A great mountain close to RI and South Coast. Really nice conditions and not crowded. Currently reservations are for 4 or 2 hour blocks. Maybe the reason for minimal lines? A beautiful morning for beginners or others who want a close mountain thats a lot of fun. Cool loves and facilities as well.

We had so much fun at the haunted house! They really do put on a great show!! The costumes were quite realistic! Jump and scare factor was pretty good!! Its definitely worth the $$! We took our daughter who is 10 and she loves it! Although she is into that kind of stuff! It still was pretty scary!!

Ive been on a sabbatical of sorts since late August. Focusing family and friends... exploring the towns in a 20 mile radius from where I grew up. Refocusing on my Art work and things that make me happy. Ive met a lot of truly amazing people on this journey and thankful have been a part of some very special moments. Its been awhile since I visited Nashoba valley ski area but I visited yesterday. Its always great to see friendly and familiar faces in a town I call home.

I only go once a year for witches woods, and I have to say the last couple of years have been extremely sad, the haunts and the hay ride definitely need more people this year there was maybe 30 workers compared to when I work there, when there were at least 70 to 75, I really hope this doesnt mean that witchs woods is going to be closing......................

Great Family Ski/ Snowboarding area. We recently visited on a Sat afternoon. Four buses arrived after us but it did not seem crowded.Beginner area: Multiple, small areas with rope tows that move quickly. Mix of adult and kids learning to ski.Chair lifts: Lines move quickly, the double chair lift was the easiest chair lift to get on/off especially with kids.Ski/ snowboarding areas; Great for intermediate and beginner skiers. Many options though advanced skiers may find the slopes not as challenging. There are many beginner skiers/ snowboarders on larger hills as beginner hills are small. This can be a bit challenging at times.Lodge: food was a bit pricey similar to other ski area. Small lodge area to eat. There is not alot of room for storage. The restaurant upstairs was very nice with an amazing view. The staff was the best very attentive and friendly!Terrain Park: We didnt use but varied jumps. Only downside was skiers who shouldnt be on the park.We would highly recommend, great family location, lots of parking!

Good hill and good snow. This is not a huge ski area, but had several lifts allowing us to get up the hill quickly after skiing down. Nice place to get in some runs, work on turns and enjoy the outdoors. Extremely nice lift operators and staff!Did not go to the lodge due to the pandemic, so I could not rate it.The rental area, as expected, was the only bottleneck in the trip. Even that was not too bad.Ordered all tickets and rentals on line in advance. I was able to grab my lift tickets in the rental area. This was a great convenience, allowing me to skip waiting in a separate line!

Me and my gf went to this haunted hayride called witches woods. It has 4 attractions, like a haunted hay ride and 3 haunted houses. It also has a huge carnival with rides, food and games. This place was very awesome to go to. It was our first time going to this place. I took alot of great pictures of scary exhibits. The parking was free and they had handicap parking and handicap accessible entrances. It cost 40 dollars to go to everything. The rides were free when you get a wristband. They would give you tickets for every haunted house. Also you would have to pay for the games to play here and the food. But it was well worth of going to this place. I am really thinking about going back next year in october. Cause we both had so much fun.

Nashoba is great for night skiing close to Boston. Its super easy to get to, not far off Route 2. Depending on the time of season there may only be some trails open, but for the cost and the distance it cant really be beat. They do rentals, lessons, have a bunny slopes area, multiple lifts, a restaurant and food court area and more.

This is the closest place to ski near Boston so they can charge high prices. $35-$40 for 2 hours of tubing or skiing. Long lines on the weekends so you will be lucky to get in 2 or 3 runs on a short slope or tub run. $600 for season ski pass but no longer a discount for seniors. You would be better off driving to a real ski slop in NH than coming to Nashoba Valley or just skip the skiing or tubing and have lunch and enjoy the view.

OK so it gets a 4 because a guy sold us his full day tickets at noon for cheap. I dont think I would have paid the typical $40 half day once I saw the mountain. This is a medium sized hill folks, its perfect for learning to ski. People hoping for more than a few trails that are longer than 20 seconds to ski should not come here. All in all I had a good time, wasnt too crowded and snow was decent. I typically ski something like Killington though and this is not even comparable.

