I love this store, you can always find a treasure. Shanice, Breanne and Kay are awesome! Friendly staff and just cool stuff!
Savers is a classic in the area and has the largest selection of any thrift store around here. But it has many pros and cons… positives being that it’s a huge selection of every category, making donations is easy and they give you 20% off coupon (which balances out some overpricing), it can be fun to look around because there’s so much. Negative side.. clothes are priced high and randomly, it’s usually a bit messy, always crowded and kinda crazy. Kids usually playing with toys all over the floor. They don’t have hand baskets for some reason, so you have to use a carriage, which in turn makes the store more crowded and hard to move around. And the big one, they got rid of the dressing rooms, which is insane from a business standpoint considering they sell used clothes from different brands and sizing, people will need to try them on and if you want to return, you only get store credit. Sure, they can say they got rid of the dressing rooms because of theft, but that’s the risk you have to take because clothes sales will plummet without them. It’s a necessity for a place like this if you want to sell clothes and have happy customers.
Great as usual. Found some very nice stuff and bought a lot of very nice outfits .Still a good amount of yarn
First time going here very clean and full of. Good things to buy. Prices arent bad either.
I go to Savers alot. Ive found Jeans that have new tickets still on and are tall size too! And also the second hand clothes are nice too. I Luv the pictures Ive found. The only regret I have is I miss the Savers that was at the Liberty Street Plaza. They would have .99 cents Mondays and you could get some really great deals! The Staff are always very pleasant and helpful in West Springfield too! 😊
Great for clothes and kitchenware, not for furniture. Was super busy on a Tuesday morning
I didnt take pictures today, I usually do in post to Facebook that Im heading to savers to get some good steals and deals :-) today I did at the savers in West Springfield next to Bobs discount furniture store.... I got work pants for dish room work for only $3.99, and a few dishes that broke when I was unloading the dish machine at home for only a $1.99 :-) pretty good deals if you need dishes and knick knacks along with clothes :-) honestly everything is cheaper even furniture and luggage :-) I love shopping at savers every now and then they have people donating new things that havent been opened for a lot lot lot less than store price :-) love it! Its like a treasure hunt every time :-)
This is supposed to be survival place for people who struggling and cant afford to buy for a full price in regular stores, so the prices supposed to be low and affordable, but most of the things there is so overpriced and cosy almost like you at stores like Macys, Burlington or etc and this place got all what they have for free, just donated by someone:(
They had a lot of nice clothing and brand name stuff too. I was able to get all 3 of my children a brand-new wardrobe for like $220. For all I got, anywhere else easily would have spend 500 or more.
Always great deals, friendly staff and well staffed.
SHOPPER BEWARE! No dressing rooms (not a Covid issue, they took them out). If something doesnt fit you can only exchange within 14 days - and if you cant find something to exchange, kiss your money goodbye as they dont offer store credit.
It was good except it was empty so I know its because of the covid usually its a wonderful place to go to
Excellent bargains. Nice sales associates.
The.. Clerks Were.Very..,. Helpful When answering Questions..... Very Nice 👍
I live savers its like a giant well organized garage sale. The prices are right and there is always something new, especially kids costumes and dress up. Lots of stuff is brand new with original tags that just amplify the great deals you are getting when you walk in. Worth look around
Clean, so many great deals on brand name items, and pleasant staff.
Found what i was looking for & im happy thanks SAVERS
Its a large store, lots to look at. Wish they had more clothes for plus sizes.
Good deals can be had, but its appearing that savers is forgetting theyre a thrift store and not a boutique...prices becoming OUTRAGEOUS and more than retail. Losing longterm customers.
Clean store good deals
They have awesome stuff that you just cant find anymore...prices are unbelievable...clean store and friendly staff
Great place to shop with great prices, but still a little pricey for thrift clothes! Nice and friendly staff and great customer assistance as well.
Had what I needed, please put the 3D glasses as well. And thats a so far
Its ok place you can buy used good but you have to wash everything before you wear, you can also donate on side of the building
Awesome variety of clothes and nick knacks
A little uncomfortable with so many people there on a Saturday. But other than that its a great place.
Good selection, but prices are too high for donated items, especially dresses and jeans. I found a dress they were trying to sell for $18.99!!!! It wasn’t an expensive brand(T.J Max) and was probably cheaper brand new than what they were selling it for. Ridiculous. They are getting these things donated for free so there’s no excuse for such high prices
Great selection of used clothes and furniture.
