I have brought my Acura here before and really liked how they ran their shop. I now have a Honda Odyssey and brought it to Mark again. He is honest and doesn’t try to up sell you on anything. There is one guy working on your car and it’s him, with lots of experience! His wife Dawn is very nice and straight forward and takes the time to explain things. Timely repair and fair pricing! I will continue to get my car serviced here. Thanks guys!!
Something I dont like about mechanics is that I feel as though I cant trust them. But with these people, and this shop? I trust them completely. They explain it all to me. They take the time to go above and beyond to make sure I understand what is wrong and they fix it perfectly. When I had to get a new car some years back I called in specifically to make sure that they were able to work on it should the need arise. I will always come here before all others. This is truly a great place to have your car come.
Great service and friendly
My family and I have been second generation customers of Mark and Dawn for many years and couldnt be happier with their service. They helped us with a Honda Civic, Toyota Highlander, and a Lexus IS250 without any difficulty. They go the extra yard to get parts and ensure the work is done correctly. I can assure you after many years of satisfied service that you will not find a more honest mechanic than Mark.
I have been going to Mill Creek Motor works for years because they are honest, reasonable, and do great work! Not only that, they go above and beyond to work with you in planning repairs and maintenance so you are never surprised by a huge bill. I recommend Mill Creek to everyone!
Ive been taking my Element and Civic to Mark for the past few years. Ive always had great service @ Mill Creek, with honest discussion about my options and the work done. Both of my vehicles are high mileage and Mark has helped keep them running with a minimum of repairs! Hes done clutch work, brakes, etc.My other friends in the area who are hobbyist mechanics also have nothing but good things to say about the shop.
Mill Creek is the absolute BEST. Best value, best in quality, and best cost. Mark is an incredibly skilled mechanic and has always treated me as though I were family. Theres no better place in Westminster for car care, particularly for Honda and Acura owners. Keep it up, Mill Creek!!
Mark is a nice guy, and they do a good job, but his wife on the other hand? She’s a very mean, nasty & bitter woman. So unnecessarily rude.
Mark has kept my 91 CRX on the road for the last 10 years--still getting 50 MPG after 350,000 miles! Great service at a fair price. I would recommend Mill Creek to anyone.
The absolute BEST in the business. Goes above and beyond EVERY visit and takes the time to explain the whys for certain, non-routine items. Prices are fair and service is always excellent. I could not be happier.--Kdc
Finding a trustworthy and dependable certified mechanic for Honda and Toyota vehicles that can service vehicles outside a dealership can be a difficult proposition. Our family moved to New Windsor Maryland in 2000 and discovered Mill Creek Motor Works in 2002. Mark has serviced multiple Honda Odyssey and Toyota Camry vehicles over the past 14 years and we simply could not be more pleased. His attention to detail, insightful analysis and recommendations on best course of action have afforded our family the confidence of knowing issues are resolved without compromise in quality of parts or subject matter expertise this is consistently thorough. The most compelling evidence that illustrates the value of relying on Mark as my primary mechanic is my 2005 Toyota Camry with is still driving perfectly with 270,000 miles and our immediate family has a 2001 Honda Odyssey with over 300,000 miles!! A simple phone call to Dawn leads to reliable service that resolves unforeseen issues as well as planning for scheduled maintenance. The value and quality of the work performed at Mill Creek Motor Works is simply top shelf!
Mark is a super nice guy and a great mechanic. His wife/office manager on the other hand, is possibly one of the rudest most obnoxious people I have ever met. Better to deal with him direct if you can cause she is just outright horrible
I have been taking my 2003 Acura to Mill Creek for years. I know I will have it for many more years because of Marks expert and knowledgeable care. Between my husband, son, and me, we have had three Acuras, and all have been serviced at Mill Creek. Mark and Dawn know their cars, and they are honest, trustworthy, and VERY easy to work with and accommodating. We no longer live close to Mill Creek, but we continue to have Mark service the cars. We trust Mark and Dawn completely and wouldnt consider using any other mechanic.
