I accompanied my wife here for her appointment at 2:30pm 07/21/2021. They asked for her to come in at 2:15pm due to her being a new patient... Got in around 2:10pm and finished the paperwork within minutes, expected to be called in at 2:30. It is now 3:17pm and my wife still hasn’t been seen, we asked how much longer is the wait and they said there are more than 5 people still waiting... we decided to leave and even though this doctors office had wasted over 30minutes of our busy schedule I’m just happy not to give them my business and let them bill our insurance

Great staff, great doctor and great clean atmosphere. I like their quick appt scheduling. I didnt have much of a wait while in there. Overall, I had a great experience.

The optometrist is excellent and my only reason to use the Westport location. 5 stars. Unfortunately, the glasses & contacts experience is frustrating, particularly if you dont know what to expect. 1> They are expensive. Yes the people are nice, but they are trained to deflect price questions and deliver rolled-up quotes that highlight in-network benefits and not what you must pay. Keep in mind--outlets like MyEyeDr are in cahoots with the insurance companies, prices & in-network benefits are coordinated. 2> They assume you will purchase contacts, at whatever price they quote, and the attitude changes big-time when you ask questions, or decline. I suppose Westport folks have money to burn, so this works for all. 3> If you push back, they claim to match prices, you are then passed off to a manager and they go through a big show of looking up a better deal. This serves to generate more pressure not to leave the store and buy from them. My personal experience is that I can buy our disposables (3 people) at Costco, file the out-of-network benefit, and save $200/yr. In summary --I give them 3 stars because you get a good product. Whether prices are fairor not is a matter of opinion.