Cashing out was not an issue even though lots of people were shopping today. They had four registers open. Most household items seem to be overpriced. I find that the hanging bagged bundles tend to be a better bargain.
The place has theif in it my wallet was stolen it was rainbow glitter wallet with a princess diamond key chain. If found please send it back to the store i dont care about the money jest the cards i will give a reward for anyone that returns ir
Today was a good day!I found a few random things i needed. Best part i had a 20% off yay me!!
Good prices, cool stuff. Lots of records and cds.
Took the drive to Springfield Savers parking here is a headache..pricing is similar to CT..cashier was super nice. Wish I had caught her name..
Avoid this place at all costs they dont care about their customers their cashiers are very slow and very rude made me reach around the plastic just to get my stuff what do you even put it in a bag or back in the cart no communication from the cashier she was just a silent and then as soon as she closed her drawer walked away leaving all my stuff right in front of her ridge today I went there was like 20 people in line in the cashier was moving like a snail nobody else insight to help
Love Savers, only wish they had one in Columbia County NY !! Employees are friendly, the store is always clean and i wish I had about 4 hours to browse through the store slowly.
I found some great buys today (many with tags) thanks to Jacqueline Smiths collections. I wondered it this was due to K-Mart closing and liquidating. There were many duplicates of the same shirts in different sizes. There was a good setup for checking out that was partitioned off with plexiglass and /or plastic. The aisles were wide enough for 2 carts in both directions with merchandise and bath/bed aisles going in one direction st the far end of the store. Attendants were quickly moving merchandise quickly but you had to watch out because they were flying down the aisles in carts. My big complaint is that the loud speaker for register openings was too loud and I was looking for an ax to take to it. I did find a few golf drivers and was very tempted. It was ear piercing!
Good stuff and a lot of variables things
Great selection but prices are twice as high as Goodwill. The biggest problem is that you have to run a gauntlet of people in a very tight space to check out. This is criminally stupid, given that the original open design of this store allowed for proper social distancing when checking out, but these clowns actually created a temporary wall to block that. I guarantee that many people have gotten sick from the Savers checkout line.
Its a great place to pick up a deal or 2....
Always manage find something of interest to purchase whenever I visit Savers
Awesome shopping day. Idid notice they went up a bit on there clothing
No good because its all donated stuff thats supposed to be here to help us out people are having hard times and they charge top dollar I mean a pair of sweatpants with no pockets for $9.99 you get it at Walmart brand new with pockets for $9.99 its insane their t-shirts 7.99 10.99 all the way up to 12.99 I looked at t-shirts I mean its all donated stuff I thought it was here to help the people that arent doing well
Love this store. i resell and I have never had a problem with jewelry. I actually buy all my jewelry from this store. the selection is great and the girl that does it is a sweet heart and very knowledgeable. I have gotten very nice pieces from there. The prices are good. and it is much better than the other savers. the only complaint i would have is the manager at the register she is a nightmare. no customer service skills but the front workers are very nice.
Great like-new clothes that I can find in my hard-to-find size! Also, easy to find my size! Always find something interesting like a treasure of Paul Newmans! Fun place to shop! Always friendly shoppers & staff! Love it! Love the 30% off card as well! Feel good when I donate there!
Not as much halloween stuff this year. Maybe because of covid?... Lots of items busy place!
I am visiting from Miami Florida shopping for winter clothing and boots and got great deals on everything I bought! Planning to go again before my trip! Need to update my closet!👌💫👍
Good thrift store and decent prices
Although I always preferred the West Springfield location because their prices on games were more reasonable than East Springfields prices, I dont understand their inconsistent clothing prices. I saw two womens tops hung right next to each other, same brand, same size, same quality but a $3 price difference! Why? I understand that something maybe Edie Bauer-like would be higher priced than perhaps Gap brand but these were exactly the same in every way except two different colors. And now that theres only one local Savers I cant help but feel that they are raising their prices because of it. Now I shop the Hospice Store in Amherst and GW more.
Just started my new job
A decent place for cheap hand me downs
Very clean, employees are very friendly and helpful
Nice store. Clean, well organized. Racks NOT packed so tight that you cant flip through. I heard this store will be closing -- if true, Im sorry to hear it.
