Ive been going to this store over the last ten years and I have to say its a different place now. There used to be friendly staff that were knowledgeable and showed a sense of urgency. Now I come in today and they seem like they dont even want my business. They directed two customers around me that came in after. When they finally helped me the guy was real short with me, then went into the back for 10 minutes. When he finally cane back he was grabbing parts for a different customer completely blowing me off. After another ten minutes of waiting around I finally grabbed my hose and went to another local hose maker to take care of my needs. In the time I was waiting I had already found the fittings I needed from the parts book that was sitting out on the main table. I have multiple Parker hose crimping machines but this was a specific brake hose that Parker doesnt support. Ill continue to use my Parker machines but I wont be getting supplies from this location. Looks like Ill be shopping online from now on and referring all business accociates to do the same. Thanks for ruining what used to be a good place.

The store is easy to see and find from the streetThey are very customer oriented here.Plenty of employees there to help everyone. No waiting.Make sure you come in with all the critical info if you want them to make you a hose.I took pics with my phone is all the important info, including the thread, size, length, etc.I got a replacement hose made for our huge air compressor that runs all day long.Just installed it.Fantastic!!!!

Awesome customer service. In and out fairly fast and the price was absolutely fantastic. They made two hoses exactly to better specs then the blown hose I brought in . I even received a gift calendar. 👍👍👍👍👍

Never have been in a store that specializes in hydraulic hoses and fittings, I didnt know what to expect. I had to lengthen a hydraulic hose for a steering system for my auxillary outboad motor.Service and availability of parts was amazing. The counter person looked at my existing hoses and said he could get me the right length with fittings in a few minutes. True to his word, the hoses were ready in about 10 minutes. I asked questions about installation of the hoses in my boat and the technician was very helpful with advice. I would highly recommend this company.

Love this Place! I run a Manufacturing facility and when we have a hose leak they are the first and only stop i make. Fast, friendly, reliable and great prices. I get all my forklift and Industrial hoses made here when one breaks, it is much cheaper in price but not in quality. If your in a bind they can make your hose while you wait which is never longer than 20 min or so.

Front desk personal are awesome and always helpful! Entire staff is incredibly knowledgeable and takes the time to explain things when you don’t understand. Being a parts runner I greatly appreciate the extra help understanding!!

Worst place to come and then try and talk to people that bark back at you. Had to go through there stuff and help them help me.

This a great place if you need an exact match to any Hose or fitting need, they even carry some of the odd ball o-rings that are hard to find, I come see these great people for my Hose replacement wether its for work and personal need.

Shoulda done this a lot sooner, but just getting to it now. I own a classic car. My mechanic was completing brake work, when he realized that the old hoses and fittings werent going to suffice. He had no factory correct replacements, so the job was held up, until I scouted around and found a viable alternative to OEM/NOS.I got a recommendation to check out Hose & Fittings, so I pursued it. Glad I did. It was a rainy, street-flooding sort of day on January 8, 2018-- not the kind of day I cared to be out and about-- but worth the trip from Oakdale to West Sacramento. Earlier that morning, when I called on the phone, I was warned it could take up to 24-48 hrs to get the part ready, so I prepared to make two separate trips if need be.However, the person who took care of me was willing to work during his lunch hour, to make sure that a proper piece was put together, based upon the 48 year old original sample I brought to show him.My business was done in under 45 minutes, and I was back home in Stanislaus County before 3pm. Had the part to my mechanic before 5pm! I couldnt have been more impressed with this awesome establishment.Now if only they hand-manufactured other classic car parts, but I know... thats not really the business theyre in. Just a unique coincidence that they were able to help in this case.

Scott, Kevin, and the others at HFE do a great job. I placed an internet order for three custom brake lines for a motorcycle project. They arrived very quickly, theyre well made, and they use unmistakably high quality materials. Not only that, when I had a small issue with the fit of one of the brake lines, Scott (VP of sales) went above and beyond to personally make sure I got what I need, and fast. I dont often leave reviews for places (in fact, this is the first) but credit where credit is due. Ill be coming to these guys in the future!

Sure do have lots of fittings in stock, but 2 stars for customer service... told me to hurry up because he going to lunch.. 😒, ok

This review is long overdue. Discovered this place in the Bay Area and now I have visited their Sacramento store couple times. Guys in both stores really helpful. I am not an expert but they always help me figure out what I need. Last visit in sacramento about two weeks ago. In and out as always. Syo got my teflon hose made in no time. Never had to go to either of their places twice for the same thing.

Let me first say Ive had many hoses made here thru the years with no problem. However about 6 months ago I had them make two short lines for an oil cooler on my dodge pickup. One of the hoses started leaking right in the middle, no rub spots, just leaking. I went in and asked if they were warrantied, he told me with a straight face...... custom hoses are warrantied..... till the next day. Really ??? WOW, after a few minutes, some cold looks and quiet mutterings I went to leave and with my hand literally pushing the door open, the manager yells across the store hell remake one of my two lines. I left......When I was a kid my dad had several Shell gas stations and they all had a sign over the door that said Service is our Business. Ya never see that anymore, How bout, Wow cant believe our amazing superfantastic hose is leaking, thats really rare, sorry for the inconvenience, here let me whip up a set of those short, relatively inexpensive hoses for you !!!!! ................. Do I expect too much ??? I guess these days maybe I do. Sad

Came in the store service hella fast he knew exactly what I need in and out in like 5 min service was amazing his name was Kris. Price was so fair and people there are amazingly nice. Also bought a air hose there amazing quality way better than the cheap stuff at Home Depot would highly recommend. They are a little difficult to find but I would go here now I know.