Mill Creek Motor Works has been my one and only mechanic team for the past 10 + years.I have had an old Honda pick up truck, another pick- up truck and a Honda Ridgeline thatMark and Dawn have honestly and reliably kept running for the past 10 years and now at 285,000 miles-- it is still running. I had a timing belt break recently with what should have been 30,000 miles left on the belt. Mark and Dawn have been communicating with Honda to see if something can be done for the cost, etc. As our family was in the market for another vehicle, Dawn helped me research vehicles and made recommendations that met my needs and wants and most importantly my budget. I work on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and bring my vehicle in when I have a day off. Dawn sees to it that the parts are available and Mark gets the work done the same day. Mark and Dawn are more than fair on their prices ( sometimes I think they could and should be charging more) and have NEVER been asked to pay for a repair that was not needed! I highly recommend using Mark and Dawn at Millcreek for your automotive repair needs! Love these guys!
I would never trust anyone else to work on my 07 Acura. If you want a personable, fair & honest experience go see Mark. He has saved me a ton of $$$ and given me options to fit my budget, never pushing unnecessary add-ons like some shady shops & dealers.
Great service and great prices for Very efficient work
When we moved to Westminster, we found Millcreek Works in the first couple of months. They have maintained our Hondas and other cars for the last 8 years. Dawn and Mark are trustworthy and professional and of course extremely knowledgable. I have recommended Millcreek to many of my friends and family and would recommend them to anyone that I know. Good people and great service is a fantastic combination.
I have been a customer of Mill Creek for over ten years and have had two Honda Civics, two Honda Pilots, an Acura TL and Acura MDX worked on at the shop and have always received top notch service. Mark was recommended to me by a friend years ago and I have not taken my Honda products anywhere since. I have recommended Mill Creek to friends and family and they are now also customers.Mark walks through every service with me and discusses the options I have. He has always been honest with me and has not steered me wrong. Their pricing cannot be beat as Ive called the dealer for quotes on comparable services and the dealer was always significantly higher. They are very responsive in scheduling appointments and during emergency situations. We were in Hagerstown when the starter went bad on my 2004 Pilot (I had ignored the warning signs...) and Dawn answered the phone on a Sunday morning to help us out. They gave me troubleshooting tips and they had the starter replaced on Monday.I tell everyone I know with Hondas about Mark and Dawn. Ive never thought Id fully trust a mechanic, but they have my complete trust as they have truly earned it!
0 Rating actually! Horrible and expensive experience. A must read...Best part at the end. I NEVER WANT TO SEE YOUR CAR IN MY GARAGE AGAIN...,I took my Honda accord to Mill Creek Motor (April) which says it specializes in Honda repair. My windows were sporadic and passenger side would not go up or down. Also the AC was not coming on and requested evaluation and possible repair.Well, after eval I was told window motors were burned out, so I reluctantly gave permission to replace @ $350 each. Two months later (June 1st) windows start acting up again. I take the car back and ask if it can be corrected. I was told it appears to be a master switch but not sure, and it would probably be another $200 to replace. Why could this switch issue not be detected in the first repair? It may have been the initial cause for window failure. Also in the initial visit, I requested repair of AC which was not coming on. After evaluation they replaced a relay switch which got it going again. They also emptied the Freon, but I was told when I picked the car up that they could not inject dye to check for leaks because they did not have the proper tool, but they did refill with freon regardless of a potential leak and told me they would not guarantee the AC. Hummm I thought they were a Honda specialist? I paid $250 for the relay and freon fill up.Two days after the windows started acting up, I had to take the car back again because the AC stopped working! So now when I take car back again I am told this car has lots of miles and many things can go wrong. After a brief digital evaluation I am told You are the first person in 30 years that has stumped me! I dont know what the problem is. They checked the freon pressure and said it was fine. I was offered another more specific evaluation at an additional cost to try and figure what was wrong, but I refused. I left frustrated a second time and $950 in the hole with two items which I thought were going to be repaired. So my only option was to take my Accord to a Dealer the next day to have it repaired. This is the best part....I called back Mill Creek to tell them that while at the dealer they said the freon pressure was weak. (I was told by Mill Creek the day before it was fine). In the conversation I was respectful and as nice as I could be under the circumstances, but I asked if I brought the car back would they check for leaks again and refill with freon at no cost so I would not have the dealer charge me another $200. RESPONSE...we not responsible, and refused any additional assistance. I said that a good and reputable business tries to make things right. Then I hear on the other end, I NEVER WANT TO SEE YOUR CAR IN MY GARAGE AGAIN, NOT FOR BREAKS, OIL CHANGE, NOTHING and click, they hung up the phone. Wow! Not the way you want to treat local customers.Dont worry Mill Creek Motor, none of my family, friends, neighbors or anyone I can tell will come to your garage again.
I love you guys
Worst ever! so rude!
