My mother went to this store couple of weeks back and this store sells expire stuff. We bought wheat flour( chakki atta), he sold us the expired. We went to return it and then he again gave us the expired one again. The lady at the store is super rude but the main thing is they are playing with people’s health. This store should be closed due to health concerns. Worst experience ever!

EXPIRED FOOD SOLD.Bought the pickle. Tasted it and realized that its really bad. Then tried to see the date of expiry and the picture says it all.I wish there was a 0 rating. Disgusting.

I love this place.They hand make wonderfully tasting samosas. The staff are always friendly and very helpful. A very large selection of Pakistani/Indian food items and ingredients..

Im not a regular here, but on the occasions I do go, theyre always positive experiences. I went in recently to purchase some medjool dates and tea and exchanged a few warm words with whom I assume is the shop owner while checking out. Very sweet and helpful lady. Products were fresh too. Jazakallahu khair.

I completely agree with others that they are selling expired food items and charge more than other Indian stores .Recently, they sold me moldy dates 🤢 No quality control at all! I tried Corner Grocery which is a new store and their prices and customer service are way better and they carry fresh items not expired and moldy.

Great items and food! Only problem is that it is a rip off, it says the drink is 1$ but they charged us 2$. I dont mind though

THEY SELL EXPIRE FOOD.I bought ginger garlic paste tamarind and basin from them. They were expired from last 2 years.Brought back the items, they refunded but this is no excuse you put things on shelves and cant see expiry date?And 2 of my friends also said we dont buy from them as they had same experience.I tried your channa chaat samosay and petties, they were fine.

This place smells so good! There are so many spices...everything you could ever need. I was able to find some lovely Dutch biscuits that I havent had in years! They were very helpful in finding me what I was looking for. Of course they have every flavour of incense you would want. I will be going back more often!

My American wife ate at the restaurant inside. She fell in love with this food and always wants me to take her back!

My wife and I shop here all the time. The folks who run it are very friendly and the prices are so low you will think they are misprinted price tags. Best place in town to get spices. The samosas are the biggest, least expensive, and tastiest samosas you will find in the state. I have never once gone in there without being greeted with a big smile from behind the counter.

I like the store and offered halal products, I wish that live closer so I can go there often.... Really unique

I LOVE this place! I only get in about once a month but when Im in the area I make it a point to stop and grab a bite to eat and shoot the breeze with the owner. Nicest people youll ever meet!

Price is very high as compared to other Indian grocery stores. Although they have more variety of cosmetics from Indian. Staff was friendly.

The shop had a very basic look. organizing isnt a top priority. The buffet was skimpy. Practically no food in any of the vats, small selection and the signs didnt match the food. I wasnt impressed and think this place needs a visit from the food inspectors.

They had Expired items and the dates were ripped out of the box WOULD NEVER GO HERE AGAIN 🤮

Went there on Tuesday it was closed....strike oneWent on Wednesday ... place is tiny......you need to be a less than 4 feet to navigate....strike two.The collection is LIMITED....I could not get half of the product on my list.....and what u got was expensive to other stores I visit......strike three.Please avoid this sad store.... there are better/cheaper Indian grocery stores around.

Stopped in for lunch and had the Bhindi Masala. AMAZING!!! Great little store and cafe with wonderful people. Bought some curry powder while I was at it, and will for sure go back. Thank you for bringing such a beautiful culture to West Valley!

Everything here is expensive. Generally I do not care on how much I pay but today I checked prices for basmati rice with other Indian and Pakistani stores around and they were $10 cheaper for the same brand. Disappointed ex-customer.

We ordered Jalebis from here for my daughters graduation. Though we are in SLC for over 8yrs this was the first time we stepped into this store and that will be our last. Wish I had not stepped into it at all. Jalebi is my daughters favorite sweet and we wanted it for her big day. Unfortunately, it was the worst Jalebi I have tasted in my life. We ordered 12lbs of Jalebi. Owner Yousuf was all talk and we were excited. When we actually picked up Jalebis on the day of the party they were stale ( looked like they were made a week before) and looked nothing like Jalebis. All the guests were really disappointed. It was like a black spot in our menu. I am going to delete this shop from my memory. Please avoid this shop if you can.

Great place to shop for spices however the veggies werent as fresh as I hoped to be.

I wish there was a -1 option to select. We brought a tea powder packet (Brooke Bond Taaza) on 08/31/2018. And the Expiry date on the packet is 07/03/2016. How do you manage to fool people like this? This is a serious issue and should be brought to public attention!!!

This looser sold me expired lamb meat, and lied to me. their meat is rubbish.the woman sold me chicken shashlik for 10 bux which is actually chickencurry. stay away from these losers.went to their other store, started arguing with me about mangos.both stores always empty.no thanks.

Overpriced and expired food items.

PATHETIC service and food, we wasted our evening, and ruined our moods after visiting this place. Highly NOT RECOMMENDED. We ordered pani puri, and the paani was just RED chilli powder and water. We left with our order untouched mostly. Went at the register to pay for groceries, and thought i should give constructive feedback, and i informed the old lady that, your pani puri water tasted like red chili in water And she reacted really bad saying,its not possible, i make it with my own hands, and you must be having pani puri for the first time, you are the first one telling me thisSo, my suggestion is to dont waste your valuable time and money to experience the most disappointing food and service.Frankly, i wouldnt be giving even one star if possible

Now Ill write a fuller review here.Qaderi Sweets and Spices has an extensive beauty section (you can find all sorts of goodies, henna, amla oil and powder, coconut oil, shikakai, etc.) and focuses more on breadth and number of different spices, foods (fresh and prepared), teas, snacks, etc and has a very large selection of Indian vegetables and fruits and a large freezer. It has such a dizzying array of things! It also has an attached eatery and an enormous selection of Indian films for rent or purchase (though overpriced- get em online). The owners appear to be Pakistani so you can find lots of Islam-related items/decor, etc. Qaaderi seems to focus on sheer diverse quantity and I find myself drawn more to it just to browse the fantastic selection of things Ive never heard of! Stop by just to buy some of the neat cookies and treats.

WORST place ever, food hygiene was really bad, and to make matter worse their customer is almost like they are doing you a favor. We have a crappy experience, and dont want anybody to go though the same.
