I called over a week ago and requested a quote and was told by a rude-impersonal receptionist that someone will call me in 3-5 days to make an appointment with me. I’m still waiting…I refuse to kiss up to a company I’m spending my hard earned money with. I will not call them again. Especially because they are not the only company that specializes in screen building/restoration. I’ll definitely be looking else where. I don’t care how good your work is, great customer service is key.

I called ScreenBuilders in the beginning of August for an estimate for a 2 story enclosure. Did not hear back so I to followed up again. Finally I was contacted by Debbie on Aug 24th. Again, I was very clear what I wanted. Even texted dimensions..Debbie choose to schedule an appointment to come out to the house on Sept 3rd. No prob.... The day of she canceled!She finally came out on Sept 10, again, very clear on what I wanted. She confirmed my measurements and told me I would have a quote in writing by the following week. Nothing... Now, 3 weeks later (8 weeks from first contact) I was just informed that you ScreenBuilders are no longer doing 2 story enclosures.Talk about a MASSIVE waste of my time. If anybody monitors this page, you should seriously question your business practices and get it together. Horrible look for what I believed to be a great company.

Had an amazing experience. Sales man came out and was extremely courteous and professional. Sales man understood the complexity of the repair. Sales man gave us a reasonable quote for the repair with a definitive time table. Office followed up to schedule the repair within the stated time table. The crew that showed up to do the repair took their time, they were extremely polite, uniformed, and best of all after they finished the repair they cleaned up every thing and put back some patio furniture they moved when they got there. You just cannot ask for more. I 100% support Screen Builders! Im a landlord and have used other screen companies in the past - so trust me...no one compares to Screen Builders!

We just had them to replace an old screen enclosure and they were great to work with. Not one single problem. The workers were great guys and the office staff were very courteous. I highly recommend Screen Builders.

JoAnn was our sales person and so much more. She was knowledgeable, diligent, responsive, and just plain helpful throughout the entire process - from selection through install. JoAnn made everything about our relationship with Screen Builders smooth, easy, and a pleasure. We ordered a new screen enclosure and a fence (after Irma damage). Even after Irma, Screen Builders pricing was competitive. No gouging. The screen enclosure install went without a hitch. The installers were professional and courteous. We had some minor issues with our fence install, but Screen Builders called and apologized and resolved them without any question. Our neighbors have come over to admire our new enclosure and fence. The new screen is stunning and impressive. There are small touches (e.g., screw caps and gutter splash guards) that people commented upon as going the extra mile. We felt the service is what really made Screen Builders shine.

When you ask yourself the question: how good of a screen do I need for a patio? and the answer is: I want a solid product that looks nice and gets the job done, then this is THE PLACE to go to.Their work is impecable, reasonably priced, of very high quality, looks really nice, and they cared to make sure it gets done and done right.I loved working with Debbie and Frankie and if possible, would work with them again in the future. If you are willing to wait indefinitely after several calls for a status update with I will check on it and get back you to soon but never do, this is the company to hire to do the job. We paid our deposit over a month ago and the permit still has not been requested. We realize that our patio work is not an extremely large one but if you commit to doing the job in a reasonable time frame, what do you consider reasonable?

We signed a contract with them back in JUNE!!! We are building a pool, so they did have to wait until the deck was finished. That was on October 18, so 5 weeks in a couple of days and still nothing. My husband calls them almost every day, and we get all kinds of answers. They are looking into it, were getting closer, all kinds of BS. I think they got bigger jobs and pushed us back. I am beyond livid at this time and its a good thing my husband wont let me call them. I dont know if the job will be good or not, but it does not matter at this point. The goodwill is gone because waiting 5 weeks and counting for a screen that we purchased 6 months ago is the most ridiculous thing ever. Nobody would believe it takes that long.

If I could give zero stars I would. Worst experience ever. They never respond to phone calls. They left half the fence done and then lied about it. Very unprofessional. Been back and forth with them for five months before anything was actually done. Would not recommend them.

Took forever to get them to come out. The time to start the job was way longer than they originally told us. Work quality was shockingly poor. After less than a year, the screens they installed are out.

Just recently had Steve come out and give me Quote for a new screen enclosure. He came out quickly and quoted me a good price to do the job. Cant say the same for the 2 other companies that came out to quote. I asked for references because I saw some bad reviews but after doing more research, I felt comfortable with my decision to move forward. Will add duo my review once job iis completed.

By far the best screening company i have ever dealt with! They have been around for almost thirty years. I was very pleased with the sales rep and their customer service. I highly recommend them to everyone. Im so in love with my pool enclosure

Screen Builders did our new enclosed porch with half under a new roof they installed and half under screen. We are very happy with the outcome. There was one flaw that we discovered and which they corrected. It may take time, but its worth the wait. Excellent job!

This is my rating prior to the job starting. I was told by the sales guy that as soon as I signed the contract and gave the deposit the custom doors would be ordered and would take 2 to 3 weeks. When the doors were delivered, they would do the install within one or two days. My contract and deposit is dated April 22. Today is May 13 and I called SB to get a status. I was told my doors were just order last week and best case they would be in on May 23. I have to wonder why would a sales guy tell me the custom doors would be ordered as soon as I signed and paid but then the doors were ordered two weeks later. I called the sales guy and he pushed me over to the scheduling department who is now pointing back to the sales guy. I sure hope the install and the quality of the product is better than the purchasing and ordering process. If it is, I will come back and provide a new rating.