Well spaced isles and lots of cashiers
You know what? Im surprised at the vast selections of clothes and shoes here. My whole family (parents and sister) love coming here to get second-hand items that are useful and in great condition. They have a lot of prom dresses that I would buy if I am in high school (beautiful and only $10???) My only criticism is their dressing room is very very tiny. The rooms are so small you could barely move around them, and Im a short skinny person! Other than that, its great to have this thrift store in the Greater Springfield Area.
Honestly a lot people don’t like hand me downs but I find so much name brand new jeans here I find everything new here and for the prices it’s a bargain great prices to be exact
Ive going to be honest some clothes and womens purses are very expensive $75 for a purse that was donated
I bought a roomba but it didn’t match the box description. Luckily the person who sold it to me helped me out and went out of his way to fix it! I was pleasantly surprised and much happier shopping here than other thrift shops! Thank you!
I am a fan of Savers, however I was so disappointed with my experience today. Im a single mom, with no time for myself, and finally had some free time to look for a warm winter coat and some church clothes. When I got I line, I chose the line with the least amount of people, and waited for over 5 minutes before I realized that the lady ahead of me was doing some kind of exchange, which took a while. I looked to the register on my right to see people continue to line up and leave before me. I looked at my phone and realized that I would be late to work if I continued to wait, and after a few more minutes, put my stuff down and left. The whole time, there was an employee just standing behind the registers watching me wait while others left, why she did nothing about this is a question that concerns me.I called the store while I was on my way to work to ask if they would please hold the items for me. The person who answered the phone was the cashier who was doing the exchange for the lady, and cut me off, to explain what she had been doing. When she was finished, I asked her to hold the items for me. She said she would try, although I would be getting out of work after 9pm. I called back at 4pm to see if they still had the items, and of course they had put them back. Im so disappointed in their lack of concern for their customers.
I loved working here, but sadly I did`nt have proper transportation to keep working there so I had to leave, I wish i could have stayed but I didnt want to have to keep calling out because I could not find a ride. Everyone there was so nice, and friendly, and for the training everyone was so kind and patient with me, it felt like a second family.
The prices are too high only because its the only second hand around
Excellent selection for everything you need. The workers there seemed very stressed and don’t seem to care about their customer service.
Very nice.
The jewelry is being stolen by somebody supposedly pricing the jewelry. Ive seen some beautiful items that were to be priced. And when asking management where the items are and when the items are coming out, the items are nowhere to be found. The big smoke screen is pricing some costume jewelry high with printouts from eBay making it look like they are doing their jobs, while their husbands/partners in crime are alerted to come and pick up the nice items. This is a GRAVE concern!!!!!!! Corporate needs to look into this.
Very nice trunk 24 bucks
Awesome deals. Interesting items. Great sales people. Love shopping there!
I like shopping there
THEY HAVE ITEMS WIT THE ORIGINAL TAGS STILL ON THEM.. I LUV THE PRICES 💙💜💙💜😁😁😁😁
Found a signed copy of dream to make believe and some dope pants
One of my favorite places to buy used kitchen tools, music CDs, and really unique artwork. If you wear an average size, youll find plenty of cool used clothes, but fat guys like me might find fewer choices.
Love this store im in it allmost every day
Okay, not very good. This is the second time Ive come to this store from out of town. This store is in a relatively distressed part of town, so I was expecting the donations to be on the low end of the quality spectrum. What I wasnt expecting was to find super jacked up prices for this low end merchandise. I live in Hampton, NH and frequent the savers daily. One example is a krups Espresso Machine. I typically pay around 3.99-5.99 for them. There was an older one here for 17.99. This type of thing seems to be the norm in this region which I do not understand. You would think that the prices in the poorest parts of the country would be the cheapest, but its the total opposite. I think savers needs to re-evaluate their business model. I cant see how this works. Also, clearly a lot of the employees appear to have employment barriers, but you.dont have to be super intelligent to be friendly.
I have had the pleasure of working with Mr. Jim Barkley from Savers while performing my job as an outreach worker for a non-profit organization. During this time, Savers was generous enough to make voucher donations to several families that were in dire need. Savers in my opinion has given back to the community and has done so pleasantly. They have also donated childrens books that were taken off the shelves. These books are now being given to children in need all over Hampden County. Thank you!!!!!!
