I wish their prices were more competitive!! I do love my Ace, but Im giving it a 3/5 right now if only for the prices & limited selection on certain items. However I ADORE the screws & bolts selection!! It is very customer friendly for people like me, much easier than their competition!! Alright.... Ill bump it to 4/5 EXACTLY for just that reason!! B+

Ron and Dylan are both extremely helpful and knowledgeable on the STIHL product line. They carry good stock on both electric and gas. If you want good service and a pleasant customer experience, do business with ACE and forgot about homeDepot.

The customer service was absolutely wonderful! The truck had just come in and the wonderful man spend 10 minutes finding me a battery. Would 10/10 recommend. 5 other employees asked if they could help us in the meantime. @King Chevrolet in Longmont could learn a bit from Ace.

This is by far my favorite Ace Hardware! Today, I picked up my patio screen door that was ready 2 weeks earlier than expected!I loved that the man who re-screened it also brought it to me. Archer, John, Robert and the entire crew were great! Everyone knew where everything was without missing a beat. I had a tall order but was still in and out in reasonable timing! Talk about helpful and friendly hardware folk.

Stopped in for just a few M4 nuts. A whooping 12 cents each, I bought 8 (dont worry it didnt break the bank). My point is the staff there is very engaging and must really love their job and treated me accordingly. Great place to actually have someone help you find what youre looking for without making you feel like an interruption. I only wish I allowed more time to explore the store. No worries Ill be back!

Always a positive experience when shopping at Mile High Ace Hardware and Garden. Expect a warm welcome as you walk in and help in every department. They have a bit of everything, and are consistently changing out stock to meet the incoming seasons. Crazy to think... but I believe they are best known for their barbecue selection, they have EVERYTHING you can think of-whether your a Traeger, Weber or Big Green Egg fan. Their spice rack is endless, aa their support for Colorado based businesses. Last but not least, they offer a discount to veterans, and I really appreciate that!

I highly recommend the Mile High Ace. Their staff is knowledgeable about items (for the DIYers, semi and professionals) to complete jobs small to large. The variety of in-store products is excellent for a non-big box. Every time we have had to made the obligatory three runs to complete a project being done (and it always happens, right?) the last few pieces are right there. We used to go to the other hardware stores. We were met with staff who either didnt know where anything was, didnt know what we were talking about or just plain turned around and left customers to fend for themselves. I would rather spend a bit more for superior service and products then deal with that type of thing. Dont know what the last piece of that project should do? Cannot find the it to finish? Dont have the type of vehicle to transport your stuff? They have it 96% of the time, know how to use it or can have it delivered. Definitely give this store a try. You will not be disappointed.

I had the pleasure of working for Mile High Ace Hardware for over two years. It is a great place. I really can’t say enough good things. If you want to shop at at a local business that is highly professional and good for the community then this is the place. I’m really going to miss it. The only reason I left is because I’m moving. The staff, management, and owners genuinely care about the customers and the employees. They are very knowledgeable and invest in teaching their people new skills which are passed on in excellent customer service. They really go above and beyond for everyone. They do a lot for the community too, and take part in charities. They really made sure to take Covid seriously too. They have been very good to the staff making sure everyone is safe and taken care of while still accommodating customers in as safe a manner as possible. As in any business there is the occasional issue. If you ever have a problem just be patient and communicate. They will do as much as possible to fix your problem. I know for a fact that they take customer issues seriously and go out of their way to make things right. They truly do value your business. I highly recommend this store over the big box stores. They have a great selection of product, but if they don’t have something in stock just ask one of the associates and they will be happy to order it in if it’s available in the regional warehouse. They also do a 10 percent military discount, and on Tuesdays a ten percent seniors discount. They also do free delivery on Tuesdays and Fridays for grill purchases over $400. They do small engine repair. Cut keys. They program key fobs for most vehicles and program transponder keys for most vehicles too. They do screen repair. Their garden center is excellent too. They have a beautiful greenhouse with a great selection of flowers, vegetables, herbs, succulents, and house plants. They have a huge nuts and bolts section including grade 8 American, and class 10.9 metric, so you can get nuts and bolts for your vehicles. I can keep going, but I think everyone gets the idea.

Never been there before in my life

This used to be the Ace I would go to. Instead, not a single offer of help from any employee. They were more interested in closing the store versus helping customers.One employee was sitting at the entrance, on their phone. Very discouraging experience.

