I went to west valley utah store for a target exclusive funko pops which they had not put out. The other customer there also for same thing asked if they had them, she replied yes and wheeled them out for us and informed us only one. When I checked out I notice damage to one and I went back and another employee helped me and was really nice about it and totally understood. ThanksGilbert

All the employees are super friendly and I love shopping here! The only down side is every time I come in Im followed by security when Im not doing anything wrong, maybe its my tattoos? Also the food is almost always expired! I just bought mayo and it expired June 5, 2021 and its October 2, 2021.... Disgusting! But those are my only two issues with this store

If I could leave zero stars I would. Every other thing I picked up in the grocery section was out of date by literal months. Tomatoes were bad. Most of the meat went bad today. There was even out of date sour cream. All the Deans dip, expired. It was disgusting.Even the MAYONNAISE was out of date. Ive never in my life seen that. I left grossed out without buying anything. Dollar tree has better standards.The greeter at the door was the only good part about that experience.

I dont usually go to this target. I ordered items online for drive up and I was in my car for 10 mins before I decided not to wait any longer and come in. They havent even started to bring the orders out. I give it 2 stars because the young man was super nice. I usually go to taylorsville and they are way quicker

Cute kids clothes, cute dollar section selections, and super convenient to have a Starbucks and pizza hut inside.

The store wasnt messy but there was an item on display which they didnt have in stock which is disappointing.

They have a good parking lot. The location is very convenient with other stores and restaurants around. There was a lot of cute stuff in the store and a good pharmacy service. They also have a Starbucks, which had a lot of space and tables. On the day I went, there were a lot of birds outside the store.

The store is clean and well organized. The associates are great. The problem is ever since they opened up the self help lines, there is only one or two cashiers to help guests which creates a long wait for the self serve line. If I am going to do their job for them, but I shouldn’t have to wait to do it.

One of the newest locations in town. Its not centrally located, but its one of the nicer Targets in the valley.

Definitely one of the best employees ever! Dar is a rockstar! She went above and beyond to help me out and inform me about some items! Target, Recognize your awesome employee please!

I love Target and equally love that there is one close to where I moved. However, the customer service at this location is seriously lacking. Hire new people that dont act bothered by assisting customers. Ive only been here 3 times so far and only had positive interactions with associates once.

It was clean and people kept 6 feet apart. For the first time in 3 visits the cashier was nice and actually assisted me with provided me info on my target card bonuses. Most the time the cashiers do not greet me or even smile. It is just a job to them apparently. I with I would have gotten the nice cashiers name so I could compliment her to her supervisor/boss.

This is the first i ever have to make a review and i got to say this location doesn’t seem fit the expectations.I went in Sunday afternoon and the lady I believe to have been a manager with a badge that said toihad an awful attitude against her employees and the guest. The atmosphere of Target is calm and feels more upscale, compared to say, Walmart. I dont feel like Im elbow to elbow with other shoppers and can easily find what Im looking for!

Shout out to Target! We were looking for a new blender and we saw one on the Target website that we were interested in, went to Target and saw the price was twice the amount in store than we saw online. We went to customer service to ask about it and see if we just needed to purchase it online for that price, the lady was so wonderful and said, Nope, we have it on our website for that lower amount. Then she rung it up and put in the discount and we were able to get the blender for half the cost! Love the customer service!

On most occasions I love Target, I love the value& quality of their products. My husband and I travel to the West Valley City/Salt Lake City area for business for about a week every other month. Our preferred accommodations is the Hampton Inn a short walk across the parking lot from Target. Needless to say, we shop quite a bit at the West Valley City Target during our stay. We have had several experiences over the past two years with rude employees. One instances on our first trip to the area about two years ago, was a rude young woman’s response when we asked if Target or the grocery store across the street sell wine as she was assisting us with cash back at the self checkout. Being new to the area (we live in Florida where grocery stores and General Merchandise stores such as Target & Walmart sell beer & wine) we were not familiar with alcohol sale laws in Utah. When I asked her this question, she raised her hand with her palm facing me in a “stop” position, said “I don’t know” turned her head & walked away in an abrupt dismissive manner. Another instance on a subsequent trip was as my husband and I walked into your store, he realized he had two candy bars in his shirt pocket. We walked strait to the Customer Service desk to let them know he was walking in with the candy. Normally an associate will put some type of sticker on the item(s) or put them in a bag and staple it shut, etc. This young woman rolled her eyes, waved her hand in a dismissive motion and said “we don’t care”. There have been a few other negative experiences however tonight’s experience was out right disrespectful! We ran into your store just before 9pm to pick up a couple items, water, frozen dinners, etc. We used the self checkout as usual. I mistakenly scanned a Ketologic supplement twice. As I turned and looked behind me for an associate, I immediately caught the attention of a young lady with short, very light hair. I said “I’m sorry, I mistakenly scanned this item twice”. As she walked over to my husband & I she said “WELL THAT SEEMS LIKE A YOU PROBLEM”. I turned to her and said “It’s a problem for you to fix”. I handed her the item and as she entered her code she said “please don’t get me fired”. I’m not interested in getting anyone fired. We frequent several establishments in the area and always find staff, employees & servers pleasant, helpful & respectful. The one exception is this Target. I don’t know if it’s a training issue or a management issue and frankly I don’t care. The overall disposition, attitude and disrespectful behavior of your employees is unacceptable. Our business travels take us from one end of the country to the other and NEVER have we encountered such continued disrespect & rudeness as we have at your West Valley City Store. We are here until Friday 10/2 if a manager would like to meet with us to further discuss our experiences.

