This would be 5 stars. Only reason its not is that some of the staff has no knowledge of the inventory. They pull up the same home depot app I have on my phone, and cant answer questions beyond basic stuff. Asked a gut if he knows where a nail set is, and he was clueless. Some of the staff on the other hand is very knowledgeable and they deserve 5 stars.

Delivery has been a pain in the neck. Wrong item was delivered ( Their oversight, not ours). HD scheduled to pick up incorrect item and deliver correct item next day. It didn’t happen. We have contacted them 3 days in a row to schedule pick up and delivery. No one seems to know what’s happening. Although the product is in stock. I have been on the phone with them for no less than 27 minutes per call. This seems like an easy fix. Staff is friendly and courteous but we are disappointed with this location and will not order from them in the future as no one including the manager seems to be able to sort this out. We feel they should reimburse us for the $35 delivery fee even if we do eventually get our product!UPDATE: Thanks to supervisor Jackie in ordering and delivery, we got the correct product delivered personally by Andre. So we have updated our review from 2 to 3 stars. Apparently, HD uses a third party delivery company. Sounds like they need to review their order/delivery process. We appreciate Jackie’s diligence and professionalism.

The customer service here is great! The employees are always will to help and answer questions. Most of the employees are very knowledgeable and if they dont know they usually get someone who do. The store is always in order and clean.

I went to rent a wood chipper. I was impressed with the quality, it was a newer machine. This made my life easier. Definitely, right now, recommend this home depot for rentals.

Found all I needed Had an amazing woman in the paint dept who knew the whole store. I had one chat with her I got everything I needed and knew where to find it.

I have been there twice first time I called to ask for an item, the lady left me on hold for over 10 minutes then hung up. I called again and it rang for 2 minutes I was on my way there and when I went in she had only one customer. I asked her about he item and sent me to garden to ask there. But gave me an attitude!! I told the lady in garden which btw was nice and helped us right away, I come today to return something and I wait in line for nothin and just to get told I have go to rentals to they can look at the box which you can clearly was never opened again not a nice person! Just so they can look at the box and go back to customer service, which is the most ridiculous thing ever but ok. Anyways never going there again, the employee there at customer service are rude and not helpful.

Hands down the worst service will not be returning, my partner and I are building a new deck and fixing our lawn. We went to the store to price materials and things for our lawn (new seeds, mulch and possible a new lawnmower). The entire project we are estimating to cost eight grand give or take a few hundred. We spent around 45 minutes in this W. Springfield stores looking for some one to help us find what we needed and to help us price things. We spoke to 5 employee and not a single one could/would help. We were told that they would call some one to meet us. That never happened. When we approached employees we were told someone would be with us shortly, no one came. At the 45min mark a man who worked for the store told us the people we need to talk to have already left for the day, and had been gone since five. We arrived around six thirty. If someone told us that from the jump we would have left and came back today. But know due to there poor communication, lack of work ethic and overall no care attitude our time was wasted.However, we drove to the Wilbraham location asked one man who didnt know how to help us( not his department) but showed us the website where we can look at things we need, get prices and different material and get a visual idea of what we are looking at. He also pointed us in the direction where we can find sample trex. In that area we met a women who help had a bit more knowledge (still not her department but willing to help with the knowledge she did have). She knew about the different trex and help us pick out the ones that would work best with out project. She also told us about the bid room which can help us save money, about the credit card which we applied for and the delivery system which we knew nothing about. That will save us some trips back and forth. This all took less than 30min. All these things the people in the West Springfield store could have help us with. We will be going back to the Wilbraham location to finish this project. I suggest if you need any help that only required them to do more than ring up your purchases. Seek help at a different location, tho with the self check out option you really dont need to engage. That seems to be the way they like it.

Great place. Ive been here a million and one times in the last year alone. The associates at this location are consistently helpful! Great variety of products here and has a much better layout than the Enfield location.Customer care associates are phenomenal as well- theyve been very helpful in complex situations.

