A good selection of British foods and some weirdly cheap tourist junk, but the food is good. They also have more things behind in the warehouse so do ask if you dont see something.
Brings back memories of yesteryear in living and working on Ireland & UK.From the 🫖s 🍵s tea bags & boxes, the Real Sweet creamy Cadbury Chocolates the real chocolate Biscuits, drinks of sorts,jams,... All those and so much more.. even that black pudding, sausages, pies, bags of sweets, souvenirs that you would get at the airports.Very Clean & Bright, very friendly..Definitely well Worth it.
Well, a delight! 😁 I am South African, there are no South African shops here but luckily for us, we share some of the British products and have stocked up on those treats for a while 😁
I purchased Fentiman’s tonic water from British Delights via WM online. I paid $55 and got 3 bottles, yes 3 bottles. This is a scam. I contacted WM and they are crediting my order. Steer clear of this store.
I see some people are saying it is expensive. I think some products were a little pricey, however I expected this being a specialty store. But there are a lot of items that I feel were reasonably priced or even cheap. So overall, I do not think they are pricey. They are primarily crackers, tea, candy, other snacks. They have jams and preserves. I went however for breakfast pudding sausage that they sell there. They have a single large freezer with some stuff in it. Overall, I am glad this store exists.
Great little shop with plenty of goodies. Totally a hidden gem. Highly recommend making this a stop if youre in the area.
If you are missing products you could only find in Great Britain, look no further. The store is lovely and the selection is terrific.
All our favorite foods from the UK (or at least recipes even if made in the states). Staff are super friendly and helpful. Hidden away, but worth the drive if you are craving that Cadbury fruit and nut bar, or bangers, or pork pies!
Mostly candy and snacks, but they did have the very hard to find ingredients golden syrup, caster sugar, and black treacle I was looking for, and also some British Indian ingredients that were on my shopping list. Best prices Ive seen for maldon salts too! If I end up continuing to need these ingredients, Ill keep coming by.
I love this place, me and my friends always bike there for drinks and candy even though I’m not British still love it.
Pretty good inventory of Brit stuff...freezer section not so much.....expensive....but go and get the stuff you crave.
This store has an excellent selection of sugar free biscuits. They also have many other products. This was our first time going there and everything we bought was fantastic.
2020 Update: I was at British Delights yesterday and theyre all stocked up for Christmas. I know this stuff sells FAST, now is a good time to go and theyre following all COVID procedures as far as I can tell.British Delights is a great place for anything whos sampled chocolates, candies and other goods from England or Ireland. They have a huge selection of Cadburys and Rowntrees candies (sweets) as well as those from other makers. Also a good selection of biscuits (cookies) including McVities. And Walker crisps (chips) in Cheese&Onion and other classic British flavors. They have a shelf at the end of the store where items are on sale because theyre past expiration date. Sometimes there are great bargains to be had there.Often theres no-one in the store when you go in -- theyre working in the warehouse at the back. If you ring the bell on the wall beside the checkout counter theyll come right out.
Love this Store.Blanca is a fabulous manager, goes above and beyond to help customers.
Amazing selection of English favourites and at reasonable prices. We will be back
Lovely little shop that carries lots of British sweets, condiments and other things.
Very nice supply of British supplies. I wish the clerk wore his mask properly.
Very good selection of British foods and more (and all a Doctor Who fan needs - Jelly Babies, Jammie Dodgers and now Custard Creams). Some reviews have noted an absence of employees and this was our experience when we first came in. This is a small storefront with a larger warehouse in the back that supports a busy web business. Poking my head in the back quickly brought out an employee to ring us up.
I love this place SO MUCH. Not only does it have a TON of British foods, but the stuff they have there is the HIGHEST of qualities. This place is truly the toppest of notches and I heavily recommend it 👌🏻
Good selection of British staples, but at a hefty price.
Off the beaten path but its definitely a treasure!!!Prices are actually decent even though its imported goods. If youre a fan of British treats or miss the taste of home I highly recommend this place- if you cant physically buy from here - you can buy online from them!
Loading area in the rear of building. Not dock good for 53, forklift available
I love this shop! My husband is British and has been looking for a good place to buy his necessities. He has now found it here! Great variety and priced reasonable. Thank you so much for staying open a few moments longer. We appreciate it more than you could know.Sincerely,Brit & Yanky
Wow, this market is so fantastic so hold on to your ginger nuts! Youll find that British Delights is a wonderful alternative to ordering online for certain expat delights! Staff is very knowledgeable and if something is out of stock, theyll give you phone call when the item is restocked!
