and creamy. They also serve homemade rye bread and pastries and muffins. The waitresses were all very nice and fun to be around and they talked to customers and kind of put on a show. If you are a first-time (virgin) customer they also give you a free pastry at the end of your meal to take home.

Have been going there over the past 30 yrs. The food is good,ots breakfast, lunch nothing fabulous about it. But the last 4 times going there service was terrible. Each time the place was pretty empty. The last time there was a man at counter and the 2 of us only. We had to ask for refill of coffee. The 2 wait staff were busy talking to each other. Ill try it one more time. It will be very unusual for me to go for the 5th time. I will go because of the many years going there. It seems the place has been sold to someone else. If this is the case your business will not last in this manor
Been coming to this joint once a week with my dad for a solid 5 years now for breakfast. The food is awesome and you get a generous amount, and they got a killer country fried steak. Jojo and Katie are awesome they always take care of us and bring us our drinks and bagel chips without even having to ask for them. Also, they have pudding. Enough said
Down home cooking, its nothing fancy but oh so good. Everything is good, fresh, homemade bake goods. The ladies are lively, spunky and ready to make your visit pleasurable. Come in as a Deli virgin, leave as family.

The most awesome place Ive ever eaten everyone knows each other its very quaint the staff is wonderful The Waitresses friendly the greatest food ever like it came right out of Mamas Kitchen. Seated quickly. After some time server said they would be back in a minute, never returned. Another server asked if we were waiting to order and took our order. Only staff member who seemed to be enjoying himself was the man cleaning the tables. Food was good and good portion sizes.

Great little hole in the wall diner. They have been around for ever, and offer great service with a show. Food is quick, great, filling and wont break your wallet.
I love the old timey atmosphere. The Waitresses were very welcoming they treated you like they had known you their whole lives the atmosphere is also very fun with different games to play, the food is equally delicious and reasonably priced. The place was very clean. I could not have asked for a better experience. I wouldnt change a thing. I now know why people have been coming there for generations and why their children will also be bringing their children there 4 generations to come.
We eat there every Saturday. They calls us by name as we walk in and out. All very nice people our most favorite waitress is Patty but they are all wonderful as well. Food is great and comes out very fast within five to ten minutes.
This place deserves 6 stars by and large. Its hard to make yourself stand out in a world full of diners but this bunch goes above and beyond to make their place second to none. I would go back here in a heartbeat and recommend anyone else to go here.
Service was terrible. We had to flag down another waitress to get our drinks refilled. Our waitress took our order and never came back to the table. After we got our drinks and placed our order our check was placed on our table with nothing said. I wont be going back to this place and they were not busy. They just stood around talking. Terrible place.

AlertPlease do not eat here we were there this morning for breakfast there was a German roach on the floor and if that was not bad enough. One ran across the table near my food . Not only did the act like they didnt know they had roachs the waitress gave it away bu saying the sprayed well then you knew you had roachs they place needs to closed down and cleaned and on top if that they still made us pay for breakfast

A hidden gem! You wouldnt tell by looking at it (I might never have even stopped there had it not impressed my husband on a previous visit), but this place is awesome. The welcome is friendly, fun and like coming home to family. They know everyones name (a clear sign of repeat visits) and the food... THE FOOD IS TERRIFIC! Cant wait to return!!!(Best part is playing Trivial Pursuit while you wait for your food!)

This place is a great local spot. The breakfast food quality is about a 7 but the service and vibe is great. The waitresses have theme days and dress up for the occasion. You can roll dice for a dollar and try to win the prize money thats different each time youre there. They have pudding which is a total plus! Definitely let them know its your first time there and youll get a special treat!!

Cozy little place that doesnt look like much from the outside, but inside it has a charming old school atmosphere. That combined with a always chipper and attentive wait staff, good food and large portions makes it a delightful place to have breakfast. They do also have a lunch menu, but I have yet to make it there to explore that section of their menu.