Takes them fooooooorever to show up and provide an estimate (even for repeat customers such as myself). IMO, a 3 day wait just for an appointment with a salesman is unacceptable (then you have to wait even longer for the actual work appointment). Called Customer Service to see if I could get the appointment expedited. Rep on phone didnt think the 3 day wait time was an issue and offered no alternatives other than to cancel the appointment. I guess my money isnt good enough for them. Its a shame the way they treat loyal customers. Oh well, off to find a new screen enclosure company.

We had an excellent experience with this company. They responded to our request for a quote promptly. They scheduled the work when requested. All the workers were prompt, polite, proffesional, and friendly. They did great work, never slacked off for even a minute, and left the jobsite clean. I would highly recommend this company to any one looking for repairs to their screen room enclosure.

Do not trust them or their proposals. Quoted for 9 panel changes and only received 7. Have pics to prove but company still would not admit their mistake. Company clearly dishonest. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

I would not recommend this company based on their poor workmanship and lack of attention to detail.They installed a small screen enclosure with screen at my condo unit,after inspection of their completed job I noticed a hole in one of the screens so I brought it to the attention of one of the installers who was still completing work at our condo location.He told me that he would stop by that day and make the required repair which he never did.I called the office at Screen Builders and was told that I would need to contact the general contractor as they were subcontracted to do the screen work at my condo.I got the runaround and am still waiting for my screen to be repaired.This all could have been avoided if only the screen installer would have taken a moment to inspect his work before moving onto the next condo unit porch.

The short review: they dont care.Why would I write that? I mean, the other reviews suggest they do good work, and they have been in business for 32 years. From my personal experience, they do reasonably competent work that they can point at and say that they did that.But they dont care about the customer or communication. They want your money, and they assume theyre all that and a bag of chips to justify their lack of communication and surly, disinterested staff. I made the mistake of believing the reviews, so take this as a warning.1) They dont care once you pay that deposit. From that day until the screen goes up took over sixty days for me. If that was my only complaint, I wouldnt give them one star because they cant control the permit process.2) Their staff is surly. They have absolutely no need to let you know anything about the process that theyre so jaded with. The secretary has no interest in directing customers to appropriate parties, and the sales people couldnt care less if you wanted to know how long it was going to take to get to your property. (I hate that cliche, but in this case, its accurate - they really *couldnt* care less because they dont care in the first place.)3) The measurements and details that they take on that initial visit are meaningless because they will use the excuse of returning to do the laser measurements again to justify additional delays to the construction.4) The man who took the initial measurements and requests for a very basic rectangular screened in space on a level and small concrete patio slab apparently couldnt be bothered to pass those special instructions to the installation crew, because they didnt have them. And the crew apparently doesnt have a means of coordinating with the home office.5) The installers were not clear of what it means to be strangers on another persons property. Ive seen moving men with less professional skill sets show ten times more courtesy and respect than these fellows who couldnt be bothered to leave a note to explain their whereabouts when the job was not completed.6) The sales manager couldnt care less about the feedback. He confidently talked about Screen Builders being in business for 32 years and then said that theyre always trying to improve their communication, even though he didnt listen to me telling him that the secretary, the sales person, and the installation crew were all surly or disinterested. He added that if I thought they were bad, wait until I shopped around, as if that justified unprofessional service and communication. He didnt care.Shop around. Avoid this company. Youve been warned. They dont care about customer expectations and they dont care about professionalism. If they can be this way about building the product, I dread what it means for standing by what they make.Addendum: Cathy seems to care, and I think lumping her into all the rest of the others is unfair and inaccurate. But still, this isnt enough to change my assessment.

Excellent company. They have been around 30 years with the original owners. Thats very rare in Florida construction industry.

I contracted with Screen Builders in July and the project was finished in November. Salesman Ron Nerf. I obtained 5 quotes before selecting SBs. I did so because they are a one stop shop and were able to sub the concrete footers, do paver work, install an aluminum insulated roof and build the screen enclosure. The quoted price was competitive. Ron was a great salesman, gave me a quality brochure with all products and copies of certificates and insurance, and was responsive to all emails and phone calls within minutes or a couple hours.....throughout the job. The longest part of the project was waiting for permit approval from Boca Raton. The concrete guys were hard workers, and the three guys who built the enclosure were extremely knowledgeable and professional. I opted for the stainless steel fasteners and watched the installers using putting them in. All in all a top notch job and the enclosure had no defects. I was surprised how much work was involved in putting it together. I would use this company again and would recommend them to others.

Shopper be aware!!! Had them come out for a estimate they were very independent and gave a very high estimate... went with another company saved money with little Wait time and quality work... will never use this company again... they have grown too big customer service is left behind!! shop around save money and aggravation.. I agree with Joes review the sales manager did not even care he said it was jims son who I complained about!! thats the owner...STAY AWAY!!

Make sure you get other estimates!!! Had to call them after guy who came out 5 days before and took the measurements said someone would be in touch.....THEN, the quote they gave was ALMOST TRIPLE compared to 3 other companies that came out, those 3 were all in the same ballpark yet SCREEN BUILDERS was priced outrageously!! from reading the other reviews after I posted mine.....looks like this is a common complaint

Guess this company has enough business. Sales person came out and i never received estimate. Called the company twice no one returned my call. No customer srrvice what so ever.

They came out and gave me a ridiculous price to rescreen my patio I guess they have enough work.

Gave me a quote never heard from them again