Review №37

This is not a good place for beginners, as the beginner area gets too crowded and cant accommodate so many people. Its impossible to learn when navigating so many bodies. The staff kept allowing bottlenecks on the magic carpet and tow ropes, and wasnt very professional with making sure people used it correctly. Its also really easy to accidentally crash into the tow rope as theres no barrier from the beginning area. The staff doesnt seem the most attentive either. There were more beginning areas advertised on the website, but they were blocked off by the ski school.

There is no capacity limit like there is suppose to be. The beginners hill gets completely overtaken with the ski school making it unenjoyable and hard to use for families to use and even access. For the price it is not worth going by any means. Save your money and take a nice trip up north to an actual ski mountain that can accommodate what Nashoba tries too. If not, find a nice local hill and start there. Will never go back.

SNOW TUBING BE AWARE - If you like to pay $140 for family of 4 and it takes 30 minutes to go down a hill once - this place is for you.the most poorly run business youll visit. $140 for family of 4. you will sit insanely long lines because of how unorganized and poorly managed it is.There are 2 lifts up hill and if only one is open on the weekend - dont bother going. because it creates one insanely long lines that is chaotic because it backs up to the ticket area and both sides of hill are merging so people are cutting and theres no roped lines. Also they send people down in turns because they wait for the people in front of you to get out of the landing area. However, you will sit at top of hill and watch people who are just standing around after their turn and have no common sense to get out of the way so the group at the top of the mountain can go. There is ALWAYS at least one person who is not realizing this and going slow. Do you think the one worker whos only job is to stand at the bottom of the hill and tell people to get out of the area or help them is doing anything to speed this along...nope.A simple sign/banner at the bottom and top of hill telling people this would make an enormous difference (get out of way so group behind you can go). They also allow tandems to go but dont tell you which lanes its allowed in. So you wait in a lane at the top finally are up to go next and the worker telling people to go finally tells you you cannot do tandem in that particular lane you have to go in a different lane for that which means you start over in the lanes line. CRAZY. again, simple signage and people communicating would make a world of difference. Its like the manage is indifferent to make this place run efficiently. If you like to pay $140 for family of 4 and it takes 30 minutes to go down a hill once - this place is for you.

So you have limited time and you can’t ski or learn so don’t be disappointed . You can still enjoy the snow and winter here by snow tubbing. It was soo much fun that u won’t wanna ski !!The best is you can do it several times as you don’t have to drag your tube up, it’s all mechanised so just sit on the tube and you are taken up by the motor and come down tubbing. So if you are 50 u can still enjoy 😉 a few trips with your grand children. I am not sure if they have any age restrictions.

Its basically a small resort where you can have fun without going too far from Boston. The trip is really short and easy to access. I am only writing about my experience with the ski school and beginner area as that is all I went for. I have brought my kids to a number of the New England ski resorts through the years and my experience this weekend was among the worse. I went on a great ski day on a holiday weekend so it was quite crowded but I did not hold that against them. The main concern I had which was there was no keeping track of my children during the lesson. I watched them the whole time and noticed my son was just standing around for a while. I went up to him and he was crying because he lost his group. Yet nobody seemed to care he was gone. Other places have good systems to keep track of the kids but not here. On top of that, the beginner area is extremely beginner with small slopes. And while I saw some excellent teachers mostly the level of teaching I witnessed was subpar relative to other resorts. The positive is that the prices were reasonable.

Horrible experience. In the 2 hours I was there we got to slide 3 times. We stood in line for about 10 minutes when they said single tubes only here. I was with my kids one of whom is 6, so we needed to go together. An hour later we stood in the other line for about 20 minutes when they said singles only is these lines. Doubles can go down on line 2,3,4. You had no ideas which is line 2,3,4. By the time we figured out we realized we are not in the right one. Again this after standing in the line for 20 minutes. They just make up rules as they go. Good luck following them. The best part towards the end of our two hour window was when we were at the top standing in line as usual when they said the grooming machine is coming and everyone at the top will be stuck there for over 30 minutes on top of the 20-30 minutes of “usual” waiting and no way to leave. Last time going to this place. Never again.