Waited 50 minutes for help after asking 5 different associates for assistance with getting a mirror from the top shelf of an isle. No help arrived & Left without the mirror.

All your building needs plus bunch of employees that can look stuff up and let you know what isle or where something is. Need better training and some know-how people to actually inform you

Went there to buy a big thing of Turf for my back patio and went to the rug section and I think his name was Russell but he helped me get everything and was the kindest person. Even when I went outside thinking I could put the turf in my car without asking for help he ended up showing up and helping me put the whole thing in my car he was so nice, never seen such good customer service!

Very disappointed in getting help loading on 2 different occasions! Last Saturday 4/17 I purchased 10 bags of mulch. No one in garden center available to help get them on cart. When I got them to register, I asked for help loading my car. The woman called twice!!I finally loaded myself after waiting for 10 minutes.Today 4/24 I returned to purchase 8 more bags.... again I loaded the cart myself as no one was in the garden center. Again I asked the register to please find someone to load my car. After a wait sitting on my car, some very kind gentleman shopper volunteered to help... as no one had come yet!May well consider taking my business elsewhere... since there really is NO assistance available to help loading when requested!!!!Don’t advertise help... if you don’t provide!

This was at the West Springfield store, Im usually very impressed with their customer service and how theyre always trying to make sure me the customer is taken care of, but unfortunately this is not the case or my experience with this location, Ive visited 3 times in the last month and every single time Im waiting around for a rep. If I find one they tell its not their department, that theyll find someone but I guess that means they have to go out hired someone train him or her and then they will be able to help me out, it takes forever it seems to get someone, definitely not pleased with their employees attitude, theyll so far have shown a lack of effort in every aspect and once again this is my experience at the West Springfield location, anywhere else I havent had a problem

I love Home Depot..you can find most of what you need at great prices..I recently bought a Hampton Bay floor lamp..dark bronze with a beautiful glass top..less than 40.00! I bought 2!!

An employee helped with finding countersink drill bit. Found screws, thought I grabbed wrong ones. Turns out I grabbed the correct ones. I am allright the world is allwrong.

Each store has its own deals and inventory. Personally, I like the W Springfield store better than most others.

I came here with my uncle to pick up sheet rack and a toilet. The parking lot is huge with handicap parking and handicap accessible entrance. The staff are nice to me and my uncle. The staff is also very helpful. This place sells all kind of home products or goods and wood. In the winter time they sell Christmas trees outside where the garden department is. They also sell concrete here as well.

My husband and I can not say enough about the service we received not once but twice at the West Springfield Home Depot. We went in a few weeks back to purchase a washer & dryer for my mom. John Martin helped us and went ABOVE AND BEYOND in service.Delivery and “installation” were poor to say the least ( but we totally understand this is a sub-contract and not the store ). The guys delivering in it didn’t install anything. Furthermore, they high- tailed it out when my husband asked about the semi-ridged dryer duct we had purchased so they could install it. (Long story, it wasn’t there )ANYWAY, we went back to the West Side store a week later ( holiday and all ). The gentleman at customer service Ron was so nice and apologized for the inconvenience. John was working and came over and also apologize and gave us the missing part plus a discount on the purchase we made today.They were both AMAZING..thanks for the great service!!!

Im not sure anyone works here. Spent 45 min tying to get someone to get something for me that was on the second shelf, too tall for me to grab safely. Cant image they have enough people to even read this review. Lucky for me, I dont live in the area and the HD by my house has plenty of helpful staff.

