My three family members have been loyal customer for decades. Two of us have different eye insurance plans and one has none. The one of us who has no eye care/vision coverage was forced to pay over $800 for eye glasses and extremely high payment for services left over from the 20% that medicare did to cover and services that werent covered at all by Medicare. The two of us that had vision plans paid next to nothing. It was a stark example of the poorest getting price-gouged. This was with a 10% discount that we begged for.

Incredibly rude and unhelpful staff that would be better suited for a military base than an eye doctors office. I broke my glasses two weeks ago and when I went in they refused to give me an appointment to buy new glasses until a week out, despite them being broken. They never notified me when my glasses arrived and I had to call several times before they finally answered as to whether they were in. Staff refuse to let you enter without a mask and appointment. They refused to tighten my new glasses without appointment, despite this policy being untold, unmentioned, and not posted. Seem to expect you to know their updated COVID restrictions without actually mentioning what they are, with the sole exception being the mask requirement being mentioned. The appointments for new glasses and tightening is a new and unstated policy.

I have been there twice. First time they helped me a great deal in choosing sunglasses. Second time was to put my new prescription in old fames. They answered all my questions and I didn’t feel rushed.

I just finished my follow up visit after laser assisted cataract surgery last fall. I was surprised how quick and painless the surgery was! Less than twenty minutes, and it was done. It was like looking into a Kaleidoscope. You see an array of red lights. Suddenly they pull away like when you turn the kaleidoscope. Then an array of orange sections and then it changes again to white lights. It was fun. No pain. suddenly I can see as clearly as when I was a baby. No amber haze. Now I see all the blue in the world. Sharp as a tack. The Family Eye care center was very friendly, professional. And they even helped us manage the laser assist.

Everyone that works here is so nice! They explain everything in detail and the woman who helped me choose my glasses was so great! She picked frames perfect for me (because I asked her too!) She also explained all my insurance information and helped me choose my best deal on my new glasses. Can’t wait to get them! 🤗

I have been going to Family Eye Care for many years now. Dr. Kelly is a wonderful doctor and answers all our questions. I also want to give specific feedback for Caitlin S. in the eyeglass section of the business. She is very personable, very easy to talk to, did not rush us, and remembers things we have told her just in passing. She is a wonderful asset to that side of the business, and does customer service very well.

I have been going to the Family Eye Care for years. Everybody on the staff is so helpful, all the doctors are great I’ve never had a problem. Actually, I have many problems with my eyes and they always take me when I need them to and are very thorough.

I can not say enough positive things about this whole practice. They go above and beyond to ensure your eyes are healthy. I have had several eye issues due to severe nearsightedness. Dr B came in on his day off to see me when I had an emergency. I never feel like I am bothering them with questions and the whole staff is very professional and go out of their way to service their patients. Not only the best eye care provider I have been to, but also the best overall medical practice Ive ever been to.

My two year old needed to go in for an eye appointment because of something her pediatrician saw. The doctor was amazing in handling someone so young. As a person whose had to endure many eye appointment as a child I would have loved to had a doctor like her! The facilities were so clean and everyone was so kind! I opted for the Laser surgery and the triple lens which will replace the need for glasses.Every follow up visit after my surgeries have been professional and positive. I recently had cataract surgery on both my eyes. I opted for the triple lens which now gives me the freedom not to have contacts, glasses or readers!As a result of having both surgeries, I’ve had a number of visits to the office with the staff and with the doctor. Every experience has been professional and positive. The office is one of the most well-managed professional environments I have ever experienced. My healing process was very slow, but the doctor and staff were very reassuring to me and followed my healing every step of the way.Surgery was done at a surgical site in Chelmsford. That experience was also very convenient and the team there were very comforting and reassuring.These types of surgeries are never guaranteed and everyone is very individual in terms of how he or she will react. However, my experience was outstanding and I’m very happy with my results.

I had been seen at another practice annually. After an eye accident, and the resulting emergency visit, I became a patient at Family Eye.I credit the Doctors at Family Eye with saving my eyesight. The other practice completely missed an issue that could have blinded me.The facility is beautiful and clean. The staff are knowledgeable, professional and friendly.

I had an amazing experience here with my 2.5 year old twin boys. Julie Hiura was so good with them, had so many tricks to help them follow instructions. Plus the entire facility was doing such a great job following COVID safety guidelines. Would highly recommend.

I have been to the center for the eye stye treatment. I was prescribed medicine, and doctor suggested that if the problem persists then I can visit the clinic again. But then I received a call from the clinic and was forced to visit even after I told them multiple times that I am feeling ok and I dont want to visit unnecessary during the COVID times. She forced me to visit and the follow up visit was just for 2 minutes and I was charged more than my first visit. I felt that the visit was not necessary and it was just a means for them to collect money from people. I read reviews about such behaviors from others but thought of giving them a fair chance but I think that was a mistake. I would highly recommend against this clinic visit even if you find this to be the last eye clinic on earth.

