This place has gone down hill!Recently we went in to get a few steaks some shrimp and chicken. The chicken was awful. Seemed freezer burnt even though they claimed it was fresh. The steaks were terrible. Very tough and tasted old. The shrimp oh my goodness was it bad. I use to remember going here 5 years ago when we lived in the neighborhood. We made a special trip and will never do it again! Terrible food!

Pricy but very tasty!

We are Always very pleased with our purchases from Federal meats. Always fresh and great cuts. We use the shop at Southgate Plaza and they are always extremely helpful, courteous and willingness to go above and beyond

Had a good brisket from here so we decided to go back. Wife asked for brisket and was handed a slab of beef. Pulled it out of the package and it appears to be part of the flat and The point not separated. Wouldn’t be so disappointed if it wasn’t so expensive..

Very clean and friendly place. Prices are a bit high, but the quality of the cuts of beef was well worth the price. Will definitely go again. Would love to see what their package deals are like.

Old school butcher shop with great butchers who know their stuff

I went to Federal Meats today to check pricing of large pieces of beef to be cut into steaks. Not absolutely sure of which cuts I was looking for be it Strips, Ribeye, or Delmonico I asked the butcher to show me several. Beef is not exactly cheap but I found the price higher than expected across the board. Therefore, I returned to the store I usually make this type of purchase. The cuts I was shown were beautiful I just knew I could find the same cuts at a lower price

Wonderful place to shop. The meats are always fresh. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure you are getting exactly what you need. The prices are a little high, but you get what you pay for. I can honestly say, that Ive never had a bad cut of meat from this store.

AMAZING ... They responded to my questions very quickly with all the info I requested YES they do offer substitutions for meat packages and the prices I was happy with also the staff was very friendly in a nice email they sent me with the downloadable meat packages available!! I will post pics and review of my package soon !!! So far 5 🌟 for me
