Very nice place to have breakfast, however the portion of home fries was to little. Other than that was a nice experience.

Food was ok. Avocado in a $14 salad was hard as a rock, not even close to being ripe. Cook shouldve known that when trying to dice it up. The salmon however was cooked perfectly. Husbands potatoes were over cooked & dry. Eggs were cooked great.

This is my favorite place for brunch with my family. classic RI diner food with good decor and good service. the prices aren’t too bad either.
After being on keto for a month and a half I wanted something different for breakfast we stopped in at this place and we’ve never been to this diner, so we didn’t know what to expect. Well...we were beyond pleased with the results! Our waitress was absolutely the best - she was very pleasant and friendly and accommodating. The corned beef hash was the best I have ever had and the breakfast special was absolutely delicious! The portions are great enough to take leftovers which that is exactly what we did. Best of all it did not break the bank ! Can’t wait to get back and see what else they have to offer :)

Notice that people that came in after us got their food right away had to wait 20 minutes for a omelette that the broccoli was still frozen and cold my cousins eggs were under cookedCould of went to a better place for the price and had better service and food. We walked in the restaurant and stood in the doorway waiting to be seated. After a couple of waitresses walked by us with no acknowledgment, we went to sit at the counter. Thankfully we were greeted by a friendly waitress who promptly took our order. It was busy and we could over hear her say that she needed a tables food right now as it was taking a while. We waited around 40 minutes for 2 orders, when we finally got our food my eggs benedict was cooked as if it were hard boiled eggs. I sent it back and did not have it remade because I didnt have another 40 minutes to spare. It seems as though they are short staffed in the kitchen and the staff that they have doesnt know how to poach an egg. Thankfully the waitress was understanding and kindly took it off the tab. If youre in a hurry dont go here. Food absolutely not worth the wait.

Terrific breakfast and very friendly staff.
My family goes here often on Sundays and its good. Staff is mostly cheerful and food is good. Wouldnt recommend going during the week though. They dont seem adequately staffed. Waited around 15 minutes without so much as a hello. A larger party who came in after us was already ordering while my toddler kept asking me for milk that I couldnt even get.

I place an order for breakfast an hour before I pick it up... upon arrival to pick my order they tell me my ticket was lost. When my ticket is found they tell me... my order was picked up( it was NOT) bottom line. I had to wait extra 30 mins for my very simple breakfast and made me late to work! Never again!

The wait staff is friendly and the dining area is roomy and comfortable. My son loves the Texas French toast. I wasnt too impressed with my omelet but everything else was pretty good

Dont know what happened but the quality of the food has dropped considerably...gave them the last three visits to get themselves back on track to no avail...too bad, because we were frequent customers...food overcooked and sometimes burnt...food arrived to table cold on last few visits...what happened to good ole pride in one work! Ive been enjoying both this location and the original, located in Cranston (hence the name) for nearly a decade. Theyve moved to a new spot in the building next door which has a much nicer decor than their initial storefront. It feels and looks more like a bar/restaurant than a breakfast diner. Service is prompt and friendly, and the food is still excellent (and excellently cheap), with the exception of a bottomless cuppa joe (ridiculous at nearly $3!). They also offer lunch and dinner but, in my opinion, havent expanded their menu enough to offer a worthwhile dinner. Fare is classic American and Americanized dishes (excepting the breakfast menu), and is probably a good choice for those with children. Their new digs boast a liquor license, and they now serve alcoholic beverages, though I cannot attest to the quality/quantity of those drinks. All in all I believe this is a great breakfast spot that offers a decent, if lackluster, menu for lunch and dinner.

We stayed away a while because the previous visit was terrible, but wanted to give them another chance. Bad choice. Slowest service ever. We sat so long upon entering we had to ASK for a menu and coffee. Food was ok but nothing special. Pancake was too huge and therefore had to cook so long it was all dried out. Asked for hash lightly cooked...it came burnt. The room has terrible acoustics and we could barely hear each other!! Dont waste your time here!!