Asked multiple employees for help moving a large chest freezer. Each one said they’d ask someone else. Paged for help at the nearest service station, multiple employees walked by with their walkie-talkies going off saying we needed service and not one stopped to help. Horrendous service with so many employees walking around. Absolutely dismal. How disappointing Target. And sadly this is not the first Target this happened at just today.

Friendly customer service at this location since it’s close to home. Never had an issue with products or service. I would consider visiting this location, next time you’re in the neighborhood.

Everyone was nice except a guy named Matthew! I just asked for him to hand me a drink that was already purchased! And he was so disrespectful and yelled at me!! He practically threw the drink at me !! This was the worst customer service of my life!

I love shopping here, but I am disappointed that only one cashier is open and three self checkouts because there was a long line of people waiting to check out with COVID still about. They’re putting more people at risk by having to wait to check out and not sanitizing between customers using the card reader. Especially high risk individuals. Yes, there is a plastic barrier on the numbers but it wasn’t wiped down after each use. I asked an employee why there isn’t more cashiers open and she stated, “I don’t know, I’m not in charge”. Marshall’s next to them is doing a better job at sanitizing between customers using the card reader.

I love ordering online and being able to pick up at the store. The store near my houses customer service counter is right by the front door, so its an easy in and out. The customer service rep was very helpful and nice. She found my item really fast, and I was in and out in 5 minutes!

I love shopping at this store, however the carts are always dirty and full of trash. For a couple of months now, all of the carts have bird poop in and around them. I travel out of my way to another Target store if I need more items than I can carry, because of the bird poop all over the carts! Follow up, went months later... same issue. Every cart was dirty. I left to go to another target.

Dont shop here! 6/27/2020 masks are required in all retail stores in Salt Lake County. Target has a person at the door asking if you have a mask, it is required and you can buy one. People are walking past and shopping throughout the store without a mask. My four year old grandson asked me to put a mask on him. As we walked through the store he would point at people and ask why they did not have masks on. I told him it was because those people do not care about other people. I spoke with the manager and was told they cannot enforce the mask requirement or remove anyone from the store. However, shopping without shirt and shoes is enforced. Not my store anymore.

A very well kept Target. The staff seems to be long time employees who get to know regulars. The only issue I have with this store is that the front desk can take a bit to get through when you have a return or pick up.

It was super convenient and easy for me. I’m a stay at home mom with 2 babies and one of them has a really hard time going out public, he has special needs, and gets over stimulated fast being around tons of people and crowds. So to be able to order what I wanted and needed off the Target app, pay for it no the app and just walk in and show my ID to guest services and they give me my order. Takes so much stress and anxiety off of myself, my husband, my other baby, and definitely my baby with special needs. Plus the lady at guest services was super sweet to myself and both my babies and I really appreciated that! We ended up walking around for a few minutes since it wasn’t super busy, it was very pleasant, and calm and relaxing to be able to do that with my family.Thank you for having some amazing employees, amazing app, and for trying to make life easier for so many others in our community like myself and others in our community that can’t go out shopping for what they need and have to send someone to do it for them. This app really makes it convenient to be able to do your own shopping so you can make sure you are getting what you need and want. Then being able to walk in and go to guest services and just pick it up without any hassle (at least for myself, never had a problem with picking up my items). Makes you want to do most if not all of your shopping at Target even if something might be a little more then somewhere else because of how easy it is, how convenient it is, and for my it’s ALWAYS about the customer service and you guys have ALWAYS had AMAZING customer service! Keep doing what your doing as a company and growing like you guys have because you guys definitely are in the hearts of the customers!