My girlfriend and I had glass fall into our garbage disposal and needed to get it taken apart to clean out asap. Found we needed an offset screw driver to get it opened and this was the closest store that showed some stocked. When we got there we asked one of the employees where we could find one. He took us to the aisle and when there was not one on the shelf he offered to look in the back for us. He came out a minute later to say he could not find one for us to buy, but he had one in his personal tool kit. He handed it to us, said to take it, and hoped we could get everything fixed. We did manage to get the disposal taken apart and cleaned out, and the next time I have any need for a tool or hardware supplies this is the location Im gonna go to. Extremely helpful people!

Robert was so very Rude, and this was on the phone mind you, I couldnt imagine how much worse it would have been in person. I had a question about the sizes of sliding screen doors I explained my dilemma regarding needing a shorter than standard size of door for my 89 year old Mom. This clown says to me sorry I dont know what you want me to do for you. Really well I can tell people how Rude you are and not to shop at this store!!

This store is super convenient because its so close to home. The workers there are so nice and helpful! They go out of their way to make sure you find everything your looking for and i was looking for a piece for my BBQ. Only because I couldnt get the valve from my old tank to come off the burner knobs of the grill so I was just gonna buy a new set of burners and they were able to use their tools and get the hose off! How cool that was! It saved me from having to buy a whole new set of burners that I really didnt want. So I got a few more things that I wanted but didnt really need. You know how that goes. But every time I go, I always have a great experience and plenty of attention for all my strange questions on tools and stuff. Very knowledgable guys around there!

Was having difficulty in releasing a bracket from a projector mount. Local locksmith said he was unable to address the problem. Local audio stores also unable to fix the issue. Went to this ace store and was helped by Nick & Joey. Lock cylinder was damaged, but with persistence and some special tools, they were able to save the day. Thanks guys!!!

This wound being a pretty nice experience. I had to get a duplicate key, and they managed this very quickly.The only readon for them not getting a fifth star is that they were a little slow to open another checkout line when the crowd got deep, and because I was not quoted a price on my key. So I went to checkout not really knowing what this was going to run me, and I had to wait a bit when I got there.None of these were deal-breakers, and I will shop there again. Just kept things from being 5-star perfect.

The staff and the owners genuinely care about the customers, and do everything they can to make sure they deliver a great customer experience. They also appreciate our veterans. I encourage people to shop here over home Depot or Lowes. You will get a lot more help finding what you need. The management and staff is very knowledgeable.

Horrible place.. I have tried to support this store as I generally love ACE. issues in the but today was the last purchase......I bought a gallon of paint it was listed on the shelf for 49.99, got my tint and moved out to pay. It rang up as 79.99, a 30.00 dollar difference. When I asked for clarification I was told oops were switching inventory around I was told it was my fault for the error as I should be able to see that they are moving product around???? umm no.... the manager was rude and basically told me if I didnt like it too bad. ZERO follow up and customer service or even an ooops our bad was more like you should know better which I now do, last time this ACE gets my business..........

Super Service and they had product needed at a fair price. I was pleasantly greeted shortly after I entered the store and again twice while I was in the small parts selecting what I needed. Assistance helped me locatate the parts I was looking for and I was quickly on my way. Check out was quick and pleasant.

Everyone on staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. Store is large and clean... very nice place to shop. The only negative issue is that they charge to cut wood, $1 per cut. I dont feel comfortable cutting 1×6s myself and other stores will do these few simple cuts for me at no charge.

It was my second time shopping in this Ace a couple of weeks ago and I was so impressed with the customer service. My first visit was to make some keys, which did work better than those made at another home improvement store. I was greeted at the door both times and was asked by several employees if I needed help as I was looking around while waiting on some glass to be cut. It was so refreshing not to hunt and find a staff member for help. Cudos to the store manager and staff for providing what is so needed in businesses now days.

I have shopped here twice and the past two times have not been a great experience! The first time I shopped here there sale items were not even on the right products, There was only one cashier running the register and of course a very long line!! Really you cant open another lane. The second experience was pretty much the same !! I do not know how Ace hardware keeps going !! There way to pricey and they are just rude!! So if you looking for a friendly place to shop this is not the place to go!!

Theyre great for keys. I have gotten a fair amount done there. Only had trouble with 2 different car keys. One they kept at it and even tried a failing key in the car to figure it out and they did! The other they just couldnt make. Pretty good record and service.

Stopped by this location last week. The staff was extremely knowledgable and assisted me in selecting the grill Id been looking for in my price range. Also picked up some paint and Nick was nice enough to answer all of my questions. This store is run with absolute gratitude and grace.

Prices are average, but fair, it is a small business after all. I love this store and all the employees, they have always treated me with respect.