I had excellent service with British Delights. I have been a patron of theirs for over five years. I recently bought reordered a special butter dish. The one I received was defective. I called them and spoke to the manager. He was extremely nice. The item was wrapped from the manufacturer. British Delight assumed it was fine and shipped it to me. I offered to ship it back but the manager said no. Instead he guarenteed he would open up the box from the manufacturer and ensure the next dish would be right or he would refund my money. Two days later I received a perfect dish. Thank you British Delights! George Yates, New Castle, Pa
Oooh where do I begin....if you grew up in a country that was under British rule and are familiar with the candy and other British foods then this place is heaven!!! I was literally like a kid in a candy store, excited about all the junk-free candy. If you are looking for candy that doesnt contain artificial colors and flavors, look into the British candies. Well be back as soon as Ive lost all the weight gained from the last trip.
Good selection of stuff also alot cheaper than ordering stuff from the UK and paying the shipping costs
Being British it has everything we like
The clerk was helpful and very nice. Lots of great finds at the store. Many lovely treat and meals too.
Great stuff from the UK and Ireland in a warehouse setting (or to purchase online) so dont expect to be served cream tea when you get there! Theyve got what ex pats require with minimal overheads.
Ordered 2 pint glasses as a Xmas gift 12/9 .one was broken upon arrival emailed British delights they asked for pics of broken item which I promptly did. They promised a replacement I have inquired several times which they did reply once but have had no reply since . I think 2 months is plenty of time to replace the item or issue a refund
Terrific selection, but lousy in-store service. No one in the store as I shopped around. Ready to check out, stuck my head in the office where a woman was seated. She yelled some name, finally a teenage girl emerged from the back and just said to me, What? What do you mean What? I asked. What do you want? she said. Im ready to pay, I said holding up the item I was purchasing. Oh. She led me to the register, took my money, and that was it. No thank you. Very weird.
A delightful little store. Nice selection and the prices arent bad for a niche market store. I look forward to going back soon.
Order came in quickly. Excellent service.
Excellent supply of British foods.
I went to get the usual fixings of a full English breakfast, and all the ingredients were there, from white bread to black pudding. The only thing that stumped them was that they didnt have my favorite red leicester cheese. But they have a great wensleydale. And the prices are reasonably cheap. Will shop again.
Great selection!
So much British stuff. They have bangers and pork pies which is largely why we were here. Prices are reasonable.
Love this place with all authentic british treats and gifts.
Good place to get your british goods. If you dont have a lot of cash, visit the back wall for half price stuff(mostly pay date, some damaged packages). They shop a lot of good in the mail, so they can often be busy. Good selection of british goods, though.
A true taste of home. I loose myself in the confectionery isle!
TERRIBLE SERVICE. I placed an order with this company over 6 weeks ago and immediately they charged my credit card. Days later I received an email that stated that it would take them 1-3 weeks to get the order in. I informed them that I needed a more definite date, the lady said she could not give me one. Over four weeks after the order was placed I emailed and asked if they had shipped my order. Of source they had not. Now it has been almost 7 weeks and still order. I have sent them and email and now they are not responding to emails. TERRIBLE SERVICE. They should not advertise that they have a product if it will take 3 months for them to get it in. They are unreliable and should not be in business. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. TERRIBLE.
A great niche shop to find things from the British Isles
Interesting, quirky store. I think most of their business is online and so people seem to be busy in the back. Service in the store can be iffy.
Small store with nice selection of UK specific food - like tea, cookies and chocolate. Some souvenirs too.
My wife and I have been frequenting British Delights for the last two years, more so recently as our young one loves the Cadbury products and they have quite a selection of them. The store isnt large, but they have all of the staples that you would expect from a store named British Delights. At my most recent visit, I was surprised and happy to see they had actual British shaving soap. Its not that I cant find it online or through a specialty shop, but it is now at a place I frequent regularly and so it can become part of my routine instead of a trip I have to make. The prices are fair and the products are rotated regularly and kept to code and fresh. Worth the visit, if you spot it; the biggest downside. the store is located inside what looks to be an office-type building with nothing more than a small sign and British flag hanging out of a window. You either have to know where it is or be looking for it because you would drive by unsuspecting of it.
Only place around to get British/UK speciality items locally. They carry a bunch of dry good and some frozen meats.
Being able to acquire treats from the UK and Ireland is absolutely fantastic
Full of British goodies, if you love good milk chocolate go here.
Cute store with a lot of delicious treats.
I have been a loyal and steady customer for years and recently ordered frozen foods which I have done in the past. This order was shipped with 2 small ice packs and no dry ice. The frozen goods came warm and slimy. When I emailed to complain and asked them to replace my items (valued around $45) they refused telling me the package was shipped properly. When I told them it wasnt they then said I was outside of the 48 hour window so wont replace the items. Are you kidding me? This is the one and only time I have asked them to replace an item they failed to ship properly and thats their response? Disgraceful. Its obvious they do not stand behind their products and have no level of customer service.