Very impatient, rude and ignorant staff. Every phone call I had with anyone in administration are disrespectful and uncompassionate even during these times. Wish we never made that first appointment. Will never go back and I suggest no one else even bother trying. I’ve never been appalled by a business or organization to leave a bad review like this. I asked to speak to the doctor to make complaints / notify them of their incompetent staff but never called me. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!

My appointment was on time, and each of the technicians and staff I interacted with were courteous and friendly. The exam was very thorough, and I left with a copy of my prescription, and none of the pressure Ive been subjected to previously to purchase way-overpriced eyewear.There seemed to be a lot of people in the office, and due to the nature of the exams, there were a lot of people sitting around, although well spaced out.

Called this office in December when i was looking for an eye care physician that accepted my health insurance, they happen to accept it so i made an appointment (which the earliest date was January 25th a month and half away) so i gave receptionist my information / health insurance info etc. and thought i was all set for my appointment. Receptionist calls me today January 22nd (4 days before appointment i have been waiting over a month for) asking me what health insurance i have (after i called and made sure they accepted the insurance i have and gave them all my information) then when i tell the receptionist the insurance i have she tells me sorry we will need a referral or we can not complete the appointment! So they waited over a month to tell me 4 days before my appointment that i need a referral on a friday afternoon and my appointment is monday! Receptionist should be fired! Terrible customer service i will never spend a dollar with them! Taking my business where they appreciate it and take care of their customers!

Great service from my provider. Very strict covid precautions were appreciated. Usually a long time to get an appointment.

I arrived and was greeting immediately. She asked all of the Covid questions and took my temperature. Everyone was polite and professional. I felt safe with how they handled the business.

I was referred by a co worker to see Caitlin at Family Eye Care for a new set of glasses. I’ve heard great things so I made an appointment with her to go over different style glasses that fit my face. I’ve been so several different offices with no luck. Caitlin was BY FAR the most knowledgeable in her field, giving me suggestions for styles that best suited and brightened up my face. All other stores I’ve tried on what feels like hundreds of pairs, but Caitlin knew exactly which pairs would fit me best. The second pair she had me try on was the ululate winner and I am over the moon with them! Caitlin not only found me the perfect pair, but gave me so much information For care protection insurance that I left feeling so excited! She made sure I got the best discount that came along with insurance as well. She was amazing. And the best part was that my glasses came in the very next week!! I can’t say enough good times about this place. I would 100% recommend going to talk to Caitlin about your eye care every time. Thank you so much Cait!! :)

The SurgiSite facility, like the Westford office was clean and modern, and the nurses, et al. were very professional and caring. The surgeries went very well, just as planned. I completely trust Dr. Baharozian with my eyes!

Very rude staff, I had a really bad experience with even the optometrist who blamed me for things her staff did. When I argued back she backed off.But I’m transferring care to another practice.I’m entitled to a better and pleasant experience!

I have been going to Dr. Baharozian for my eye care for several years now. As a full fledged procrastinator, I finally broke down and had the recommended cataract surgery. I have to say that all my fears were allayed by Dr. Baharozian and his staff (Aubrey was very helpful and knowledgeable). They were great! A shout out to Surgisite North in Chelmsford as well. The staff there were professional and very kind. It absolutely amazes me that I am typing this without wearing glasses. I highly recommend Family Eye Center and Dr. Baharozian. Thank you!

I’m surprised to see so many negative reviews. After leaving Lexington Eye because of unbelievably poor customer service, Family Eye Care Center was a refreshing change. The reception staff here are friendly and efficient, appointments run on time, and I really like my doctor. Plus, they have been incredibly accommodating if I need to switch an appointment. This place is the most unprofessional business I have ever been to. Billed my insurance company over $1000 for glasses that I could not wear due to the fact that the prescription was wrong. I had to go out and pay Costco to get a new pair of glasses! This place deserves a minus 5

I had an ok experience... very good when I went to get my vision check and everything, picked out and ordered my glass on August 2 and I haven’t gotten them to this day... very disappointed because they said it would take 7-10 days and it’s literally almost been a whole month

The contact lens staff member talked me into purchasing a full year of contacts because there is a $50 rebate through acuvue. I purchased the contacts last month, they charged my insurance and me. Now I go to complete the acuvue rebate and it states that the receipt must state specific lenses purchased.I called into the office 4 times now trying to get this resolved so I can get my $50 back. Linda (office manager) was rude and stated that even though its in their terms for the rebate she doesnt think its needed. Acuvue is trying to resolve this for me even though the office is refusing to meet their terms. SEEN HERE FROM THEIR WEBSITE.

I had an old pair of glasses that I brought from China 20 years ago. I was not using it until recently. However one screw on the glass came out. I tried to screw it in but I destroyed the screw. I came to family eye care center for help. They fixed it for me for free. Really appreciated!

