We walked in and took a look around. There were 2 other people in the store but they didnt look like they were being helped. The suits are so close together you know that you need help to find something. We told the person in charge that we were thinking of renting an outfit with a vest. He laughed and said you can just buy that. Then he started talking to the other customers. We felt totally dejected. Can we buy it from you?!?!? I guess not. He didnt say let me help the other customers first.. just laughed and ignored us. The place is tiny. It was just awkward. They didnt want our business. I would never go back to or recommend this place.
This is the only place I go to if I need a suit or Tux! Very nice people. They get it right every time!

FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!I went to Mr Formal based on the hundreds of commercials they air, and not to mention the giant sign in front of the store that says 2 suits for 100 dollars. But of course when i arrive this is not the case. I feel like I was taken advantage of.FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!

This Place is amazing. Anderson and his staff are phenomenal. I Went there looking for tuxedo because I had a wedding to go to in the last minute, These guys took less than 30 minutes to get me ready and got it tailored right away. Got a nice slim fit tux with shoes for $99, shocking. Best place to go.
Horrible service, and almost no selection of tuxedos.. went to rent a tuxedo for my wedding, the lady that helped acted like she had no interest in anything I was saying and asking for. She kept trying to get me to rent their in house tuxedo(which was only 2 choices) instead I picked one out of the book they had. The only important thing I asked for was a jacket style that didnt have giant shoulders. After picking a tux from the book, she went on to take my measurements and it wasnt till she started giving me jackets to try on to check my size that I realized the shoulder pads were huge.. so I asked (for the 3rd time) if they had jackets with smaller shoulder and only then did she tell me that the section of the book I was looking at all had the same style jackets with giant shoulder pads. So I asked what selection of jackets didnt have giant shoulders. And she showed me the only 2 selections that are considered slim fit with small shoulder pads. Okay fine, at this point I didnt care as long as the shoulder pads werent giant, so I chose a slim fit, tried on the jacket and it looked great. So I pay for it and she tells me I can pick it up 3 days before the wedding.. a month later I go to pick it up with only 3 day till the wedding only to find out she never changed my order to the slim fit and still ordered the first tux with the giant shoulder pads..
Great service... i got my 4th suit from here and these guys set me up great, never been disappoint. I recommend this to anyone whos trying to look crisp anywhere... if your trying to look good for a wedding, prom, or anything that slay Go to mister formal and they will NOT disappoint...

Mr Formal was a debacle.Ill start with the positive: I had a nice gentleman take my measurements.Now for the rest:I went to pick up my tuxedo 3 days before the wedding as instructed. Since they didnt have it in store, it was ordered after I tried a similar one.What I picked up was the equivalent to pants that would have made any genie in a bottle proud of MC Hammer, but not my wife to be.Naturally, I asked what could be done about it.Answer? Nothing.In the spirit of kicking a dead horse, I was offered to overnight a new fitted tuxedo...at my expense.No refund, partial or full.No manager.Just a powerless vendor telling that the tux is my size.So those are the facts.I took my business and that of my father in law to Studio Mens wear, and these guys saved the day.I know there are other positive reviews for this bother of a place and I actually had a good experience 20 some years ago.I just wish I didnt have to spend 300$ overall to have a decent tux.I suppose longevity doesnt always equate quality.

Great Experience. All the guys loved the way their tuxedos fit. We did have an issue with shoe size but all worked out fine.
I had to go there over 5 times to get my tux rental correct. First they told me one price out the door, but then raised it by $15 when my groomsmen wanted their tux. Then I was told I did not rent pocket squares and that would be extra. Even after going there over 5 times they called me to make sure my order is correct before they submitted it and they still had it wrong.The only reason I am not giving a 1 star is because they did deliver the tuxedos on time. Even though my tux had a stain on the shoulder and knee. Very disappointed with my experience.

Unprofessional, unnecessary stress.We had used Mr. Formal before a few years back for a Tux when my sister got married. Everything went so smooth that when I needed a suit for my fathers funeral on short notice, I called and was told they could handle my size and have the alterations done for the day before the funeral.We were told by Kevin to come back after 1630 the next day and the suit would be ready. He took my payment and my phone number and gave us a copy of the receipt with my phone number printed on top.We were running around getting things ready and at 1530 decided to stop by and see if perhaps they were already done.An associate of Kevins asked my name and his face fell when I gave it. He informed me their tailor had called in sick that day and they wouldnt be able to do the alterations. We exploded . Why hadnt they called us this morning? They had no good excuse and started frantically making phone calls. So did I and I found a nearby tailor willing to do the alterations but wanted double (80$) what Mr. Formal had charged us (40$) We demanded Mr. Formal pay us the additional 40$ to go have the alterations done. They refused and said theyd give me 50$ toward alterations or refund everything. It was now 1630 and the funeral was at 1100. At one point they said it wasnt a big deal. That the funeral wasnt until the next day. I had to remind him that I didnt care about his problems and that I was pissed that they made their problem my problem.Finally the Mr. Formal tailor agreed to come in and do my suit. Which we were informed would cost Mr. Formal double. We replied that if he had called me first thing in the morning, all of this could have been avoided. at about 1800 we left with the suit in hand and the stress to match. Just what we needed. Kevin was hiding in the back btw. We did speak to him and I told him how pissed were and how unprofessional this whole situation was.They didnt even offer to compensate us for the wasted time or the stress.The suit was nice but I would NEVER go back here for anything.

I came here with my dad a few months ago, received prompt attention and alterations. My dad looked sharp!!!
After I was measured they still had the incorrect measurements for the entire bridal party. We were given the excuse that it was prom season, and that is why our tuxs werent ready for the wedding that we had the next day. The employees refused to let us speak to a manager, and then it came to light that the manager was there and hiding in the back. For over $200 for a 24 hour tux rental I would have expected to have the proper fitting. Shoes were too big,clip on ties. Sve yourself some time and do NOT go here.

Ridiculous service!! No one seems to know what they’re doing and everyone looks lost. My wedding is tomorrow and the grooms tux is messed up and so are the groomsman !!! Unexpected, I would not recommend this place at all. Everyone in the wedding party was there over a month ago to get fittings! 🤦♀️

Got measured for a tux for my brothers wedding and it wasnt even the right size one arm longer than the other both arms to short pants were way too big even after telling the guy the measurements didnt sound right. Will not be going to this location again