Great place to get Cadbury Chocolate from Europe, also teas, biscuits, uncle Bens sauces, tea pots, all kinds of English can goods, rashers, jams, etc
Great place. To get most of the things you miss from home xxx
Excellent Store to buy British food.. Love it!
Functional store, crappy service. When they have the items you order theres no problem - when they are out of stock they often (usually) forget to inform you and also to remove the item from the invoice. Of the 3 orders Ive done 2 have come back with missing items that I was charged for. The first time I contacted them I eventually got a response and a credit. The second time it happened I got a delivery failure from their email. The items werent terribly expensive but thats beside the point. From a customer service angle they are a struggle to deal with. Occasionally (though I dont think malice is intended) they charge you for things they do not send. Its a great shame to me as they are relatively local to my Boston location.
Excellent selection of British imported foods and other goods.
Lots of good stuff!
Best way, best chocolate.
Love going to see all the great food, you have
All the real Cadbury you could ever want. Flake, Wispa, Crunchie, etc. Other brands too, all imported. If you think a Hershey bar is blah, come here now!
Pretty decent place. Mmmm, Jaffa cakes.
I ordered aero chocolate as well as 2 cases (6 bottles of elderflower cordial per case). The aero arrived, no problem. No elderflower. They told me it would be 2 - 4 weeks. after a month, no elderflower, I contacted them, they said it hadnt arrived in their recent shipment. I said why didnt they tell me (I would have ordered it elsewhere at that point). They said another 2 - 4 weeks. They were very quick to offer a refund - I wanted to wait but got frustrated that they didnt seem to know when, if ever, theyd get it in, and never bothered to keep me updated. in the end, without asking me, they just refunded me FOR THE PURCHASE PRICE of the elderflower. I said wait a second, what about the SHIPPING charges for the elderflower - they just said no, theyll refund me for the two cases, about $75. I wrote and said how dishonest that was, if I have paid for the product AND for shipping (which was just over $12), and if they never shipped the product, then they MUST refund my shipping charges. I got an email saying they wouldnt refund the aero, as I had received it. Dont know why they thought I was asking about the aero, I was very clear - this was about the shipping charges for the elderfloiwer. Couldnt be more simple. They did not or chose not to understand, and In the end, I had no choice but to dispute it with Amex (just the shipping charges for the elderflower). Moments after Id emailed them and told them I had disputed the shipping charge for the elderflower, I got an email saying theyd refunded me $9 or so dollars. WHY $9? My shipping charge was over $12 !!!! Why are they deliberately trying to KEEP MY MONEY!!!! ALL they should have kept was the $29.99 or so for the aero and the $9.10 that the shipping cost for the aero and they should have refunded the difference. How difficult is that? Even my 4 year old nephew could work that one out.My one star review is not for the one month delay or the fact that they NEVER got the elderflower in stock - or that they never bothered to tell me that the month old order I was waiting for hadnt arrived and that most likely they had no idea if or when theyd ever get it in - it was that they tried to cheat me out of shipping charges for a product they never shipped. And when they finally did refund me, they UNDER-refunded me. Im glad I disputed it because if you dont ship a product to someone, you cannot keep their shipping charges. Product quality is great, no problem there - very happy with the aero - but not with their dodgy business practices. So just be aware, thats all.
So convenient to be able to order online ! (shipping is a little expensive though... and they dont seem to offer coupons)
Nice atmosphere and selection of beers. Server was not that familiar with British fare other than what was on the menu but that is not unexpected.
Do not trust this company!! At best they are incompetent, at worst they are fraudulent.June 8th – Ordered a case of Cadbury Twisted Cream Eggs from their web site that was “in stock”. $43.17 was taken from my account. I have statements and an email from the bank as proof.June 11th - Informed that the item is out of stockJuly 8th - Requested updatedJuly 11th – Was informed that no Cadbury Twisted Cream Eggs had arrived on their latest shipment.August 14th – Requested refundAugust 15th – Refund denied. British Delighted claimed that the transaction did not go through. I emailed with a request that they check again and copied the text from my bank account showing the withdraw by British Delights.I have since been ignored. I have even emailed them a copy of the transaction form from the bank along with a forwarded email regarding the transaction.
Good source for british made goods
Terrible experience attempting to get a refund for goods they did not have. Numerous emails and calls ignored, Finally had to contact the State Attorney Generals Office. Still do not have my money back (over 5 weeks after I first sent in my order).Stay away! Be warned!
Interesting little store
So yummy, so awesome.
Favorite. Get your candy fix
Really cool place
Check out the back wall for the clearance items.
Love shopping the specials
