This store has great customer service! Sierra was working the cash register the day I went in to buy a few things and she was lively, fun and made lovely conversation with me while checking out. All while still getting me out the door in a reasonable time. Made my day.

Who ever new there was craft stores with no cloth or fabric! And all the prices were double and triple of what a normal store is.

They have decreased the number of items/choices in their papercrafting department. Its very disappointing.

Nice location. Staff is very friendly and store layout is unique. They offer a wide variety of frames, supplies, decor, etc. I also got a great display water fountain there for my office for a great price.

Would like to see more high-end yarns and patterns for sweaters. Prices are good when you can hit a sale. Coupons are useful too. If you submit your email and create a logon in the app you always have access to some coupon or other that is currently running. Just open the app at the register and let the cashier scan your coupon from your phone. I like the fact that you enter your phone number in silence at checkout. That is more private than announcing your phone number where all the strangers standing behind you can hear it.

Michaels is a candy store for a crafter, someone wishing to update their decor, or learn a new craft. There is so much to see, that you could literally spend hours browsing in this store. The staff is always helpful and friendly, giving suggestions, and guiding you, and available for questions. They always have sales as well.

I LOVE Michaels. When it comes to budget minded crafty moms like myself...they know how to win you over. Their discounts, sales and coupons flow consistently and usually offer respectable amounts off PLUS they honor competitors coupons which is awesome. The local one here in Westerly, RI is by far the best one Ive been in solely due to the staff. Theyve been helpful beyond belief and guided me through multiple projects I randomly took on. Definitely recommend this store. Take the time to check for coupons for both Michaels AND competitors, its worth it.

The yarn selection is very poor!!! They need to expend it...people do alot of knitting and crocheting. Looks like that havent added new yarn in a long long time. Walmarts selection is better!

Michaels is supposed to be a hobby store. its a small store in Westerly. they dont have any of the 4 things (felting tools, plastic eyes n noses for stuffed animals, foam) I was looking for. What they did have was, a full isle of jewelry. On the aisle end display they had watches. And about a 15-foot display of candy!! Things I can go right up the road to Walmart and get a cheaper. Almost nothing for hobbyist😥I guess Ill go online.nice friendly staff

If youre looking for art supplies and jewelry findings save yourself a trip and go somewhere else or shop online. The inventory has been dialed back substantially in recent years, especially for the smaller stores. Michaels used to be my go to but unfortunately I cant support an establishment that doesnt carry what I need.
