The guy who helped me (he was also the only one filleting fish) was friendly and helpful. It was late in the day, but the selection was pretty limited. I was a little disappointed in the options. However, the price on shrimp was excellent, and we left with shrimp and fresh Haddock, which were both fantastic.

I cant give enough stars to this business. I went in and bought scallops, crab cakes, shrimp and about a pound of salmon. all of the above were probably the best I have ever tasted in my entire life. I am a seafood and a sushi fanatic and have had my share. If you like seafood and you appreciate quality this is the place to go. I dare anyone to prove me wrong. The only bad thing I can say is that youre going to be sad when youve eaten what you purchased until you go and purchase more.

First time for take out was a home run! The Fish and Chips were everything one could hope for. Crispy crust with the freshest fish steamed to perfection inside. The tartar and coleslaw were really good. Since we didnt have far to travel the fries were still hot and crunchy! Cant wait to try the shrimp and the scallops!

Go. Mike will tell you the truth about the fresh fish they have caught and filleted in house and by hand. If youve any sense or appreciation for humble passion and honesty then listen up. Mike has lots more wisdom than fish...but fish is definitely a good start and the dill sauce in the little fridge is to die for with swordfish. See for yourself. Went with a few girlfriends to have Fish and Chips and it was fresh, plentiful and delicious. Definitely need to go back again soon.

Fish and chips were great 8.99 well with it. They let us have a couple of shrimp cocktail for free which was also the best tasting shrimp ive had since I had the fresh caught from North Carolina. Very clean friendly no strong fish smell in the building which means all fresh nothing old and lingering.

We have enjoyed fresh fish from the many retail fish markets in Westerly. They are all good. But The Fishery stands out as the best fish market we have ever found in the region. Their fish is amazing, fresh and delicious. But get there early for best selection. They can sell out an hour before closing.

The fish and chips were not any way the quality I have had in past. We were very much disappointed. We only get to westerly for one week in the summer. My husband had not been in westerly for several years. I told him how good your. Fish and chips were. Boy was I surprised. Fish portions were skimpy. Our comments were we won t be going back there again.

This little fish market is a local gem. They always have the freshest selection. They usually have take home dinners if you arent up for making something yourself but if you are, Shawn is always up for cooking/prep recommendations. You may even surprise yourself with how it comes out!

We got 2 orders of fish and chips for dinner last night. They were without a doubt the worst I have ever seen. Dark brown greasy crust that was dripping in grease. Wont be back.

About a mth go we stop in n got the fish n chips and it was fantastic I went in the next time the fish n chips were still fantastic but only two pieces of fish n a handful of the chips but this last time lets just I wont be back the grease is old the was over cooked and it didnt taste like cod sorry but you lose us

Clean store its true. I wanted chopped clams for chowder and they said they only had frozen ones in back. I said ok and they cost $7.99 for pint -I usually pay around $5 but he kept talking about how there is a lot of juice with it also. When I inspected the clams at home I could see the container was only 1/3 clams and the rest juice. Total rip-off and he knew it. I dont know if it was because I was a tourist but he knew that the setup wasnt right. They need to be a little less unscrupulous when dealing with the public. I had swordfish (1 1/2 lbs.) which was good but felt totally ripped off because my bill came out to $48 for that and 3 pints of juicy clams . Bad kharma!