I find the mandatory mask policy is taking away from my shopping experience by creating an atmosphere which is at the same time unhealthy, unsafe and unsatisfying. Studies have demonstrated that prolonged use of face coverings can present a far greater risk than any benefit which it may provide, for both customers and employees who suffer to wear them for the entirety of a shift. Further, given the present state of social unrest, I find that seeing masses of masked individuals brings with it increased feelings of anxiety as well as fueling the potential for unsavory characters to capitalize upon their ordained anonymity. By being forced to cover my face, I am less apt to enjoy my time within the store, and am thus less inclined to stroll through the aisles at my leisure which results in a smaller list of items I would be likely to have at checkout. Please reconsider your policy on face coverings as it has adversely effected my shopping experience in every way imaginable.

Always have a good experience with helpful staff

After waiting patiently for months to buy a chest freezer, we went to the Chicopee Home Depot last week because the website said they had 4 of the model we wanted. First we were told at the front they were in the back and in the back we were told they were in the front but only had one model, not the one we wanted that showed as being in stock online. As we stood there on our phones trying to see if any nearby stores had the freezer in stock, we were asked by Chris Cordova if we needed help. We explained our frustration and without hesitation he pulled a phone out and called the West Springfield store and had them hold one for us. We immediately went there to purchase it. This young man approached US not us having to ask him for help. This is rare in todays retail world. Thank you, Chris for making sure we left your store as satisfied customers. Home Depot is lucky to have you.

I have come here so many times for a carpet installation set up. Any time that I come there is no one working in that department, or when they do come by they don’t know what they’re doing, or when they know what they’re doing they are already helping multiple people. It’s impossible to get any decent service and every time it’s a wasted trip!!! Would not recommend this location to anyone!

Trying to finish up a large deck project and ran out of deck screws. My Home Depot was out of stock so drove up to this one. After locating the right isle was approached by an associate and told I needed to leave the isle. Said I just needed a box of deck screws. Instead of taking the minute it would have taken to find my item, he again told me I needed to leave the isle. A second associate on a forklift also told me I needed to leave the isle. Nice to know my business isnt needed at this location because I will never visit it again.

I was looking up and down 3 plumbing aisles for a certain item with no luck. They called the plumber and he lead me right to the only type in the store but I never would have found it without his help. Thank you Mr. Home Depot Plumber! He is my hero of the day!

Had what I wanted

This place is horrible. I went looking for 3 items, grass seed, a murray circuit breaker and some 10-3 wire. The layout is pieced together compared to other stores. The online stock rarely matches whats in store. The grass seed to repair after some digging in the yard is all put up. Why bother putting the seed up if the weed killer and fertilizer products are still on display. Smart stores would keep small bags or popular products available. The breaker selection was horrible. They didnt have a complete range of breakers for any manufacturer. They had one two pole breaker for murray, unfortunately not the rating I required. They only carry romex for 2$ per foot. Im not trying to go broke on a short run of wire. They showed 1 Cerro brand wire in stock but it couldnt be found. The last trip to this store was the same story looking for some pressure treated 4x4s.

I went and wasn’t sure of certain plants and planting ideas Love the politeness and attentiveness a Mr.Luis Diaz had, very professional as I did look in Lowe’s but their stuff didn’t even no half what I needed and we’re rude 🤦🏻‍♀️,I went back for a plumbing issues and They Also send me where I needed to go And awesome 👏🏼 in details I was told what I needed and should try and Problem solved,, Five stars If I Could I put a ten stars, I highly recommend this store for all my shopping needs and have I told All my friends n family this is the place to shop!!Thank You Mr.Luis Diaz ! Only 1 cashier lane open. Finally 2nd came down. Few customers had items that took forever for cashier to scan. Many customers had many items to no fault of theyre own. Customers cutting in front. That was rude but not on the store. But they had check out for card carriers only not cash. Delayed the whole process. Hot in store.

Idk why Google maps wants me to review this one, but Im bored so why not.Didnt catch the plague since everyone had a mask and the labyrinthine aisles gave me enough room to stay waaaay more than 5 feet away from anyone nearby.Went in for PVC couplers, walked out with PVC couplers and a Reeses.11/10, would buy pipe again.