The doctors are caring and compassionate. I dont think its right that as a masshealth member Im able to be seen here but cant get my glasses. Also its ridiculous that after being a patient for 3 years they suddenly refuse to see me without a primary referral.

Ive been going to Dr Baharozian for many years and I have the highest confidence in him. Hes a fan of technology so the office has the latest of everything. He did my cataract surgery and Im very happy with the result, my vision is perfect again.

The eye care professionals are great and the technology they have is top notch. But they lose me on the process of buying new glasses.The sales people are just ok and their prices are quite expensive. It’s not unheard of for an affluent town like Westford, but if you’re not one of the affluent people, the prices and the treatment you get from them can leave you feeling looked down upon when you have to politely say no to all of the expensive options they try to push on you.When I bought my glasses a few months ago, I worked with a guy (who has been there a long time) and I asked about clip on sun glasses and he said ... “Oh, those are just another 150.00 to add on” and proceeded to add them to the bill and I had to ask him not to add them and got a bit of a “huff and sigh” as he took it off the bill, and he reiterated “Again it’s only 150.00.”Maybe that’s nothing to most of their customers, but it was completely unaffordable to me. I ended up finding very similar clip ons at Walmart for 15.00.It’s too bad that they have such a great eye care service and it’s brought down by the sales process.

I wish I could give 0 star here. This store is a fraud. They ripped me off with a piece of junk frames/lens and with worst ever customer service. Stay away from this store!!!!I was billed $1,030.00 for a regular eye exam and a Flexon frame. The frame was broken without any reasons in just a few months. The store customer care representatives said they had a lot of complaints about this frame. I was given the choice to replace a same frame at a cost of $25 according to the warranty. However, a few month later, the same Flexon frame was broken again without any reasons. I was again given the choice to replace a same frame at a cost of $25 according to the warranty. Only a few months later, the same Flexon frame was broken again.This time, the store manager Linda refused to get a me a replacement, and rudely lied and argued that I should restyle the frame previously, which I was not given the choice last time. Instead of putting customer and quality at first place, Linda tried hard to argue with customer rudely and insisted that I should restyle as the frame they sold me was very bad quality.I was charged more than a thousand of dollars only getting junks and rude customer service. I wasted so much time on this piece of junk and this store. This store is a fraud with very bad customer service. They will rip you off with junk frames/lens. I will invite third party to involve in this matter. Stay away from this store!!!!

Clean, some staff are friendly some treat you like your just a number. At first I thought it was just the first time I came in maybe people working there had a bad day. But been in a couple more times and same. It is very much run as get in and get you out and for their profit. Not really there for the patients.

It is Christmas Eve day. I stepped on my sons $300 pair of glasses about an hour ago. Im thinking the best I can hope for is to get the wrecked glasses to the store so they can send them out early enough that I can get the back in time before school vacation ends. I drive them down to the new store at Cornerstone Square. Im surprised when asked to take a seat and wait for them. Im still thumbing through a magazine to find an article to read. My name is called and Im being handed a pair of glasses that look brand new. I dont think I spent more than 30 minutes from the moment I stepped out my door to my return. And to top it off: No Charge.Yeah, a rating of Excellent is clearly in order.

I went there once in hopes of getting fitted for bifocal contact lenses. Everything there is ridiculously expensive. When I called to get the records of my visit sent to my regular eye doctor, they told me there would be a $20 copy fee for MY record. All flash and not good customer service.

I called today to schedule my yearly appointment and was told they have no appointments available until June. I have been going to Family Eye care for over ten years, time to find a new provider that I dont have to wait over a month to see. The new building is very nice and the equipment is state of the art, if you dont mind waiting over a month for an appointment I would recommend them.

Very expensive even with insurance. Dr came in disheveled most of the time. 115 dollars for a photo charged to insurance. Not a good experience and they didnt even remedy the situation. Go somewhere else.

Worst experience ever. They charged me $215 PER EYE for fundus photo ($430 for both eyes). Even my EyeMed insurance kicked in, it still cost me our of pocket $99. This was way overcharge than any other places. The LensCrafters staff felt surprise that I was charged in such a way. They only charge $125 for BOTH eyes in NO insurance. If you have any insurance, it only costs $20 for the copay.They never told me how much they will bill my insurance company since they know they will overcharge me. No client will perform any exam if they know the price. I asked if this cost out of pocket before the fundus photo exam, they just said different insurance covers differently. This is how they respond to most people, to make them confused, perform the exam with no knowledge, and receive the overcharged bill. I hate people doing business like this. This is my first time and definitely the last time doing eye exam here.[Update Oct. 29] I finally received their billing information to my insurance company. They billed $395 for annual eye exam and $35 for refraction exam. The total comes to $430. Even though I dont have to pay this annual exam out of my own pocket due to my EyeMed insurance, but LensCrafters told me that they bill only $120 for this annual exam. I dont want to say anything more about my worst experience in this place, and I will also not suggest you not going there if you insist on doing so. GET YOUR MONEY READY!!!!
