I recently visited this store for help setting up a smart watch (which I did not purchase there).An exemplary employee named Katie went way above and beyond. The watch for some reason was defective, so she offered to sell me one in store. That saved me $150 off the bat! Then she looked at my account and was able to save me over $40 per month! She did all of this without being asked.On top of that she was friendly and had a rese sense of being genuine as well. Thanks Katie.

Katie is amazing. Her quality of customer service is consistant with the highest caliber. She never disappoints no matter how simple or complicated my transaction is. Katie always delivers with a smile on her face. Basically, if Katie is not available I leave and come back.

Me and my wife on a whim decided to switch service to Verizon while sitting at the beach.I googled Verizon stores near me and this store came up.we took the ride 40 minute ride to ask questions and find out more info.I walked in and this young woman greeted us with a huge smile and very friendly demeanor.”HI IM KATIE WELCOME TO VERIZON” which put me right at ease I don’t do good with this stuff. She helped me switch 4 lines and get 4 new phones.she had to fight with her computer for 30 minutes because it was giving her a hard time.by the time everything was all done it was almost an hour and a half. Keep in mind this was 5:30 on a Friday night. The store closes at 7. This woman never rushed us and made us super comfortable the whole time. Katie your a super sweet young lady and with employees like you it’s no wonder why Verizon is the best cell carrier around.

I came to the Westely store in a panic because my iPhone 12 had frozen and Apple tech support was unable to help - after a 1/2 hr on the phone. Cassie came to the rescue and in 5 minutes fixed everything. Plus she did it with the cheeriest most positive manner. She’s amazing !!!

I recently purchased a new Apple SE2020 I-Phone. My buying experience with Nick was very professional. He took the time to explain things to me and set up my phone. Being an older person who is not very good with the new technology, he was very patient, and, he did not rush me; he was very pleasant.When I returned to buyout the phone, Nick was busy with a customer, however, Kassie helped me! She also took care of me in a professional manner and answered more questions that I had. Even though we hadnt bought the phone from this store and even though he was helping another customer, he wasted no time in reassuring us he would attend to us. Nicks attitude of digging until he got the right answer was just what we needed to hear (having had an unpleasant experience at another store.) He could not have been more personable. The sales reps at this location don’t even compare to the other Verizon store in town. All they care about is selling droids and are of no help to the consumer who doesn’t care about their poor opinions on apple products. Part of being a sales representative is understanding what the consumer wants. Don’t try to change an apple lover!!

My friend and I went to Verizon yesterday to switch from our previous carrier to Verizon. We had no idea how to really go about doing it so we had a ton of questions. The lovely Kassondra had nothing but patience for us and all our questions. We spent several hours there because we were getting 4 phones. She was sweet. Extremely knowledgeable. Personable. Just a wonderful person to deal with. I’m a Manager of a company so I know all about customer service and I’ll tell you that this gal goes over and beyond. Katie was the best customer service representative Ive dealt with at Verizon. I hate verizon as a company and I think they take advantage of their customers with certain plans and pricing, but this location cant control that. What they can control is their knowledge and pleasant customer service. They look to ensure were getting the best deals and they work less techy adults through the process of getting a new phone and make it a seamless transition. Thank you Katie for helping my mom!

I had by the far the best experience that I have ever had when shopping for new wireless gadgets. Kassondra was kind, patient, and very knowledgeable. I can be quite indecisive when it comes to this kind of thing. I went back and forth on which phone to pick, then which color to pick, then back to the phone, then to which case, then to which watch. I was a nightmare lol. Never once did she seem frustrated, she was only concerned that I was happy with whatever I walked away with. She not only helped me decide on which products to buy, but she broke down my account based on several different purchase options that I was deciding between. During the three hours I was there (yes I said three), she not only helped me make my choices, but she was just an absolute joy to talk to about everyday life. Thank you Kassondra

Went to save some money after talking to T-Mobile. I was very surprised. I had 3 phones and 2 devices. Met Kassondra who was sooo helpful. spent about 2 hours with us and is looking into how we can also save with Fios on our land lines. walked out fully operational and saved money without having to change vendors. I run a small business and know every business thrives based on their employees. I would suggest you visit and then ask for Kassondra, even if you have to wait a bit - well worth it.

Extremely POOR customer service at this location. Walked in and there was a line of 4 people plus the 3 customer service agents serving 3 people. I understand they were busy with customers, but they needed to acknowledge customers that came in the door and got in line by at least saying, hello, welcome to Verizon, we will be with you in about (10 minutes or 20 minute or whatever they thought the wait time would be. Rather you stand there in line not even knowing an estimated wait time. There were 4 of us that left the store after waiting awhile unacknowledged. Out of the 4 of us, two of us had quick purchases that required no extensive service..... verizon is losing out on easy money as well as hurting their customer service reputation.

Customer Service was horrendous. They do not stand behind the products they sell using the excuse that are not a Verizon corporate store. In looking at their signage that doesnt appear to be very obvious. Staff is rude with the exception of the store manager who tried to, at least, give the appearance of being helpful. Will never go there again. Im trying to get in touch with their TCC Corporate office to file a complaint...seems there is no way to do that according to that offices miserable staff.

Went in to have a screen protector I bought at another Verizon installed and they were very rude, asking for $20 for the service to install it. I went there to buy my daughter a new iPhone and turned around and left because of the rude man with long hair. I would drive further and just visit a different store. Better off at real Verizon stores anyway.

STAY AWAY from these criminals!We got scammed by a free tablet promotion as well... we didnt even want the damn thing, but the woman at the store said wed save $20/month on our bill and get an extra 2 GB of memory. It sounded too good to be true, and we asked lots of questions. It would cost nothing each month, no activation fee, it was just a promotion for long-standing customers to promote brand loyalty. Nope. When our bill came, we had a $40 activation fee, $10/month charge, and are locked into 2 year contract. And it sounds like were not the only ones based on other reviews Ive since read on Yelp.

My 65 year old mother went in before Christmas because her cell phone wasnt working. The employee talked her into the newest Galaxy Note AND a tablet telling her the tablet was free and the phone would be cheaper per month than her current phone. She received her bill in January for over $400 including the cost of the tablet, $98. She tried to return the tablet and they lied to her and told her it would come off the next bill, it didnt of course. They consistently take advantage of people who arent tech savvy trying to get their commissions. Do yourself a favor and find an actual Verizon store, this place is an authorized retailer and a disgrace.

Customer service is great and its hardly ever busy. They treat you well and do the job right.

I just found out that this store in westerly added an extra line on to my account ($51.00 per month--Ive been paying since august). I DID NOT AUTHORIZE THIS LINE. She (Katie) fast talked me into signing papers to get me a cheaper plan and upgraded phone. I had 30 days left on my contract now I am stuck with 4 phone lines with only 3 that I agreed upon and will be going into the store tomorrow to speak to the manager to try and resolve this. If this is not resolved we can all confirm these are in fact criminals who mislead people into signing up for new (unused lines) for their own commission. If this is not resolved with my money returned in full plus this line removed and waiving the termination fee they will be reported to the BBB. Hopefully manager Courtney Moore will resolve this issue tomorrow morning 5/12/2017. I am fully prepared to file charges on katie (who sold me the phone and fraudulently conned me into signing up for a new line) if she has done this to more people than just myself. If Courtney Moore fixes my issue I will change my review.
