We used S&R carpets to replace old carpets in a house we just moved into and they were fantastic! It was done very efficiently - they came one day to rip out old carpets and the next to replace with the new ones. I had expected it to take multiple days but it was done so fast and we were able to move our things in the same night. Steve is easily accessible for any concerns and their prices are affordable. Highly recommended!

We were referred to S & R Carpets by a friend to stretch our upstairs Berber rugs to remove several buckles in the carpeting that had emerged over the years. We moved into a house with ratty carpeting on the staircase to add to it our Lab and her shedding made it worse, so we wanted to get carpet for the stairs for several reasons. There were beautiful selections to choose from at SnR. Shawn was very helpful in educating us in what would suit us best with a dog and a baby on the way. The installation was handled very professionally as well, installers were on time, finished padding and laying out the carpet in just a few hours and because we had chosen a carpet with a pattern, they made sure to cut and match the pattern in a uniform manner. I popped into Steves showroom in Westford on my day off and Steve, although Im sure busy with other things, very quickly processed and understood my big idea for a loft space that needed new rugs. I had a budget, and he kept my bottom line in mind as he searched for the color and grade of carpet that would work for my space. He came to my home the next day to measure and we agreed to a price point, which was quite reasonable. His guys did a tremendous job making my loft look brand new again. They showed up on time, did an excellent job installing the rug, cleaned up the space, and left my home in better shape than when they came in. Call S & R Carpets if you need work done. He worked with me to determine what types of underlayment I needed, how to make some difficult transitions between rooms, and didn’t get annoyed at me at all when I kept changing my mind. We used S&R Carpets for installing a floating hardwood floor over a concrete slab. The room had its challenges as it was sunken from the rest of the house and had concrete steps that also required wood installed on them. Steves flooring crew did a great job in coming up with the best solution that would work for the room. The flooring guy Chris is very detailed oriented and took a lot of effort to make sure everything went together. He even came in on a weekend to finish the job. It was really easy working with S&R as they are local and we got immediate response.

They clearly and frankly explained, in their beautiful showroom, what would work best for me for a hardwood floor installation. The guy who came to measure helped me make some decisions that would affect the room (air returns, door thresholds, etc.), in a very clear manner. Installation was hassle-free in a single day. The results look amazing and there isnt a single functional or cosmetic defect anywhere. I couldnt be more satisfied.