I order two chairs online for pickup in store. I received notification it was ready for pick up and when I got there they couldn’t find the order. They only had one of the twoChairs. I asked if they could send the order to another store and the manager told me that’s not how it works. I used a gift card for the purchase and they told me I wouldn’t get the money on the gift card for 48 hours. I called customer support who said I wouldn’t get the gift card back for 7-10 days.No one offered any sort of resolution for the situation. It’s disappointing to have a bad experience at Target.

This location wasnt my favorite. Target really isnt my store of choice. I must say though that it was very clean, stock and the staff were on point. I highly recommend.

I have not been to a target store for a while, and I finally went to one today in West Valley city. The store is completely empty… Does not have much of anything in stock. Then they only had one checker and to scan your self checkout machines… And there was a line all the way through the store... What a joke… Never shop there again.. I actually just left my basket full of stuff and walked out..

Went to the store because in the app said that Lysol spray and Microban 24 Spray was available on site and they didn’t have any. They only had Clorox wipes. I been checking the app and still says that Lysol and microban is available! Please update that so we don’t go to the store and lose our time

This target is always short on cashiers and they rely on the self check out for most of the transactions. Line is always long and frustrating. I have walked in and walked out several times when I’ve seen that the line is super long.

I want to say that this Target has a real winner of an employee named Kelsay, who is definitely an above and beyond helpful star employee. I greatly appreciated his kindness and help in providing me a successful shopping experience.

Twenty five minute in line to pay at self checkout self check out was only register s open there were no cashiers on duty also several customers in store with out face masks target is not enforcing state mandate there putting the publics safety at risk by allowing customers in without face masks

Easy to find items the ones I was looking for. How ever when I went to pay at the self serve cashier, I had to wait for an attendant because I was paying cash. He was busy helping another customer. There is technology available that allows you to pay cash without have to wait for someone. install it. this will make me think twice before going to target again.

Bought a soap dispenser for my bathroom from this location and brought it home only to find out not only does the pump not work but there was already soap in it! Someone obviously used it, broke it, and returned it and they put it back on the shelf without checking it first. Then when I tried to exchange it they told me no exchanges until after April 17th (I brought it to the District location to exchange since it is near my house). So you can sell me a USED defective product and then charge me for a new one? I told the girl to keep the defective one, not going to waste my time on a 3rd trip to the store for them to make right on a $15 item. Definitley will be taking my business elsewhere in the future.

Selection is superior to walmart and of a higher quality

When I went to Target, this white lady kept staring at us like we were going to steal an item and kept following us around. The cashier was friendly at first, but when I stared translating to my visiting mother, from another country, he grew distant and gave us an annoyed stare.

Usually have good experiences at Target. However, we drove down from Logan because they had an item in stock. When we got to the store a sales worker said they had the item in the store but would not be able to help us find it. Didnt even bother checking the back. Felt like more could have been done to help us find the item.

Overall the employees are okay, location is great. My problem with the store is not enough product selection. The dollar/Valve selection usually has nothing, holiday selection is very small . I usually will go to another store that has a bigger overall selection.

Clean, well organized store. Thats really important to me when I go out for shopping. Pharmacy staff is friendly and courteous. Prices are identical to wal-mart. Toy prices are compatible with amazon. So why not shop at target.

I do love Target. I love their new Cat and Jack clothes for my girls. Its fantastic to have options that arent covered with revolting pink, sparkly princesses. Bonus: theyre still adorable. Also, the dollar section is full of treasures and my go-to stop for stocking stuffers and Easter baskets.

The grocery section is only good for heat and eat items, not for cooking. No whole chickens, very small fresh vegetable section. Good prices on most things. Good service. Great pharmacy. Got my flu shot quickly.

Today after shopping for an hour, upon checking out the system went completely down. They could not checkout customer. We waited for 30 minutes for the system and still nothing. The employees were being so amazing even with all the stress. Offering drinks to us waiting. I ended up shopping online and doing in store pick up. The gal that fills those oderes hustled and got me checked out. Good Job employees and good luck with the rest of the day.Only down fall, online orders do not give sale prices😢 but still better than having to go and shop at Walmart.

Its always nice shopping here. The staff and atmosphere are great. Target never has overcrowded isles and long check out lines like their competitors. The few extra pennies per item are worth the sanity.