Great people here. My 19yr old daughter favorite place to get her 70s look.
Worst place to buy something.everything VERY EXPENSIVE.Thay receive all clothes for free but sell like new ...
I prefer this place to good will honestly, only for certain things though such as dishware and appliances. They get some good stuff in usually.
Always find something to buy. Love savers
Savers is definitely much better than junky Salvation Army store. Large Selection of Books. My first favorite spot for Savers is Manchester, CT because of my area. Definitely going there once a while.
Loads of fun and I bought alot of things and saved plenty of money!
The price of men’s jeans pants too high.Somebody donated them and they price too high.Their bathroom is nast all the time.Bathroom’s door knob is sticky.
This is the better Savers out of the two in Springfield. Lots more to choose from, better organized, better selection, more helpful staff, better location.
Redicously over priced junk. Were talking 2-3× the cost of buying it brand new. Waste of time, and the smell of musty clothing is overwhelming and will stay with you for days. The employees are very low level intelligence and have terrible customer service skills. I suggest you go to another thrift shop for a better experience.
More expensive then new clothes. The store receives used clothes for free, thay can make better prices for second hand clothes
While its true that all Savers are pretty much the same, Savers rules, so thats a compliment *and* this one is particularly cool. The one in West Roxbury is also stellar, but its far. If youre out that way, def. check it out. I got props here for photo shoots, such as a long, blonde wig (!), tons of eclectic sunglasses, and accessories galore.OK, back to this one. Its huge and extremely organized. Its clear that the employees love their jobs, as well as Halloween. A few years ago, the Halloween section was absolutely fantastic. It looked like a movie set.I hope this artistry is still at work.Sometimes a trip to Savers is overwhelming. Give yourself plenty of time. Get a cart. Yes, theyre way too big, but its necessary. The clothing is organized, but keep your eyes open for a misplaced shirt or skirt. Ensure you check your wanted garments for wear. No, Im not suggesting the clothes are sketchy. You just dont wanna ruin your mood by noticing a stain when you get home.I know Im ignoring the furniture/home goods section. I wasnt super impressed. Thats one of the great aspects of thrift stores; since theyre always changing, you dont know what youll find.Back to clothes before I cease pontificating. Make sure you check out the belt/hat section. Theres a chance you may find a funky purse, as I did.Dont poop out at the finish. After youve gone through the Would I really wear this? stage, try *everything* on. BTW, I dont remember the dressing room being gross.I did have to return a few things; total pain in the arse. Yeah, not everyone loves their job here.Be sure to check out the mens section. Their clothes are great, too! I noticed old school GAP hats-the coolest. Just make sure you clean well.Have fun!
Always get great deals and finds. As an FYI bring your own bags they no longer have bags.
Wide variety of cheap stuff. Treasure-hunting paradise. Quick checkout. Lots and lots and lots of clothing.
Great place to find all kinds of previously used treasures. I go mostly for the used books.
Always a great place to find some higher-end quality merchandise. Little more then at other thrift shops, but definitely worth a look!
Just happened to walk in on a day they are having a 50% off all clothing sale it was awesome
My most favorite store ever! Only one complaint....very dusty and dirty dressing rooms. This is at every Savers I have been to.
The employee is very very rude and unprofessional oper 4494 ., lm very 😠😠😠
Quite a large selection of clothing and shoes. Not the best Savers Ive been to but great place when looking for those two sorts of items.
They just have so many things too choose from, it is an awesome place to shop !!!
The best place to clear out your loved, yet utterly useless items so that you can buy more loved and utterly useless items. I Always comes here when Im in town!
Decent used products store, however they dont have a lot of used electronics unfortunately.
I just called Savers today at 2:20 pm and I asked the lady if they carried any working boots for woman and her response was, there is no way of me finding that out, I got line full of people, unless you want to be on the phone on hold for a long time I think she was rude. I called in a good mood and hanged up feeling upset and unsatisfied. She could have been more professional about it and ask another coworker or something. She must not like her job! I called again and a man picked it up. He was actually nicer and even checked for me and was more professional about it. :)
Awesome place to get second hand clothing, toys, kitchen stuff, etc. Prices are very low and often there is a store wide sale.
Clean and organized.
Good selection. Clean prices are ok
