If you want to see tropical birds being neglected to the point theyre plucking their own feathers out and/or being left alone in a small back room in the dark then come through. added bonus leaving them under an air conditioning vent when they should be in rooms upwards of 75/80 degrees. bizarre.

They are the best, ask for help (or they will offer help yeah quick) and your day just got better

Just had a very bad experience at the Westford MA store. I received a coupon in the mail which was valid thru 10/31 but they would not let me use it because their system incorrectly said I had already used it earlier in the day which was not true. The last time I shopped Ace hardware was in September. They said there was nothing they could do to give me the $5 off which I was entitled to. Very poor customer service.

Great hardware store. Not too big. Great to quickly stop by and pick up to finish your job. The staff here are super helpful and friendly. They know exactly what you need the minute you tell them what you are working on. They are also looking forward to helping you. The store has everything you are looking for even though its a small store. They are well organized and have really good deals.

The best of the best when it comes to customer service.

Super sad neglected cockatiels caged in the store for no purpose are exposed to fumes and cold. They are puffed up and their eyes are half closed and they have growths and discharge. They get no time out of their cages. They say they are rescues but clearly they need to be rescued from this store.

I’m not sure what it is about this place but it is always something at the front desk. I’m going to chalk it up to teenage cashiers who don’t really care what they are doing. Today the excuse was “you tried to use this coupon somewhere else”. Well kiddo, I either would have used this coupon previously, in which case the coupon would be gone vis a vis the cashier taking it, or the coupon was not used. It took calling over the manager to override. Thanks for your help kids.

The hours are too short, but its a great store. Almost always has what I need for a quicker in and out than the bigger box stores. Very friendly and helpful service. The extra few dollars and cents is worth what I save in time and gas to go elsewhere, and in the meantime get to support great people.

Great staff, good stock that can avoid a visit to a big box store, but most importantly, they have loose hardware so you can fit your part to find just the right screw, bolt, washer or nut, just like an old neighborhood hardware store!

You cant get everything you can at a Home Depot but its the right size for do many things that I chose to here instead. Staff is super helpful. Rewards are kind of useless unless you go a lot.

I tried to get a few chain saw chains sharpened and they wanted to charge me $30 per saw to take it off and on, plus sharpening. Wow I spent a lot of money there! I don’t mind someone making money, but give me a break! I’ll take my business elsewhere.

Whether you call or go in person the staff at this store are knowledgable and always ready to help. If they don’t have an item they’ll call their store on Littleton Rd or will order it for you. Skip the big box store and go here, you’ll spend less time shopping, get the right part the first time and most items won’t cost more. Also, their how to DIY advice is always helpful.

Frankly, one of the best Ace Hardware stores Ive ever been to. Besides everyone there being friendly and in a good mood, their selection of Craftsman tools was a great surprise, along with their impressive fastener selection and their wide selection of load-bearing hooks and couplers. Id go there regularly if I didnt live so far away.

This store seems special to me. They have the Craftsman tool line. Anytime I need a tool warrenteed and or if the dont have it in stock they will order it for me. Super friendly staff and happy caged birds that I spend time with each visit.Excellent customer service and extremely stocked store with lots of new product lines. Im very pleased with this store.

Wow! Im not sure Ive ever been in such a nice hardware store. They have Every. Thing. Even a good selection of womens Carhartts, which you cant find anywhere! We were assisted by Andy Irwin who provided friendly, efficient, old school knowledgeable service. Fantastic.

They refuse to accept return of merchandise boight in a different Ace hardware. Refuse to take back stuff bought under 30 days, telling me its unlikely you didnt youse if it took you 3 weeks to return. Generally unfriendly and unhelpfull. Products oerpriced. Stay away. Loews and home depot just 15 minutes away

I found that Westford Ace hardware was the absolute best of its kind in Westford. I needed to duplicate my house keys and they performed the task without fail. I have had trouble with the larger retailers which sometimes make mistakes that potentially can damage my door locks! Westford Ace saved the day!