We always have fun at Target. I have coffee at Starbucks just inside the door and my wife does her Shopping. She loves a good deal, its her favorite pastime. Lan isnt normally a coffee person, but can always get the decaf. Always fun

I’m sick and tired of them NEVER answering the phone. THEY WILL LEAVE U ON HOLD FOR HOURS I’ve gone in multiple times when there’s no customers at guest services and the employees just ignore the phone. I even heard one of the guest services employees say they didn’t want to answer the phone while she talked to a friend.So rude and irritating how they don’t care for answering the damn phone

Why do I love Target? It’s Target! Duh!! What’s not to love? The only downside is that you never come out with just what you intended to buy. The online pick up is great, but I still get sucked in! Lol. Target has everything I need and want!

TERRIBLE. Bought what I thought was a new $109 router. Went home spent an hour trying to set it up. The passwords did NOT work. Called customer service in Timbuktu for another hour to find out that the router is USED and I have to send them proof of purchase so that they can change to my name. Ridiculous! Taking it back in the morning.

Very organized store . Have many items under sales and which you can’t find online store of target. So get off sofa and phone . Spend time in store will get some surprised . Also many restaurants near by ...a good place to spend whole day .

This target is my favorite location bc its clean and employers are always friendly. The other location either have clothes on the floor or toys on the floor. Sad but true... Definitely give props to these employers

I love Target. They have a large variety of home goods, clothing and food for reasonable prices. They also are open until 10 or 11 at night, depending on the day, for convenient shopping.

We usually come to this target because it’s close to home! The store is usually very clean, they have a lot of options when it comes to every single item. When it comes to toys, this is the spot to go! Christmas shopping was made easy when I took a trip to target.

I love Target, and its especially good for a teachers budget. I also love the staff at Starbucks and they always blow me away with friendly personalities. There is this one employee at Target who is always so so happy, and it makes me happy.

Just one cashier... Everyone is expected to self checkout. If I wanted to check myself out I would shop online at Amazon. one customer left because they did not want to self check out and the only cashier had a large load already in line. she was shaking and you guys probably lost a customer for life.. sad just to sav a buck. everything I bought is on Amazon if you want to be like Walmart then change your name. if you do not have 5 lines open then there should not be a line.

Ive never had a bad experience here with any of the employees, generally its clean and well stocked. Every now and then Ill come in on a Friday after work and the clothing section in particular looks a bit ransacked, sometimes there will be only one check out open on a busy Friday evening as well, but those are typical retail problems anywhere. Compared to the other Targets in the area this one always seems the most likely to have whatever random thing Im looking for.

Convenient location. Truck parking behind target. I think they could do better with some of their fitness items. Youd think theyd at least try to be somewhat competitive with walmart down the street. Disappointed

Most of my shopping experience was great, until I got to the checkout. The line I chose was open, right as I arrived, the cashier turned off her light and shooed me away saying she was closed. Two minutes later I look back at the line I was in, and the cashier was open again. Why were you closed for two minutes?

Was given coupons by the West Valley Target for problems we had with 2 separate purchases. We paid for items that never made it in the bag twice. We had to drive back to Target (11 miles) to get either the items(s) we paid for or our money back on two separate occasions. We have two coupons called With our apologies. The coupon states the $3.00 off is a token of their appreciation for our patience. Please accept this coupon valid for any purchase at any Target store. We decided to give Target another try. Imagine our surprise that Target would not accept their own sorry for the inconvenience coupons. The coupons state no expiration date. The explanation was that corporate no longer gave out the coupons. That apparently means they dont accept the coupons either-even though the wording on the coupon states otherwise. Guess they werent all that sorry for the inconvenience. Thats about as good as their apology-none. Guess we will no longer shop at any Target. They do not care about their customers.

Awful experience! Bathrooms were dirty, customer service was atrocious, and the customers that go here are always rude! Cant get a thing right! I am a Yahoo man and I created a Google account to help others out by not wasting their time and going here. Im not sure who is running this place but they need to have their head examined because the way things are here, I dont know how they have stayed in business this long. Maybe it was B squad today but change it quick or you will go out of business.

Jo Ann in customer service rocks! I printed a baby registry at home and the online price was different than the in store price. She honored the online price. I also needed help locating the item I had gone there to purchase and another associate located it in the back of the store, which required a forklift to get it down, then she brought it out to me.

It was very easy and convenient.

Higher priced store. Clean and well organized, and they do have a great movie selection. But more times than not, if you look around you can almost always find what your looking for some where else for way less money.
