Cant believe I got my money back in the 25 years of shopping and knowing difficulty of getting your money back at Staples, after two weeks post electronic purchase. New to me,in a good way!
This place is the absolute worst. I will take my business to Office Max. I spend so much at staples and with horrible cashiers (Lucas)who can’t count back change, never give you your rewards, let alone a receipt and just all around zero people skills and management is just as bad.Today was my last straw with this Westerly store. Hope corporate reads this since they Purposely don’t give you a receipt for this reason!
Rude, I went to print get letters printed, I wanted to use cotton paper that I bought from staples and normally it is really easy. You just ask them to load the paper and print from the code. This time however the lady that was running the print section had a real attitude problem. Everything was a problem, from using the paper to the print me code. She took forever to print, combative off the bat and I think she over charged me. The printer also ate 2 sheets, which is fine but then she charged for using regular a paper. This is the last time I go to staples to print something.
Got refused service (rudely) for not wearing a mask because I have a serious medical condition that I was born with and have no control over. Its worsened using the mask as a healthcare worker where I ended up in the hospital. They were still saying disrespectful things as I left as well. Will be contacting the ADA and filling suit!

Okay so i come here all the time to print shipping labels and it used to be super quick and easy but now they changed the process and it takes much longer. i was in line for 25 minutes to print one page.
Always have what I need. Sales associates are always knowledgeable, and pleasant.
Sales reps helped me to compare similar products...carried my purchase to the car. Very nice.
Today I went into Staples with the goal of finding and purchasing a new laptop. I wasnt looking for anything fancy, simply something I could use for browsing and blogging. I was initially greeted by Zack who politely asked if there was anything he could help me with. I responded that I was just looking at the moment and thanked him (I wanted to see if there was even anything of interest available before bothering someone). After glancing at some of the options I decided I was ready to talk to someone about two of the less expensive models.I could not find Zack right away and a man in gray Staples apparel (maybe a Supervisor or Manager?) started to help me. Right away, he walked me away from the options I was considering and stated they were outdated. I was not surprised when he led me to the most expensive computer on display. Luckily, he called Zack back over to help me out, which I was very glad about.Zack, a younger gentleman, could not have been more helpful, informative, and receptive. He learned about what I was looking to accomplish with this new laptop. He went over several options, explaining the differences between many and patiently answered all of my questions. We reviewed the differences in pricing of several laptops with the optional add-ons of anti-virus software, product protection plans, and premier setup. He went over available discounts, financing options, etc. I truly was most impressed with his patience and ability to listen to my needs and wants as a consumer. He did not try to bully me into a product. He asked questions like: What computers have you looked at prior to coming in here? and by asking that one simple question he matched me with exactly what I was looking for at a price point I felt comfortable with.Zack is a great example of a Sales Consultant. He is someone his co-workers could learn a lot from. The two other Associates I came in contact with (one prior to Zack assisting me, and the other towards the conclusion of my visit) were pushy and uninterested in creating a helpful culture curated by learning & paying attention to my consumer interests. Zack treated me with respect and cared about my overall goal in regards to this purchase. He is the reason for my 5-star review.
