I am lucky enough to work very close to this shoe repair. The other day I dropped a pair of boots and they replaced the heels and they’re like new again! Actually broken in and comfy like new!! I’m sure you can relate! You finally get a pair of shoes comfortable and then you step in a hole and rip the heel all to pieces ! Fret not these guys will come to the rescue! What I love about this place is they also mend leather bags/wallets. They’re super nice, and timely. I have so many bags I adore but the handles are thrashed or something is flawed and these guys fix that! I’m over the moon that they are going to replace my old purse handles with new ones on one of my oldest bags I’ve managed to keep over decades. I will be back again and again. Thank you!

I brought my shoes for repair and needed some new laces as well. I got wrong advice for the laces too long and had an unfriendly person a day after. Also, I realized that the heel repair is not done very well, seeing a little gap after a short period of time, so it might get off very soon. Im not happy with the customer treatment and workmanship.

This place is the biggest rip off. They over charge since they are located in Westlake. They quoted me new heels and soles on my shoes which was more than what I originally had paid for the shoes. I told him this, and he said we have to pay for our high rent, that is why we charge so much! Funny the man behind me was over quoted too and left behind me without leaving his shoes too. Never do business with Shoe Wiz. They even said you have to pay first when you drop off your shoes. Would you pay for a service that is not completed or even attempted or to your satisfaction? Would you pre-pay for a shoddy and shady service that overcharges you? Should shoes take a week to repair? Look elsewhere. All the reviews I read here must have been written by the owner, because the business practices here are disgusting and unethical. You would be stupid to drop your shoes off here.

This guy Herber is the best... And doesnt try to rip you off like everyone else in town... Did a fantastic job cleaning up my filthy suede Clarks desert boot. Will be going to him from now on, I recommend you do the same. Hell turn an old unwearable shoe into a brand new one in a couple days...

I left a message about getting my boots re-soled and they didn’t contact me, so I stopped by the next day. He looked at my boots and told me that I weigh too much and that’s why the heels are worn out. (The boots are five years old and I wear them constantly, but sure, I could stand to lose a few pounds.) then he gave me an estimate of $95. The owner is incredibly rude and I wouldn’t waste my time.
